THE CONCEPT OF "ALL INCLUSIVE":
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner, with cooking demonstrations in the main restaurant (07:30-10:00, 12:30-14:00, 18:30-21:30);
- hot and cold snacks (pizza, salads, pasta, sandwiches, toast, French fries, fruit, etc.), coffee and snacks in pool bars (10:00-17:45);
- Mediterranean lunch (12:00-14:30) or Greek dinner (19:00-21:30) — buffet in the tavern on the shore, the necessary reservations for the reception;
- dinner menu at a Chinese restaurant (18:30-23:00) - reservations at the reception;
- non-alcoholic and alcoholic local drinks and some imported alcoholic drinks, cocktails, coffee/tea, water in restaurants during main meals and in bars at different times (up to 24:00);
- early Breakfast and lunch with a prior reservation is required 1 day at the reception); when returning late you can have dinner cold snacks in main restaurant;

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive to every detail. The check-in process was smooth, and my room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the view from the window was stunning.
The amenities were top-notch — especially the breakfast buffet, which offered a great variety of fresh and delicious options.
One of the highlights of our trip was the Cuban show in the evening. The music, dancing, and energy were simply unforgettable! The performers were so talented, and the vibrant costumes and live band created such a lively, authentic Caribbean vibe. It was the perfect way to end a fun-filled day at the park.
The Disney shows made us feel like we were part of the story — everything was colorful, fun, and full of joy.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The level of service and comfort made my stay truly memorable. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to friends and family!

My fiancé and I stayed here for 1 week at the start of October. Mitsis Rinela is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are beautiful, modern and kept immaculately clean. The rest of the hotel is also beautiful, reflecting the same standard of upkeep. The Reception and main restaurant is a little dated in decor in comparison, but again, immaculately clean. The sun loungers are luxurious and comfortable, with plenty availability, and the views of the sea are beuatiful. We found the swimming pool to be a little cold, but I suspect this was just that we were late in the season. The food at this hotel is delicious, especially the Italian and Steak restaurants. Location wise there are a few small bars, restaurants and shops to visit within walking distance, but most other things require a bus or taxi. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which takes you directly to Heraklion. All the staff are extremely friendly and caring, but a special thank you to Katerina, head of house keeping, who went above and beyond. I had an accident on our first day which required x rays in hospital (absolutely no fault of the hotel). Katerina was at my side whilst waiting for medical care, and was waiting for me when I returned from hospital. She continued to check on me daily and we are so grateful for her care. The hotel staff also could not do enough to look after us, calling my mobile every day to check I was okay and moving my room so that I didn't have to walk as far. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will be looking to return in the future.

Warm welcomed, the guest relations and concierge ladies were lovely, in general the whole front office team. Our room was amazing, modern and clean, every day our mini bar was refilled and the room was being cleaned spotless. The food was good but Steak was amazing. We loved the pool but the beach was wow! Sandy and clean! Felt nice having lifeguards to watch on us. We had a great stay!

Mitsis Rinela exceeded all my expectations! The serene and beautifully designed surroundings instantly put me at ease, making it the perfect escape. The staff here is absolutely wonderful—always smiling and ready to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Our room was a dream—spacious, bright, and immaculately clean. The main restaurant has something for everyone, with a fantastic variety of options to suit all tastes. We also had the chance to dine at the Taverna, which was a delightful authentic Greek experience. On our last day, we tried the Italian restaurant, and it was the perfect way to cap off our holiday—delicious food and a lovely ambiance. I’ll definitely be back for another stay!

One of the best hotels in Crete! The environment and design make you feel so relaxed and safe. Staff is amazing and always there smiling and ready to assist. Rooms are clean, luminous and spacious. The Main Restaurant has various options that may cater all kind of preferences and needs. From the a la carte restaurants, I tried the Taverna, which was a lovely greek dining experience and on my last day, I ate at the Italian, which honestly, was the best closure for my stay! Definitely coming back!

I had a mixed stay for our honeymoon, I found all the dinner and service staff really lovely and the cleaners were really good, however there is a massive negative which really ruined our stay, the air conditioning which was advertised was set to heat mode for the first 5 days of our trip… despite complaining each day and being told it will be fixed tomorrow… it was not changed to cooling mode for 5 days, this really effected our sleep as it was so hot in our roo, they would not move us to a different room and just told us to put up with it… really disappointed by this otherwise I feel it would of been a lovely stay…
Complained afterwards and was not offered any kind of compensation or refund on the stay. Also the area around is not that great I would recommend staying somewhere near chanai.

This hotel has the most stunning setting of any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The main pool is especially gorgeous. Their all-inclusive meals were high quality and dining room service was great. Bar service was a little slow during happy hour time. We couldn’t check in until an hour after check-in time which was slightly inconvenient; looking back, it would’ve been helpful to unwind somewhere on the property and get a text when our room was ready. We did get upgraded to a suite with a swim-up pool attached to our terrace, which was lovely. This was a nice place to bring our toddler. It felt family-friendly but sophisticated, too.

For the price we paid, I expected a much better experience. The food was terrible, and the air conditioning in my suite didn’t work. I reported it to staff three times, but no one ever came to check it out.
I upgraded to the family suite, and unfortunately, my sister-in-law, who is half Black, felt extremely disrespected by the staff. They completely ignored her requests to the point that I had to step in and ask on her behalf.
To make things worse, the makeshift bed downstairs had fleas. We later realized that the sliding doors are often left open, allowing stray cats to come in and lay on the couches—we actually saw this happen one night when it rained.
Overall, this stay was disappointing and definitely not worth the money.

My siblings and I had a pleasant stay at Mitsis Rinela. The rooms were extremely comfortable, clean, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The restaurants had a wide variety of food to choose from, and there was entertainment on every night we were there. Definitely a hotel to stay at during a visit to Heraklion.
