Had an amazing stay at anemos. Rooms were lovely, beds were comfy. The pool and facilities were always kept clean, Maria and Kostas were so friendly and made us all feel like family, they really went above and beyond! Would highly recommend!

Nice little hotel with good service. It is situated near busstop to Heraklion but I think a rentalcar is needed to go to better beaches and to discover the island. car rental from hotel was very uncomplicated and easy. I also liked the dinner because it was always different traditional greek food.

Wonderful Small Hotel, the rooms were big and immaculately clean and a huge king size bed. Family run hotel, who really do look after you. Food was good, breakfast was continental. Visited some friends who were staying atvthese apartments. They were delighted with the refurbishment of the rooms and facilities from last year. Everything looked fresh and new. This hotel was basic and cheap, which is great if that’s all you want. However, the food was not great; there wasn’t a big choice, the chef clearly can’t cook eggs (the omelette and scrambled eggs were SO rubbery) the salad bits were nice though. I have been coming here for several years and always found the same warm welcome. Not to speak of the super convenient location not far from the airport for overnight stays. The recent refurbishment is a welcome upgrade too. My only regret is that the snack bar has given in to the regrettable requirement for. Pizza and burgers instead of Greek food. It was OK. Room quality excellent but if you are used to 5 star resorts then this won't on its own make up for the other shortcomings. No true a la carte dining and the lack if waiter bar service in the main bar area acts as a reminder. Queuing for evening drinks is a negative that sticks in my mind.
