Kalambaka, Kanari 5 🧭 Map
Visiting Meteora was amazing. This was out of the main town by 5 minute drive but the whole city is small. The cliff are right outside your room. Very very clean and new bathroom!! Highly recommend.
Great value hotel perfect if you are in and out of meteora to sight see. No frills but clean, great shower and very economical. No market or tavern really close but everything you need is under 5 minutes in a car.
Immaculately clean, great condition, very friendly and helpful staff (who speak English! :)
Nice location nice, email first to check the descr
Good accommodation with a stunning view of the monastery. Free parking outside. Disappointing that the room did not include a washer/dryer as stated in the description. Very misleading the way it was written as it did not say it was an optional charge of €20 and was carried out by the hotel. The person on reception was rather rude regarding this even...
everything was perfect. location is super quiet and close to the town’s center (includes parking spot right next to the entrance), room and service was flawless. the lady at the counter even helped me giving me instructions to visit meteora.
We loved everything about Alsos House. The staff was friendly, our room was large and clean and our balcony view was amazing.

The pros: location is great and we had a balcony facing the monastery so it was a lovely view. The room and washroom were clean and the staff and food were very good.
The cons: no wifi on the rooms, we had two twin beds pushed together instead of a queen bed and most importantly, this may sound crazy, but I felt very unease on my room. Just had a creepy feeling about it; saw, heard and felt a couple...
A lovely family hotel. Very friendly atmosphere. The whole town was great, and all of us on tour went away with great memories. The monasteries truly have to be seen to see some unbelievable buildings, and to be lucky enough to actually visit one was a special experience. The night-life provided some nice restaurants, and dancing venues.
We stayed a week in this magnificient, luxurious and welcoming Famissi Eden Hotel at the new hotel wth 9 apartaments. The location half way to the Meteora, the view of Meteora in one side and the beautiful sunsets over Pineios River Valley give this place an added value that can rarely be found in other hotels. The elegant and spacious Deluxe rooms of our apartment #504 were designed to exceed our...
The hotel is a cab ride from town . Offers breakfast and a buffet dinner, no lunch . Be prepared to come into town . Cab was 4 €. It is a place to stay but nothing fancy. I would not rate it 4 stars. Wine selection was very basic. There are two little chapels on the back of the property that are very nice.
I stayed at the Famissi Eden Hotel one night. The staff is helpful and kind. The room was clean (except for a slipper that wasn't ours left under a table... the room had a view of the garden with swimming pool, clean bathroom but unfortunately the shower glass didn't close completely. Rich dinner, not excellent but suitable. I would go back !
We stay at Famissi Eden Hotel yesterday night. Very friendly staff. The Breakfast is fantastic. The room 112 is so fantastic. The view from my Room is fantastic. Very Good Value for Money. Free Parking.

Kalambaka, Kastrakiou - Meteoron 🧭 Map
The Meteoris was a very good option for our visit to the Monasteries. Staff is very welcoming and offers maps and suggestions for the visit. Rooms are very clean and AC is great!
Property was great! The only issue I had was that the beds were quite firm, so my sleep wasn't great. But no other complaints!
The view from the balcony is amazing, and the breakfast was a great plus. The room was very nice, but could use some TLC.
Not bad with cleanliness and parking. I recommend eating at the tavern "all time". It's 300 meters below
Everything was perfect. The room was comfortable and had a beautiful view. The parking lot is a bit small, but you can park easily around the back. The only thing I'd like to point out is that we didn't have breakfast, although the website indicated it could be booked there. The shower is a bit narrow, and since the curtain doesn't reach all the way down, some water spills out.
It is located in the quieter and more secluded village of Kastraki than Kalambaka, and the Meteora Monastery is just a short walk away. All the staff were very friendly and made my stay comfortable.

Kalambaka, Trikalon 144 B' 🧭 Map
The hotel is very nice and locate 8-10 min walk from the center and traine station or 15 min walk to bus station.
Reception helped me to book local tour right after I arrive the hotel, very helpful.
The hotel is in a great location, right at the entrance to Kalambaka. The room is very clean and comfortable, and you can see Meteora from the balcony. The hotel front desk also recommended several places to visit and eat, which are all very good and practical~~
Clean room, good breakfast, good service
Stayed at this hotel while visiting the area. It's in a great location, on the main road of Kalambaka with wonderful views of the rocks. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly and they offered a lovely breakfast.
I visited and stayed at this hotel as part of my Meteora thrones trip.
The hotel is very well located in the town and served by friendly and welcoming staff.
However my room was outdated and the bathroom was very dark and shower did not work properly. But I understand they are currently renovating/updating the rooms.
Overall a good hotel for 1 night stay.
The air conditioning is not working good enough and it its realy hot. The receptionist try to gaslighting use telling use its working. In the day after there was other receptionsit and she was really nice and said sorry for her college behavior.

Kalambaka, Trikalon 103 🧭 Map
At our round trip we did look forward to this location in Kalambaka. The surroundings are breath taking. The location of the hotel is good right at the entrance of Kalambaka, but to be honest, the hotel itself was disappointing. At our arrival at the end of the afternoon we were welcomed by a female receptionist with the name Antigoni. She was very helpful and very service minded. A big compliment...
The hotel upgraded our room halfway up the mountain. The environment is better, the view is better, and there is a parking lot. Great
Nice rooms. Make sure to ask for the ones facing the rocks. Very good location, handy for restaurants and bars. Walking distance to train station and bus stop.
Exceptional staff. They are eager to help when needed.
The only minus point is that the hotel accommodates coach parties. It can get hectic and chaotic at times. Door slamming by unruly guests can be a nuisance. Perhaps something can be done...

Classic 80's hotel. clean and tidy rooms. bathrooms a little small, but for a regenerating shower and for a pair pf night, more than enough. Breath-taking view. excellent hotel for those of not too many pretensions

Everything is good for traveling alone.
The hotel location was not bad, but the room was very small. I stayed for two nights, and on the second day, when I asked for two bottles of water, they said to buy them at the mart. I was embarrassed. I thought it was because it was so cheap.
The front desk staff was often absent at the announced check-in/check-out times. I saw a guest wandering around in his car after arriving at around 8 PM. The...
Lovely location, easy to go to town and everywhere. The only problem is the tiny bathroom. You must be skinny, otherwise need to step into shower area, then close the bathroom door. Shower curtains was too short. All water on floor when shower. Could not put bath mat in the bathroom.
Beautiful surroundings and complete facilities
Stayed for two days. We liked everything. The room is quiet, you can sleep well. Everything you need is nearby.
Didn’t really enjoy our stay here. The breakfast finishes at 9:30am which is quite early. When I asked the staff if they can wait a little longer since my friend is busy with something else and couldn’t come down for breakfast just yet, the lady simply answered “no. We close at 9:30”… I mean this is a hospitality industry, you could think for your customers a little bit more to provide them a different...

San Giorgio Villa
Kalambaka, Kastraki 🧭 Map
Nice staff, big and nice room! The breakfast was very simple and quite disappointing, with moldy tomatoes. The area around was nice and calm and walkable. Excellent guesthouse with helpful staff.
Excellent family run small hotel. Has "budget" in its title but it is truly perfectly good in all aspects. Friendly staff and service.
A very homie place where youre welcomed as soon as you walk in with staff. Look forwsrd to going back again!
We had overall a great stay at San Giorgio Villa. Very close to the monasteries, close to the village and we could walk to the restaurants. Good breakfast every morning and the personnel was kind and helpful.
Unfortunately on our first night the A/C did not work and we could not sleep, it was 30 degrees in our room. We were switched to another room with a functional A/C for our second night but were...
Perfect location, clean facilities, cool rustic design. The host was friendly and helpful.
Great location, and local tour operators can pick you up from this location. Several good options nearby, as well as a playground for kids.

If I could, I would rate much more than 5 stars.
We stayed for 2 nights and ate in the guesthouse’s restaurant.
The staff was so nice, the rooms are super clean and welcoming, the food is so tasty.
1000/10, really!!
Great place with a perfect location to visit the monastery. Owners are really friendly and helpful. We had a puncture and the owner help us all morning (on a sunday!) changing the tube of our motorcycle tire.
Motorcyclists do visit this place you can park safely in front of the guesthouse and have a great lunch at their restaurant.
All the best to the owner and again thanks a lot for your help and...
Rooms need a little updating to retain their character. Staff really welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Location is in the older more traditional part of town with great views and a busy Friday farmers market.
A very good place amazingly well placed so close to the Meteora Rocks.
And a tasty taverna on ground level.
Kalambaka ... Actually rocks !!!
We have some drinks and burger, orange pie and musaka. Food was very delicious. Boy who's served us was very kind and simpatico. Everything was so fine.
Happy friendly family business that shares your interest to discover the area. Very helpful to provide you their local secrets of Kalampaka, where to go, where to have lunch, brunch and dinner! Pure Greek hospitality! As it concerns the rooms are clean and well decorated! Hope to see you soon!
