The location of the resort is good, directly on the sandy beach, 5 minutes with car to aquarium and dino park, 15 minutes until airport and capital of the island, everything is very near

The restaurants were very good, so we arranged all reservations before arrival, its easy from the website, and enjoyed all of them

The staff and customer service helped us with our requests. Themed restaurants were delicious, and eating your breakfast by the sea is a vacation within a vacation. Great shows and entertainment

My husband and i had a wonderful experience at Mitsis Rinela. I highly recommend Sea Front view room, we had an incredible view ans a lovely balcony to enjoy wine from free mini bar at evenings

The location is perfect, the beach is 5 meters away from a gorgeous small sandy beach with crystal clear water, the rooms are spacious and they clean and change towels every day! It is quite and relaxing atmosphere with the best breakfast that is from 8-11 so you can wake up early or just sleep more and go to enjoy the awesome pancakes on with sea views right next to you!

A clean hotel, with a variety of breakfast dishes, suit's etc Think that you are near by the beach ⛱️ , you have good restaurants next to the hotel

The hotel is great: big rooms, every room cleaning, extremely helpful staff! Big terrace next to the sea with gorgeous view fir breakfast. Breakfast is traditional Greek food - big and tasty

Rooms are extremely big with a nice terrace. The hotel has its own beach, and a lot of sun beds next to a swimming pool. The hotel is pets friendly so you can come with your dog 😊

Quiet town, just what we wanted, but great public bus service to more lively Stalida and Malia too

There is a cove that is good for snorkelling about 3 minutes walk from the hotel where you can see many types of fish amongst the rocks. Heraklion is well worth a visit, only 20 minutes by bus

I didn't realise how many stray cats there are in Crete and if you are an animal lover it does pull at your heart strings a bit, but the locals do put food out for them

At the hotel, there is plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner and the mousaka and Greek salad was good

It's quite windy at the moment so we found the sea isn't flat enough for paddleboarding unless you like the waves. The staff are lovely and friendly

Wellllll where to start? I will start by the bed cause, after 9 days in Crete, that was the best bed we had. My wife and I both said that in the morning 😂

Niice rooms, good beds, a delicious breakfast. The pool was very nice to swim in or you can go to one of the beaches. Really great and helpfull staff. I really enjoyed my holiday there as part of my roundtrip on Crete.

We stayed here for a night and it was wonderful. The room was big enough and had a little terrace. The breakfast the next they was complete and super tasty. we had parking in the hotel and was super close to the beach.

Rooms were lovely, beds were comfy. The pool and facilities were always kept clean, Maria and Kostas were so friendly and made us all feel like family, they really went above and beyond! Would highly recommend!

Thus we were recommended the Inn by Estia that luckily had a room available. The hotel is recently refurbished and is very beautiful. We had a smaller room but with high ceiling and a balcony towards the pool

It was a little out of the way if you have walking issues as the beach and bars restaurants etc are 1km away. The WiFi is excellent and the Aircon is very good

Cannot fault the service at this lovely little hotel. Maria and Manos, were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Marina who cleaned our room was very good as well

Limited things to do in gournes. Need to get a bus which are cheap but sometimes full , so can be a long wait. rooms adequate, what you would expect for 3star , kettle would be good

The Erato Hotel is a small hotel near the beach and the sea with only 31 rooms, an outdoor pool and a table tennis table. The atmosphere between the guests and the staff is very familiar and very pleasant

The sea is very very close, 2 mins away - just take the small path that is behind the hotel (building 2) and take a right and a left and you are there

We are here with the family and enjoy the spacious apartment in the complex, which has a typical village character. The pool in the sister hotel Erato (3 houses further) can be used, the beach of Gournes is 1 km away

The meal is also taken at the Hotel Erato. There is a buffet with Cretan specialties in the morning and in the evening. You can sit comfortably in the hotel tavern - in the evening even under the open sky

Great area, great holiday! I can only recommend these newly renovated rooms and suites. We felt very comfortable here with the family. The rooms offer everything you need for a relaxing holiday

The atmosphere in the hotel is very familiar and cozy. Gournes is ideally located to explore the diversity of the island by rental car. There is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel

Excursion possibilities with children: Seaquarium (directly in the village), water park Watercity (3 km), Knossos, excursion to the beaches of the south coast (rental car)

The best food you can get from 12:00 to 18:00. there was a stand with gyros, pizza, pommes, and burgers. Really good🤤 What is also important that the ride from the airport to the hotel takes about 15 minutes

She had the time of her life in all different swimming pools with slides. Rooms, open areas, pools and restaurant were getting cleaned all the time. The open buffet tasted nice and quite some variation

We had a week in Gouves Water Park Holiday Resort from 04 to 11-09-2024. Very happy with the service and friendliness of all staff. Literally all staff was very kind for our 2 year old daughter

We were surprised most of the cocktails were made with alcoholic beverages of very well known brands. We didn't like the wine though. Both checking in and out went quite smooth

My husband and I love Greece 🇬🇷 a lot, our favourite restaurants are Greek restaurant in Germany 🇩🇪, so we decided to go there as our honeymoon 👰🏻‍♀️ 🤵🏼‍♂️ so Crete was the best option and we chose Sol Marina beach hotel, one of the best one based on what we read, and based on what we experienced 😍, very friendly employees, so clean, tidy, and the environment is so beautiful

The hotel is so near to the beach 🏖 so I guess 50 meters! That is great 😊 we paid a little bit more to have the chance to have a balcony opened to the sea 🌊, the beautiful Mediterranean Sea 🌊 that was awesome 🤩 so we had lots of fun there 😍the quality of foods are good, everything was included, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and drinks, ice cream 🍦 so that was perfect

So if you haven't been to Crete before,best to know you'll need a car to explore fully. Hotel was lovely and staff were friendly

The location of the hotel is good, 20 minutes from Heraklion airport and on the sea front. The initial impression of the hotel was it is smaller than expected, but clean and well presented

If you are not a fan of crowded beaches, I recommend going swimming right across the road from the hotel. There is a small pebble beach, there are free sun loungers

The only thing you need to buy is special shoes for swimming, so that it is pleasant to go into the sea on the rocks. Overall, we liked everything 👍

Recently renovated with some might not finished details. Very comfy and huge room( junior suit) Swimming pool could be a bit bigger, but fair enough for refreshing moments

The stuff is super friendly and happy to help you any time. Katerina ( reception) very helpful, going to organize and make your stay enjoyable and simply unforgettable

Excellent hotel with a very nice and respectful staff. The barman from the pool, Vasilis, is very helpful and kind. Breakfast and dinner options are quite varied, with a good range of choices

Today was Greek evening in the restaurant and the food was superb. Lots of choice for vegetarians and lots of fresh salads with all our traditional favourites......and the sweets were to die for.

One of the best hotel for vacation we’ve ever visited. We expected average hotel, but to our surprise we experienced best vacation ever thanks to Blue Aegean hospitality. Hotel staff was honestly friendly and welcoming

For many food is the most important aspect and also for as “big eaters”. To be completely honest we’ve never experienced better hotel food. It was even better than the food in restaurants we visited

You’ll have true greek experience eating food in Blue Aegean. Beach is just few meters away from the hotel and is public, so you have to pay 7 euro for rent sun-beds

Everything was good, but food was above my expectations. I tasted fish, squid, octopus, and even snails. If you would like to taste them, just talk to the chef and he'll cook for you

At meal times you are literally spoilt for choice. We came here for the Greek food and we haven't been disappointed. The entertainment here is such an experience. I have never seen so many happy faces in one room

It was a bath and shower together something that is for me not done in a 5 star hotel. Furthermore the hygiene was not very good, there were some weird spots on the toilet and tap

Truly great hotel! Beautiful, neat, clean. We have half-board ourselves, so only breakfast. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, 2 of the 3 restaurants are closed and you can only use the evening buffet

The best thing about this hotel is the family that runs it - Michalis, Ursula, Jenny and Manos. They are welcoming and super friendly. We were there for a month and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay

everything is very well organized, gouves is a very family-friendly place, if you want to go to another city and don't have a car, that's no problem, the bus stop 15 is right outside the door and you have great connections to iraklion or malia
