Best hotel for your summer vacation. Very nice rooms, stylish design of the whole hotel. Beautiful beach and a ton of options for food. This was a very enjoyable holiday thanks to the brilliant team in the hotel

The proximity of the beach to the hotel was very convenient, allowing us to easily move between the pool and the sea. It was an ideal spot for both swimming and lounging

The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, offering all the comforts we needed as a family. The facilities were top-notch, and the kids loved the pools and the beach

The staff and customer service helped us with our requests. Themed restaurants were delicious, and eating your breakfast by the sea is a vacation within a vacation. Great shows and entertainment

My husband and i had a wonderful experience at Mitsis Rinela. I highly recommend Sea Front view room, we had an incredible view ans a lovely balcony to enjoy wine from free mini bar at evenings

Speaking of the beach—it was simply stunning! The soft sand and crystal-clear water made it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunshine

Order drinks and food to your loungers at the beach (this part was sometimes hit or miss) Booking reservations at restaurants and spa treatments speaking with front desk see menus gets a massive thumbs up for convenience! The service is well above expectations all staff that you encounter are so friendly! The room is clean and well kept and the house keepers are so kind

The beach is so clean and they take fantastic care of you at the beach bar. The ocean is the perfect temperature. There is some seaweed in the bay but that is only on the shore line which is to be expected

Personal preference for when I do come back and I definitely will The spa suite with private heated pool and sea view. The sea view is restricted as it’s set back and has buildings to the left and right

Perfect sea! A beautiful gentle entrance to the sea, there are breakwaters that make a holiday at sea ideal. On the beach there are plenty of cabanas (for a fee), sunbeds and umbrellas

Spacious rooms, delicious food, live music, quality drinks, beautiful nature. Each room has its own place on the beach, so you don't have to worry about not having enough space

Great pool, bar and the taverna serves stunning Greek food! This is paradise next to the sea, I would highly recommend staying here to everyone! :D

Great rooms, very friendly staff and so close to the sea. Taverna has lovely homemade food for evening meals. Was so lovely to sit and hear the waves lapping against the sea wall. Would highly recommend to anyone

Small family-run hotel with perfect location right on the beach. Full sun all day even if north-facing. Nice sunsets. Nice breeze from the sea. Friendly staff. Clean rooms with AC.

The beach next to the hotel is clean (there are enough sun loungers and umbrellas). The great advantage of the hotel is its location (a few minutes by bus to Heraklion)

It's quite windy at the moment so we found the sea isn't flat enough for paddleboarding unless you like the waves. The staff are lovely and friendly

We really enjoyed staying here. The views are amazing and it was great being so close to the sea, literally just down the steps

It was 30 degrees plus when we were there so it's a relief to have the sea breeze and to be able to cool off in the waves

There is a cove that is good for snorkelling about 3 minutes walk from the hotel where you can see many types of fish amongst the rocks. Heraklion is well worth a visit, only 20 minutes by bus

It was a little out of the way if you have walking issues as the beach and bars restaurants etc are 1km away. The WiFi is excellent and the Aircon is very good

I strongly recommend participating in the Greek night event, which is organized by the owner himself. We had a great time and we came back home well-rested

Meals adequate and warm, nice pool and bar area where you can buy drinks and snack food. Evening staff Maria and Manos are very efficient and helpful and make evenings at the hotel a pleasant experience

The Erato Hotel is a small hotel near the beach and the sea with only 31 rooms, an outdoor pool and a table tennis table. The atmosphere between the guests and the staff is very familiar and very pleasant

You can rent tours and a rental car (which is highly recommended in Crete to see as much as possible) of course in one of the many tourist agencies, but we found it very convenient that at our request someone came to the hotel and brought us a car

But most importantly, perhaps, is the ability to reach the seashore within a few steps and enjoy a breathtaking view

Very much friendly employess everybody working here was very friendly and nice to us. No dedicated sunbeds at beach but it's only a few steps away so staying at Pool sunbeds and walking to beach everytime works

The sea is very very close, 2 mins away - just take the small path that is behind the hotel (building 2) and take a right and a left and you are there

Really cute hotel, with a very family atmosphere. Really very nice staff, and the rooms are big and clean! You really feel very comfortable! The only drawback is that you can hear the arriving planes, especially at night

The staff is very friendly, welcoming and always helpful. The food in the evening was very delicious and we appreciated that each evening there was something new to taste

We found that having a room by the pool is generally more quiet that a road one

A nice an cozy hotel near the beach. Very peace with helpful staff. Just we were attacked by mosquitoes. Overall, it was nice to be there.

Near to the small nice beach, breakfast is good. But be ready to the attack of hungry mosquitos at night. May be low pressure of the water on the third floor must to be managed. But at all, it is very peaceful place

Our rooms were located in the adjacent building Almare Beach, 2 minutes walk away from the Main facility. Pretty decent rooms, very tidy and clean, air conditioning is available, too

The beach is 10 meters away from the hotel and there is also a swimming pool with a bar where you can spend lazy afternoons sipping cocktails. To sum it up, we really got very good value for the money

We are currently spending our 1-week holiday here (we booked Sunset Beach Hotel, but this hotel belongs to the SHotels group like Almare Beach Hotel)

The safe inside the room was in a closet and not build in, so if someone broke in, they could just take it and run off with it because it wasn't particularly heavy. Other than that, we had a lovely time

The food was OK, we definitely never had the feeling we were starving, also the staff was really nice. The only thing I would list as a negative is the room safe situation

Staff is very friendly and accomodating; the service is pretty good. Especially the guy named Onisimos, who knows your wish before you even express it

The apartment was beautiful, clean with plenty of room, storage and beautiful views from roof top veranda. The location was very close to the sea front and many tavernas and beach front cafes and bars

The beaches nearby and along most of the North shore of the island are usually close to the main road and in the landing path for the airport and often packed full with droves of sun seeking beer swilling rabble so I would advise traveling to the south of the island by car if you wish to find peace and quiet

The service at Kri Kri was second to none. George and Jenny who run it are superb hosts. They attend to every need and more. The pool was lovely and the evenings at the bar were great

There are bars, restaurants and a carrefour supermarket within walking distance in Gournes and is only around a fifteen minute drive from Heraklion Airport

Great Central location on Crete and very reasonably priced. It is also nice and quiet and set far enough away from the main tourist traps

Lovely villa with bbq that served us well on our last night. Right next to the sea and a 5 min walk from all the tavernas/ restaurants and sandy beaches

The villa is situated in an excellent position near the sea with views all around. We had wonderful sunrises and sunsets. There are some lovely restaurants nearby and a little supermarket

The villa was very spacious with everything we needed and was kept wonderfully clean. Every room has air conditioning, which was great. He told us about all the good places to visit and eat

The pool and jacuzzi were just amazing! The villa is only 10m from the sea and a clean and quiet beach can be reached in just 3 minutes on foot

Me and my friends came with 9 people and it was no problem to put up an extra bed! The villa and the view were magnificent. You had a 270 degrees lookout on the sea

The maid even helped me Iron some clothing, she was the sweetest lady ever! The pool is also awesome! It’s a shared pool. Which was even more fun we met some great people and had a couple great days with them
