We stayed recently and took a room on the 8th floor. It's a busy street below, so being so high it helps keep noise in the room to a minimum. Some aspects of the room are a little dated by modern standards, but everything is clean and tidy.
The staff are the stars in this hotel, both at reception, in the breakfast room, and the cleaning team. A couple of small items were missing from our room but were quickly delivered. Breakfast had a decent selection, although the coffee machines did seem to run out of milk frequently, so you had to ask the staff to top up. Also, please get a sharper knife to cut the bread with!
Although closed when we visited out of season in March, the rooftop pool area has fabulous views across the city - not to be missed.
Olga at the front desk will and can answer any question and her English is fantastic.

When you go ask for Georgia, tell her you heard she was funny. The room was clean and comfy, changed plans to come here again in the way out.
Staff at the check in desk were friendly and efficient.
Unfortunately I have to amend my review of this hotel. I stupidly forgot my Samsung headphones which I left on charge in the room. I do expect hotels to train their staff to hand in all belongs when cleaning rooms but I have not got these back. No one intends to leave belongings in their rooms, but this hotels staff are not trustworthy I am afraid. Shame was a nice hotel but won't be staying here on my next visit.
The positives - rooms are extremely nice with a Jacuzzi tub and a shower with body sprays. Beds are super comfortable. Rooms were clean and nicely prepared.
Rooftop pool, bar, and dining area are just beautiful to relax after a day of sightseeing.
All other staff were more than helpful and very kind.
