Wyndham Grand Athens

Wouldn’t even give this place one star. Walked in with my brother and said we would stay a few nights. We never committed to the number of days for our stay. Day 1 we had our cash stolen while at the hotel. Secondly the rooms had no toilet paper or other toiletries even though we had requested them multiple times. The room was anything but quiet. We were so unhappy with our stay that we decided to leave earlier than expected. The staff were not helpful or accommodating. I was charged for two rooms for 3 nights while only staying 1 night. I will be submitting formal action to receive a refund from this horrible hotel. I would not recommend to anyone.

It's too bad I can't put -5 stars. I did not sleep for more than 30 min. First off, the customer service is horrible. They never pick up the phone. I called from the room 3 times, and then the room phone stopped working. I called from my cell 4 times, and nobody picked up. I wanted to switch rooms. The noise through the windows was so loud that they might as well not have windows. Very bad insulated windows. All I heard were people yelling all night and loud motorcycles. It was horrible. The shower faucet started to leak automatically at 2:30 a.m. for about 30 min, and it was really annoying. The shower had a lot of black mold check out the pictures. The hotel hallway carpets are disgusting. I smelled smoke in my room like someone was smoking outside my door. The shower in my wife's room had no door, and the drainage was so bad the water went into the room. They did not have 1 room big enough to accommodate me my wife and 2 kids, so we were separated completely across the hotel. I wanted to shower so bad and got into the shower and came to find there was zero shampoo or body wash. Please do not even think about visiting this place. I spoke to the front deck the following morning to explain in a nice way what a horrible experience we had. They said they would have the manager call me that day. I asked for a full refund. It's been 5 days since I still have not heard back. I will email them and see if that works.
