Daedalus Hotel

I had a great experience with this hotel and its staff. Nick (Nicolas? I can’t remember exactly the full name) was such a wonderful staff member! He offered to upgrade me to an even better room once it became available without me asking. He even gave me a towel every day I went to the gym so I wouldn’t have to pay for one every time. He also made sure I got my laundry the same day. It’s these “little” details that make a place memorable. The pool bar is wonderful and the bartender Maggie is so incredible! She seems happy to be there which makes such a difference. She made me want to come there for a drink before getting my evening started with just her energy! For these reasons and more I will definitely remember and recommend this place! Oh, and it’s walking distance to awesome restaurants and shops! Very safe area in my experience.

Amazing location and wonderful staff. I was with a tour group and we were are very well taken care of. Joanne is an outstanding hostess. The pool is gorgeous with all types of seating, very shady and a pool bar. Buffet breakfast had many options and staff was polite and attentive. Only a short walk to shopping, restaurants and amazing views. I highly recommend this hotel.

We loved staying with Daedalus!! The staff were very welcoming and accommodating and the room was comfortable and clean. Our room had a patio with a small pool just for us, which we loved! There was also an outdoor drying rack which made it so easy to allow our swimsuits to dry. The hotel is in a perfect location in Fira - close to the center of town, but somewhat removed so it’s nice and quiet. We also thought it was very convenient to have a grocery store so close to our hotel.

Family owned and run hotel with amazing service. Thanks to Melina for all the service and tips she provided - she took care of us as if we were family. Centrally located with a short walk into town and lots of private parking for rented vehicles. The rooms are spacious and good value.

Very close location if you was coming with local bus 3 min and till fira city centre. Very tasty breakfast.

My wife and I stayed here as our 3rd stop on our Greece vacation. The location of the hotel was great walking distance to shops and restaurants and the main square. The service was outstanding as well, Maggie who works at the dome restaurant (breakfast) deserves a raise. She is wonderful to deal with and always has a smile on her face and works very hard. The pool is nice as well and Mariah at the pool bar is great and makes yummy drinks. The rooms are okay I guess but definitely need a little bit of an update. We stayed on the first floor near the lobby and it was very loud throughout the night and were always getting woken up.

I recently spent 5 nights at Daedalus Hotel and it was absolutely top-notch. This hotel provides everything you need for a perfect vacation. The highlight of the hotel is the swimming pool and sauna, which offer breathtaking scenery. Additionally, the hotel provides a free breakfast, with amazing, helpful, and friendly staff.

The hotel's location is very convenient, situated in Fira, the capital of Santorini. There is a nearby bus stop that provides easy access to popular destinations such as Oia, Akrotiri, Kamari, Perissa beaches, Paraygos, and many more.

The reception staff are very accommodating and can arrange various activities for you, including reservations at recommended restaurants, cruise trips, kayaking, snorkeling, cycling, and sunset trips.

We visited Santorini for our 25th anniversary for the first time. One minor disappointment was not being able to take flying dress photographs, as these need to be booked before arriving in Santorini. Make sure to check for available dates in advance to avoid missing out on this unique experience.

Overall, I highly recommend Daedalus Hotel for a memorable stay in Santorini.
