I like everything about this place. Kostas is super host and also very nice, friendly and kind person. location is great beds very comfy price super low water very hot quiet area big and cosy lounge area available washing machine and dryer each 4 euros per use. There is everything you might possibly need in the hostel. If you choosing a hostel you know the deal but here this is special . Thank you...
A wonderful Place to figure out the magic of the area around. Nice Rooms, clean bathrooms and friendly people who care about you. In the evening there are fresh cooked meals for a cheep price. I would come again. If you need something, just ask the friendly owner. M. from Germany
I was here for two nights on my recent Balkan trek. Not only is it a great, and inexpensive place to stay when visiting Meteora, but also for meeting people. To start, the hostel is very clean, with comfortable beds. Each bunk had their own plugs for your electronic devices, and had privacy curtains. The bathrooms were a good size and I never found them crowded. I also found the hostel had very nice...
This was really a fun place to stay. Kostas is a wonderful host. He spent a lot of time talking and joking with his guests. Everyone feels welcome. Kostas says he hates goodbyes--well, we all hated to say goodbye to him. The kitchen is well-supplied with equipment for just about any cooking you would like to do in a hostel. The common area is cozy and inviting and is set up to encourage interaction...
Very clean hostel with a reasonable price. Sue was the MVP at gathering all residents to get to know each other through some activities like family dinner, check-in orientation. I met wonderful people during my stay. One of the best hostel/travel experiences that I have ever had
A hostel with very helpful staff that will assist in planning your stay in every detail. Dorms are comfortable with thick duvets and clean bathrooms. Hot water ran out at night and in morning. Kitchen is will equipped, would be helpful if salt/pepper and tea and coffee were provided.

Excellent location, in the centre of the city, near to the train station and the intercity bus station. On the opposite sidewalk there is a stop for the public bus that goes to Meteora and in the surrounding area there are plenty of restaurants, steakhouses, coffee shops, patisseries, supermarkets, as well as other shops and services. The rooms and the other areas are clean. The beds in the dorms are...
THE Best hostel!! Great location, ckean, comfy and everything you need. If you cant find what you need, Stella & her husband will get it for you! They are Súper nice! All the little details were so important...cold water fountain, shoe holder, wet wipes in the bathrooms, appliances, coffee, sugar, huge lockers, etc. JUST GREAT!!
I stayed here for one night to explore the Meteora Monasteries. The direct train from Athens leaves 8.30am and arrive in Kalambaka around 1pm. The hostel is a 5 mins walk from the station. The hostel owners were so knowledgeable and helpful on how best to do the hike up to see visit the monasteries. I had planned to share a cab with other travellers staying at the hostel, as the owner recommended...
No doubt the best hostel I have ever been to. The land lord and the lady are very friendly and supportive. The rooms are very cosy and welcoming. The bar is also awesome. I will definitely recommend this hostel if traveling solo or with friends. All the visiting places are easily accessible from the hostel. @Stella thank you for having me as your guest.
This is a great hostel. It is centrally located, so walking distance to everything. Stella and her husband do a wonderful job. The hostel is SPOTLESS, there plenty of hot water and the beds are comfortable. It is also very safe. Stella was a great help in showing us how to use the local bus system to access the monasteries and hike through a canyon with in credible views to get back to town. She even...
This is a great little hostel, in a very central part of town close to bars, restaurants and shops. It's also a good location to hike up to the Monasteries as the main hiking route is close by. My hosts were super friendly and very welcoming, they spent a lot of time giving me advice about the area and where is best to view the Monasteries, opening times and other tips. A friendly environment in the...

Nice , cosy rooms. It was super clean and warm. Only if there was a place to have drink or eat something could be better in this place. But old lady was so kind and smiley
Very good location, extraordinar view, exceptional clean room and very nice host. I recomand!
I really liked it there! The host is very friendly and it's very cozy. Everything was clean, and the heating worked well which was important for my winter visit. Very close to the way to Meteora monasteries.
The room was very clean an nice, the beds were comfortable and the host is lovely. Very calm during the night, perfects view from the therace and the WiFi worked very good. I can recommend it to everyone
Nice location, many restaurants around, walking distance from Kalambaka, simple but cozy rooms with air condition, very friendly owners who shared fresh fruits with us everyday, you can but there cold beverages, good value for money, close to Meteora. Amazing view from the balcony!

Guest House Elena
Kalambaka, Konstantinoupoleos 15, Kalampaka 422 00, Greece 🧭 Map
This guesthouse was ideal. The location was within minutes from the monasteries and its location was in the shadows of the cliffs. The house was clean and nicely decorated. Some of the rooms had a view of the cliffs. A small kitchen was located downstairs. The friendly and considerate owners lived onsite. I would stay here again.
The suite we booked was beautiful, especially the large and tasteful bathroom. Balcony with exceptional view of the meteors! Easy and free parking in front of the hotel, a little out of the city center but hey it's still easy to do on foot. Small downside we never saw the hotel staff and everything was managed by the adjoining hotel (even the breakfast). Too bad. To book anyway without hesitation to...
The room is not big, with two beds, one large and one small, suitable for a family of three. The hotel is not far from the Sky City attractions. It takes about ten minutes to drive there. The overall environment is pretty good.
This guest house is an absolute gem. Elena is a phenomenal host. She upgraded us to the junior suite which has one of the best views in the entire world! The location can't be beat. Meteora is a very special place in the world that everyone should experience in their life. Thank you very much for all the hospitality. We will absolutely recommend it to all of our friends and family.
It was a stylish, spacious and elegant room. The location was great near the entrance to the hiking course to Agia Triada Monastery, and the service was good, such as being able to keep my carry case after checkout. The only amenities such as shampoo were difficult to use, but Greece may be like that everywhere.
The location, directly on/among the magnificent rocks, is naturally beautiful, not far from restaurants, etc. A double room with a view of the Meteora means you can see the rocks, but not much of the monasteries, and it's a bit dark due to a tree in front of the balcony. The decor is trying to be shabby chic. The small bathroom, however, is really old and not really in good condition. For the same...
