Tholos Resort Hotel in Imerovigli

Great location if you’re looking for a room with the perfect view. Easy to reach the location from the airport. Though, got to walk a lot of steps down to reach the reception/rooms. Travelled with an infant baby and it was tough to climb up to visit the island. Service was sub standard. Nobody seems to enjoy working. Couple of times got the wrong breakfast delivered. Asked the server to replace it when they got it to the room, you’ll not see the server again even though they mention they’ll replace. Had juice delivered with hair in it, was supposed to be replaced - they don’t bother to bring you a fresh glass or even mention that they won’t bring it. You’ll be there waiting. Only housekeeping was great.

We stayed at the Tholos for 2 nights and our experience was fantastic
The location is wonderful - in Imerovigli .
It is close by to many cafés and bars , and also just 10-15 mins walk to Fira .

The staff at Tholos is excellent , as soon as we arrived - Victor helped us with our luggage down to the room .
Dimitris and Marianna who are at the reception are wonderful people . Right from our welcome drinks till the time we left - both of them attended to all our queries with a smile and ensured we are well taken care of .

Our Room was very clean and neat and had wonderful Caldera view and we could watch the sunset from there .
The swimming pool and the pool bar have great views and the excellent service by the team - Albie , Andy and another person ( Victors son) sorry forgot his name .

Breakfast was served at our room each morning and was delicious .
It’s been our most memorable experience staying here we we surely recommend this place in Santorini

Absolutely amazing stay!! We had two kids ages 12/15 and two adults. We got the room with the indoor pool, it was a hit with our youngest son! The location was perfect- we could walk everywhere and it was not too busy with tourists!

We recently stayed at Tholos for 3 nights, such a wonderful location. Stunning views, beautiful, well appointed rooms and I cannot recommend the staff enough. Dimitris was fantastic in assisting with our bookings, rooms and transfers, Albie was brilliant and served us by the pool and delivered our breakfast each day. Victor was wonderful in transporting our very heavy luggage. The staff were just wonderful and made us feel very welcome.
Tholos is located in Imerovigli, which is between the hustle and bustle of Fira and Oia. We found this to be a perfect location for a beautiful holiday.

Stayed here in Oct 23 as a 50th birthday treat from my daughter. Beautiful hotel in the most spectacular setting. The sunsets over the Caldera are out of this world. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was great, not a huge choice but all the dishes were lovely. Bar snacks for lunch were good too. Room had a hot tub on the balcony overlooking the Caldera, just wow! Loved it! Didn’t want to leave.

The views from my room were absolutely breathtaking, especially in the morning when everything felt vibrant and full of life. Stepping out at night, I was greeted by a beautiful starry sky. The room itself was spacious, and I especially loved the view from the swimming pool. One of the highlights was having breakfast delivered to the balcony each morning — such a thoughtful touch.
The bathroom was a bit small and could use better ventilation, but overall, the service provided was excellent.

After lots and lots of research, I am so glad that I booked Tholos Resort! There are so many options in Santorini, but Tholos was the best of everything. We had a great experience and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. The location is fantastic...I much prefer Imerovigli to Oia for quietness and central location. And the view...wow! Breakfast was included in our rate, which was always a nice spread. The staff is super nice and friendly, one of the hosts helped us coordinate a car rental. Our nice superior suite with outdoor jacuzzi faced Skaros Rock and had an amazing view of the caldera. Sunsets every night were fantastic. Stop by the mini market and souvenir shop (Antonia Mini Market next to Dear Elie restaurant) and stock up on water, beer, wine, and snacks during your stay. We always enjoyed a bottle of wine in the jacuzzi, which was a nice (and hot) way to end the evening. I highly recommend Tholos Resort and would definitely go back! If you stay here, I recommend rental a car to explore different parts of Santorini because it's not just Oia and Fira. There are public and street parking around the area within a short walk.

Feel lucky to have had such a wonderful view of the Caldera from our hotel terrace. Beautiful way to watch the sunset. It was super quiet and peaceful unlike Fira and Oia which were mad busy with cruise tourists. The room was quirky with an indoor pool. It was cold but lovely contrast to the outside temperature. The electric meter ticked loudly but sorted with earplugs. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Totally recommend.
