This is such a unique hotel in Santorini. It’s beachfront, with free access to the stunning black sand beach, a must-see and a wonderful place to swim. The design is exceptional, and the interior decor with its decorative details is outstanding.
The food is absolutely delicious, and we loved spending our days swimming in the pool or the sea while enjoying tasty snacks. The hotel is located on an authentic, less crowded side of Santorini, offering a more peaceful atmosphere but still with plenty of options nearby.The service was excellent as well.

My husband and I stayed in the Storia suite for our honeymoon and had an amazing experience. Our room had stunning views of the Black Sand Beach and the hotel pool was absolutely incredible. The suite itself was beautiful, but the service provided by the hotel staff is what made our experience so memorable! Everyone was so kind helpful, and they always greeted us with the biggest smiles. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Our stay at Istoria was nothing short of perfect. Every part of the experience was five-star, from the stunning design to the incredible views. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—always helpful, kind, and attentive. The atmosphere is peaceful, the setting is breathtaking, and the level of service is truly top of the line. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Santorini. Highly recommend!

We made friends! The hotel Manager was viable and interacting and really wanted to know your thoughts and views on the hotel, the bartender Stelios was awesome, with local tips and makes a mean Drink. Location was clutch. You cannot go wrong with this Hotel. We are in our 50's. and tour the Mediterranean often.

This stunning property is full of so many stories, you can tell from the design elements chosen here. That's what drew me to choose Istoria for my holiday, but the enchanting black beach, crystal waters, delicious food and unforgettable staff are what made my stay so wonderful. I'm definitely coming again, asap!

We visited Santorini for our honeymoon and we could not have asked for a better stay at Istoria. Everyone there was so kind, and the beach is right across the street. The breakfast included with the stay was amazing. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff were welcoming, and very helpful. The room was cool and spacious, comfortable and clean. The pool was gorgeous and the pool area well staffed and maintained. Access to the beach was fantastic too. The restaurant offered a nice varied menu, we would have breakfast and lunch there, though we did have dinner on the first night but we were the only guests which was a shame. I hired a car through the hotel and needed to amend a boat booking which the reception staff were great at handling. They also helped recommend and book restaurants on different parts of the island, all of which were very good. We used the spa which was also very nice and calming experience. We had a fantastic break.

A stay at the sleek Istoria gives you volumes more than you pay for in bliss, comfort, and elegance. It is managed to perfection by George, a genuine professional with a playful twinkle about the eyes. The staff is attentive and kind, without being overbearing. The breakfast and drinks are luxurious. The spa is sublime. If you come to Santorini, stay here.

Superb private rooms with an own hot tub—very nice pool too. The beach across the street was delightful, and food (tuna and caviar) and specialty drinks served there too. Many delicious restaurants close by—highly recommend.
