We had a fantastic stay at Knossos Beach! The food was very good. The Service did a great Job, staying very attentive, kind and helpful all the time. We were upgraded to a bungalow upon arrival but couldn’t find the cabana reserved for it anywhere on the beach. The food was good at the buffet. We like to eat outside, but we were overwhelmed by the amount of cigarette smoke at almost every meal.

This is an excellent location for a tranquil break. Good food choices with lots of flavour. There was always space around the pools and the beach was easy to access. What a stunning hotel! Calm. Peaceful. I stayed in one of the apartment suites overlooking the ocean. Staff always go out of the way. Easily the best hotel/resort we have ever stayed at. We had our wedding at Amirandes and also stayed for a few nights. The whole wedding planning process was seamless thanks to their professional staff. You can see how luxury the hotel is right from the main gate entrance. We will definitely go back again!

Other than the architecture of the lobby and entrance area and the good natured staff, it was the worst stay I have ever experienced. They sell u the room as luxury sea view and you pay over euro 500 a night for a run down room. Food is mediocre, WiFi doesn’t work, and staff are ill trained to handle customer demands. This is a euro 200 a night at best.
