Very clean hostel with a reasonable price. Sue was the MVP at gathering all residents to get to know each other through some activities like family dinner, check-in orientation. I met wonderful people during my stay. One of the best hostel/travel experiences that I have ever had

A hostel with very helpful staff that will assist in planning your stay in every detail. Dorms are comfortable with thick duvets and clean bathrooms. Hot water ran out at night and in morning. Kitchen is will equipped, would be helpful if salt/pepper and tea and coffee were provided.

For some reason hostelworld isn't letting me review so I thought I'd review here instead! Fantastic hostel, stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. The hostel is well equipped with every bed having a socket to use and curtains on the below beds for privacy. Kostas the owner is very helpful and friendly and gave great advice on how to hike up to all the monasteries and where to take some great pictures...

One of the best hostels I've ever been in. It's clean and has a very well equipped kitchen. They also have a girl-only bathroom and offered to help myself with the towels. What I liked the most is that the bottom beds have a little curtain, so even though you're in a shared room you can still get some privacy. I would definitely stay there again!

I would give the Holy Rock 10 stars if I could! My room was clean, the bathrooms were nice, the air conditioning worked, and towels were provided. The kitchen was also well-stocked. To be honest though, the accommodations are quite standard - it’s the people that make this hostel so great! Kostas and the volunteer staff were all friendly & helpful, and the lounge area facilitated great conversations...

The best hostel experience, so much so that I felt I should leave my first review on Google. Dora does a wonderful job at making the hostel feel like an extension of her home. Her cooking is very nice too. We had a lot of volunteers during our stay so everything was clean.

Originally booked for 3 nights but had to extend because of the truly great experience I've had here. The rooms have everything you need and for a great price. Dora was an amazing and caring hostess, plus a very good cook. Rooms were clean and comfortable, as was the bathroom, with a nice hot shower. A great place to stay when you are in Meteora.

I stayed for a week and the hosts were very open and kind. The hostel is on top of a beautiful old stone building with a terrace and an outdoor kitchen, views of the mountains. Dora, the owner cooks a delicious breakfast with many courses of homemade pies, eggs, her own feta, tomatoes and grapes. The location is exceptional.

What makes this place so amazing is the host. We've been traveling for over 9 days now & stayed in 5 different hostels in that time. This was easily the best host. She farms her own ingredients, serves you until you can't eat another bite, and even helped negotiate a sunset drive up in the mountains with a local shop owner. Excellent location, in the centre of the city, near to the train station and the intercity bus station. On the opposite sidewalk there is a stop for the public bus that goes to Meteora and in the surrounding area there are plenty of restaurants, steakhouses, coffee shops, patisseries, supermarkets, as well as other shops and services. THE Best hostel!! Great location, ckean, comfy and everything you need. If you cant find what you need, Stella & her husband will get it for you! They are Súper nice! All the little details were so important...cold water fountain, shoe holder, wet wipes in the bathrooms, appliances, coffee, sugar, huge lockers, etc. JUST GREAT!!

I stayed here for one night to explore the Meteora Monasteries. The direct train from Athens leaves 8.30am and arrive in Kalambaka around 1pm. The hostel is a 5 mins walk from the station. The hostel owners were so knowledgeable and helpful on how best to do the hike up to see visit the monasteries. No doubt the best hostel I have ever been to. The land lord and the lady are very friendly and supportive. The rooms are very cosy and welcoming. The bar is also awesome. This is a great hostel. It is centrally located, so walking distance to everything. Stella and her husband do a wonderful job. This is a family-run hotel, owned and operated by the family. The hospitality was exceptionally warm, and the owner took a great deal of time and showed a lot of patience in giving us local recommendations for places and experiences we would never have discovered on our own. The breakfast was excellent, and I will recommend this hotel to friends if they travel to the area.

Hotel rural muy corriente . Ojo con reservar la habitación interior es agobiante . El agua caliente tarda mucho en salir y el desayuno regular aunque son productos griegos . El personal es encantador y la localización magnífica con parking gratis en la puerta

Hotel Meteora was a bless to stay in. The rooms were quiet, modern and well equipped. The bathroom very clean and beautiful authentic finish. Dimitris' hospitality is the biggest plus of this hotel. We got tips for our trip around the Meteora and found them in quiet places without too many tourists, discovered a beautiful hike and saw a wonderful sunset. I would so do it again and recommend it to anyone

Posizione ideale per dormire a Kalambaka. Stanze non grandissime ma pulite e fornite di tutto anche con un terrazzo attrezzato. Dimitri, il proprietario è persona accogliente e cortese. Colazione abbondante. Ci ha consigliato anche un ottimo ristorante.

Loved the place. Clean, comfy beds. You’re the closest to the uphill hike. Shower is a bit small but rooms are beautifully decorated. Staff is polite and helpful.

We booked this place because of its reviews and it deserves every good review. The view from the window is stunning but that pretty much applies to most of the places in Greece and any place in Meteora, kalabaka. Clean, quite, warm decor, great location and free coffee: what not to love.

Very quirky hotel which is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The only complaint would be the shower curtain which doesn't function very well but wasn't a problem. The owner Demo is extremely helpful.

Bed and Bath were little uncomfortable. But the location of this property compensated for everything. It is situated right at the foot of the mountains. Had a balcony in the room from where we had the direct view of the Meteora mountains. Lovely sight. It was a decent stay overall. B'fast was okay with some fruits and fresh juice and bread. Overall it is value for money. Would definitely recommend...

Beautiful place. The rooms have an antique look and we're clean and maintained. Didn't expect it to be this good for that price. Location is okay, you don't have much of a view.

Brilliant. Great location at foot of Meteora monastery summit complexes, comfortable clean rooms, good breakfast, great hostess. Rare to find a guesthouse/B&B that exceeds your expectations. The Guesthouse Papastathis in Kastraki does!

Excellent location near the monasteries. Property is clean and has a local vibe. Beautiful garden and views of the monasteries. We had some ant issues in one of the five rooms we booked. Owner/manager seemed aware of problem but did not respond to correct problem immediately. Breakfast was continental and owner not very hospitable or flexible with timing of serving coffee and breakfast.

Very nice hotel. Friendly owners. Great views. Located in the end of the village but only 5-10 mins on foot from the centre with the tavernas. Ideal if one wants to do the monastery tour on foot

Its located in Kastraki, 5 min from Kalambaka by car. Clean rooms, good breakfast (5€) and excellent location near to the Monasteries. The owners Mr. Anastasios and his wife are very kind and polite!
