A very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean as the the hotel grounds. All staff are friendly and hard working. The food is excellent, the choice and quality was a highlight for me, healthy too which makes deserts a guilt free choice! There is always something for everyone with snacks by the pool bar too like pizza, pastries, ice cream. Pool bar staff are busy in the evenings when the entertainment is on so be nice and leave then a tip! Pools are kid safe life guard on duty. You can walk to a water park just a few minutes to the back of the hotel and beyond that down to the beach road which I recommend especially for sunset which is stunning. Take care on the roads though some places there is no path but not too busy with cars. There is a bus stop close to the hotel and easy to but tickets or pay on the bus by card, for day trips to heraklion etc which are well worth it to see some of the history. There's a natural history museum great for kids with life size dinosaurs and a lot of interactive science and nature. Shopping for adults of course and a Starbucks for coffee addicts.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was immaculate though shower wasn't as powerful as the one at home (when are they). Food was varied and fresh. Such a relaxing and calm hotel.

Hotel needs a little bit of TLC, staff nice, not enough tables at the dinner, have to wait someone to leave. Otherwise nice and tidy. Good pool.

So if you haven't been to Crete before,best to know you'll need a car to explore fully. Hotel was lovely and staff were friendly. I felt there wasn't enough of anything when the is busy, like sunbeds, chairs by the bar, food in the restaurant etc. A few local shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby and a beach but if you need more this hotel might not be for you. Perfect if you just want to chill out in the sun.

This is an absolutely amazing Spa Hotel! Little bit further from the sea, but they have beach shuttle. Relaxed happy atmosphere! Nice range of spa treatments (extra pay), yoga and pilates classes (extra pay), evening entertainment. They have range of rooms, including the swim-up rooms. Staff surprised us with bottle of wine in the room for my birthday, and offered us an upgrade for last 2 days stay in a bigger and swim-up type room. Breakfast are great, massive range of foods to choose from and live cooking. There are families with kids too. Best hotel I stayed in.

In general it is good - very good and nice staff, they work very hard from early morning till late nights here! Thank you for great service!!!
However there is a BUT - rooms are not so clean... there is lots of dust on the lamps, shelves etc... looks like there is no time to clean this up properly, maybe to many guests and short staffed. Management should maybe invest more into cleaning, especially now when we have pandemia.
Food - perfect, very tasty and fresh! I love Cretan corner :-)

DO NOT BOOK IN SUMMER!!!!
We should be in this hotel right now… but we are in Gouves Waterpark… in a suite next to the baby pool… this hotel was overbooked!
They pomised us by arrival that it would be only for two days… now it’s three days … no appropriate room is available… we booked as a family the family suite with 2 bed rooms now we are offered a junior suite with one bedroom or tomorrow two double rooms.
Is that appropriate???? After so many problems a DOWNGRADE?!
In the hotel we are now staying in we were fist put in a old very dark and dirty room after we claimed that we were able to change rooms. At first sight the room is better BUT THE BATHROOM IS UNBEARABLE!!!
Old stinky water is coming out of the sink and THE PROBLEM COULD NOT by a technician.
Three out of our 10 days are now gone with so much headache!
Not talking about the interior which is not compartible to the stars this hotel holds in.

Together with my wife we spend a week of all-inclusive here at the end of June 2021. Highly recommended. The rooms (we booked the newer part) were stylish, comfortable and clean with direct entrence to the pool from private terrace. Quiet at the pool area we used. Staff is friendly and competent, speaks many foreign languages. Food was really good, everyone should find a dish for himself. Gouves as a town itself is dissapointing but Lavris Hotel makes a perfect, comfortable base to relax and explore the whole island.
