Strogili Hotel - Adults Only in Kamari

This is a really nice hotel, super clean, attentive and friendly staff, very relaxed environment and is close to the beach like 5 mins. We had an issue with the air con and this was resolved quickly by management getting contractors out to re gas, very efficient resolve We were worried about sun beds by the pool, there are not enough for every room I guess but we had no issue some days they have all gone by 9am and some by 10am which for us as early risers is for an issue. 2 slight negatives, lack of storage in the bedroom, the room we had could do with more drawers, and the balcony wall is quite high so you could not see out when sat down. On the whole i would not hesitate in recommending this hotel and would love to return to Strogili and Kamari, lovely Stay 😊

Very good service in all the staff. Very good food: many options at breakfast, good snacks and drinks menu! I had Schrimp risotti every day for lunch, the first three days this was the best risotto I ever had, but then maybe they changed chef, because the dish changed, so please go back to the first version because it was amazing; seafood taste, salty and sweet. The rooms are clean every day, all areas are very clean, hardly any bugs 😅 Only one thing that I missed was peggs to hang towels and wet swimming clothes in the rooms. In total a very good experience and I will be back! Have e great season, all at Stogili, the service could not have been any better! Very good job! 🤩

Wow! This hotel is a must! From its superb cleanliness to its beautiful setting, structure and staff! The pools are lovely to lay around with fantastic views with extremely comfy beds, you never have to rush for a bed either! The management is fantastic, the manager could not have done more for us, he’d check in with us, make thoughtful gestures for guests and made sure to celebrate my mums birthday! Rooms are spacious and very modern and the hotel is in a great location for getting buses to explore the local island! Be sure to try the milkshakes, they are lovely! Thank you Strogili and team for making our stay so wonderful :) we will be back!

A lovely small boutique style hotel 5 mins from sea, centre of Kamari and easy access to other parts of the island. Special mention to Athena on reception and her team. Very helpful, will arrange taxis (if you dont want to get bus to Oia) 45 Euros one way. Helped with restaurant booking in Oia too. Plenty of beds around the pool area. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice, although seating is a little tight if you want to eat outside. Bar area around the pool very good with good staff. Only gripe with the room (we had a superior double) was that there was no table or chairs inside and lack of storage space (no enough drawers). The TV channels in English only showed news so didnt bother. WIFI good, hairdryer had decent output and plenty of plug sockets. Special mention too to the housekeeping team who were very attentive. If you visit Santorini for the famous sunsets in Oia dont forget that Kamari, being on the east coast, gets sunrise which is just as magical as the sunsets. Definietly recommend to friends and family and would love to visit again one day. Keep up the good work.

Loved our stay here at the Strogili Hotel. We stayed for one week , bed and breakfast from 20/8/24. The hotel is small but beautifully presented. Pool area is small but adequate enough for the hotel size. We never struggled for beds at any time, which was a worry before we arrived. There are different types of sunbeds, some with cushions, some without. Not all had access to umbrellas but there are plenty of trees for shade. We had room 212, which was a double room overlooking the bar area and pool ( partially). The room was spacious and modern. It had air con ( which worked absolutely fine), mini fridge ( two bottles of water were there on arrival , which was a nice touch), tea and coffee making facilities. It also had a hairdryer ( but I didn’t use this as I had my own). There was also , small toiletries, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and soap. The room had a large private balcony. Some rooms have very small balconies and I’m sure the room below ours at the bottom of the steps didn’t have a private balcony , as there were a table and two chairs outside the door. I personally wouldn’t have like this room. The hotel staff and bar staff were always really friendly. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, with rooms being cleaned daily also. Pool towels are provided at reception. They are white so can become dirty fairly quickly. Particularly if you go to the beach with them. The reception staff were very helpful. You can ask them to book your taxis, tours and even car hire. They give you a map on arrival, which is handy. The taxi to Fira is €30 each way and takes about 20 mins. Breakfast was plentiful. You wouldn’t go hungry. Considering it is only a small breakfast area, there was plenty of choice. The seating area did get very busy at times but we never had to wait for a table. It did irk me how some people dragged their breakfast out by getting more coffee etc and sitting there for ages, when they could have taken it to the pool bar. We used the gym a few times . It stated it was open from 8am but we did go in before. It’s not very big. It only has one of everything but was adequate enough for us. Could have done with a water dispenser and towels, so you have to take your own. The location of the hotel was fab. Literally a few minutes walk took you to the beach which was lined with bars and restaurants and it was also close to shops and supermarkets. There was a big one further up the road ( turn right out of the entrance) which we didn’t spot until the last night. It looked like it had more choice than the 24hr one close by. Obviously, the hotel is on the flight path and you will get aircraft noise, but you do get used to it. All in all, we had a great stay at the hotel and would definitely return in the future.Kamari is a fabulous resort. The best place we’ve been to for a long time.

Our stay at Strogoli was perfect. We stayed in room 301, with our own plunge pool and patio area. We would definitely recommend the upgrade. The room was spacious and clean. Good air conditioning and a double shower. Cleaning service daily. A variety of fresh breakfast options. The pastries were a favourite. A few minutes walk to the beach, with plenty of restaurants and bars. Taxis easy to get to Oia and Fira for stunning sunset dinners and beautiful scenery. A big shout out to Athina and Gogo. They helped make our stay at Strogoli even better. Both so helpful, friendly and welcoming. Athina on reception was always on hand to answer questions and help when needed. We would definitely return to Strogoli. Thank you for making our honeymoon perfect!

What an amazing experience we had at this hotel, I booked this as a surprise for my wife's birthday, from first arriving at the hotel everything was perfect, we couldn't find fault at all , the staff were amazing , especially Gogo, who was so professional both at breakfast and around the bar, nothing was too much trouble for her, it seems wrong to single anyone out as all of the staff were professional and courteous. The room we had walked out onto a separate pool from the main pool and it was such a lovely setting. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and tasty, as were the bar meals served throughout the day. the hotel was close enough to the main beach / promenade and restaurants (350m) to be convenient but far enough that you weren't disturbed. The cleanliness of the hotel was second to none and room service very good. The ultimate compliment for this hotel is we have booked again already for next year. Look forward to visiting again

This is the third time staying at this hotel and it just gets better. We had a superior room which was amazing but got upgraded to swim up pool room and wow beyond wonderful. I just love everything about this hotel. The location is great but it’s also very quiet. The breakfast is so nice with great choices. The hotel and pool area are exceptionally clean and you can always get a sunbed. The staff are so friendly and a pleasure. I would never consider staying anywhere else. Thank you Strogili.

My wife and I are just back from an excellent two weeks in Santironi, staying at the Strogili hotel. Its a well run and lovely hotel, just a couple of minutes from the beachfront, and a few minutes walk to the bus stop for Fira and elsewhere. The room was spacious, modern and cleaned diligently every day. Breakfast was plentiful, and the optional snacks delicious. The gym is small and, tbh, perhaps could have done with some towels or a water dispenser. But, it was more than sufficient. The pool area was big enough and cleaned daily. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly, personable and efficient. Special mention has to go to both Magda and Arthur on the bar/snack area. They worked tirelessly and effortlessly to keep us fed and watered. A real pleasure to have met them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend both the hotel and resort.
