Last day of our 1 week holiday today so thought I would write a review to praise the amazing staff at Arina Beach. We stayed in the maisonette with pool. 3 teenage kids upstairs in 3 single beds (with their own showerroom) and my husband and I downstairs in a kingsize bed with our own showerroom (very small). We had a fantastic stay at Knossos Beach! The food was very good. The Service did a great Job, staying very attentive, kind and helpful all the time. Only (very small) disclaimer was the Sounds of the Planes due to the proximity of the Airport. We highly recommend to book a room with a Cabana - it's absolutely worth every Cent!

We were upgraded to a bungalow upon arrival but couldn’t find the cabana reserved for it anywhere on the beach. The food was good at the buffet. We like to eat outside, but we were overwhelmed by the amount of cigarette smoke at almost every meal.

Good location right on the beach, pool ok but very cold water, the sea was warmer I think… Busstop just a step away on the mainstreet that takes you straight to Heraklion or if u like to Agios Nikolaus. Quiet small hotel across the road from the sea. Without any frills, for a relaxing family holiday. The sea is shallow, but wavy. The rooms have a kitchen with the necessary minimum of dishes. There are not enough sockets, including in the kitchen, on the kettle and electric tile one outlet. Entertainment, except for the sea and a couple of bars with cocktails / hookahs, there are no any.
