Aelius Hotel and Spa

I booked a thirty minute back, neck and shoulder massage with Silvana for 60 euros. The ambiance in the room was calm and peaceful. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. Silvana did an amazing job. I felt every muscle and bone pop which was painful in a good way. She also massaged my hands and arms and that was very good as well. Afterwords I felt less tense and very relaxed. 10/10 recommend!

The place was lovely and well maintained we had a swim up room (highly recommend) the hotel provides fresh towels on a daily basis, you just go to the spa and replace them. At the swim up pool there is water with fruit and a zingy lemon drink which is free 😊 we only went half board but the shops are 5 mins walk and you have a mini fridge in the room so we bought water, coke and lager and loads of layz 😂 The rooms were cleaned daily if you wanted this, we did as coming in and out of the water the floor got dirty. Food was lovely but buffet so the same however there is 2 restaurants either side of the hotel and you are only 15 mins walk to the sea front. The staff were all lovely, Nena in the restaurant was gorgeous, we would definitely go again!! 😍

Silvana was absolutely amazing. Me & my sister in law came for a 30min neck & back massage with a complementary 15min additional massage which we opted for legs. Silvana was extremely friendly and made sure all my needs were met before finishing. I would 100% recommend Silvana to others. Thank you once again :)

We had a wonderful stay at the Aelius Hotel and Spa. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile, especially Nena who was full of life and so upbeat and made sure we had everything we needed so that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Vasiliki the barmaid, was fantastic! She was quick, efficient, and made the best drinks. She remembered everyone and kept the atmosphere lively and fun. She was a real pleasure to be around. Infact all the staff were exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The hospitality we received was exceptional. Buffet options were excellent with lots of choice, i particularly enjoyed the salad bar with lots of fresh produce and loads to choose from. The hotel is located about a 15 minute walk from the beach but the hotel offers a frequent shuttle service to and from the beach. 3 Stunning pools with lots of sun beds. We were able to do a few day trips whilst on the island with pick up from the hotel. This hotel is exquisite. Elegantly decorated. I highly recommend it. Our visit to this hotel was very enjoyable

The hotel offers excellent facilities with an indoor pool and two outdoor pools. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets impressed with a diverse selection, even if the fish and seafood options were perceived as a minor flaw. The room was always clean, and the reception staff provided impeccable service. We were particularly impressed by the waitress Nena, who delighted us with her attentiveness, friendliness, and helpfulness—your table "four-and-two."

We had the most fantastic time at Aelius Hotel and Spa — it truly exceeded our expectations. We stayed in one of the swim-up rooms, and it was absolutely worth every penny. It made the whole experience more fun and relaxing, especially with the sun shining every day. The buffet food was fantastic — fresh, delicious, and great quality with plenty of variety. The only small downside was not being able to get our own drinks at mealtimes, which felt a bit restrictive. That said, the staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, always happy to help. There were even cats around the resort, which added a lovely, homely touch! There’s so much to do nearby too — we went on boat trips, visited Malia Old Town (only about 20 minutes away), and explored local restaurants and shops. We highly recommend hiring a car, as it gave us the freedom to explore more of this beautiful island. Crete completely stole our hearts — we fell in love with the island and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing yet adventure-filled getaway!

Beautiful clean and relaxing hotel, welcoming and friendly staff, from reception, restaurant, bar and clean staff! Lovely food! Great choice! Loved every minute of our stay . Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely friendly smiley staff .

A very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean as the the hotel grounds. All staff are friendly and hard working. The food is excellent, the choice and quality was a highlight for me, healthy too which makes deserts a guilt free choice! There is always something for everyone with snacks by the pool bar too like pizza, pastries, ice cream. Pool bar staff are busy in the evenings when the entertainment is on so be nice and leave then a tip! Pools are kid safe life guard on duty. You can walk to a water park just a few minutes to the back of the hotel and beyond that down to the beach road which I recommend especially for sunset which is stunning. Take care on the roads though some places there is no path but not too busy with cars. There is a bus stop close to the hotel and easy to but tickets or pay on the bus by card, for day trips to heraklion etc which are well worth it to see some of the history. There's a natural history museum great for kids with life size dinosaurs and a lot of interactive science and nature. Shopping for adults of course and a Starbucks for coffee addicts.
