It was OK. Room quality excellent but if you are used to 5 star resorts then this won't on its own make up for the other shortcomings. With my wife and son we spent a very enjoyable week at Marina Beach hotel. The room was clean and spacious, the swimming pools well maintained (my 4 year old son loved the kid's pool), the staff were very nice and helpful and the kid's entertainers were fantastic. Absolutely loved it there.The service was excellent and so friendly. The whole place was clean and the food was fine for us. The area of gouves is relatively quiet but that was perfect for this break. Would definitely return. Only complaint is the towels on every sunbed with no one to be seen. This is an excellent location for a tranquil break. Good food choices with lots of flavour. There was always space around the pools and the beach was easy to access. What a stunning hotel! Calm. Peaceful. I stayed in one of the apartment suites overlooking the ocean. Staff always go out of the way. Easily the best hotel/resort we have ever stayed at. We had our wedding at Amirandes and also stayed for a few nights. The whole wedding planning process was seamless thanks to their professional staff. You can see how luxury the hotel is right from the main gate entrance. We will definitely go back again!

Other than the architecture of the lobby and entrance area and the good natured staff, it was the worst stay I have ever experienced. They sell u the room as luxury sea view and you pay over euro 500 a night for a run down room. Food is mediocre, WiFi doesn’t work, and staff are ill trained to handle customer demands. This is a euro 200 a night at best.

One week Half-Board stay, food pleasant, drinks somewhat lacking (don't ask the bartender to show you his own creations). Old town is very close by and has a good selection of restaurants and basic amenities. Pool ice cold (maybe good or bad) Shower leaked all over floor but otherwise room great and cleaned daily to a high standard. Staff all charming and happy to help

Recently stayed there with my sister. Enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The manager Maria was very accomodating. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from Old Hersonissos where there were same amazing tavernas. The dinner buffet was varied and tasty. We enjoyed the Greek dishes included in the menu.

Just returned home from a weeks holiday, agreed the hotel is beautiful but can only be described as 4 star+ not a 5, grateful to have been given a small swim up pool on the balcony but every day the smell of the drains was so bad! Rooms are newly refurbished to a Greek standard. Generally fresh and clean. Staff are excellent and couldnt help us enough with our toddler. Stayed here in May half term 2024. Awesome place. The water park section kept my 13 and 11 year old entertained for hours. Food selection was great and the sports facilities were excellent also. We would definitely come back.

Huge hotel complex, great food, however the fish restaurant could be better (grilled stuff had weird taste because the grill probably hasn't been washed for some time). The stay at Lyttos Mare was just wonderful. The food was really nice and the service overall was just fantastic. The rooms with individual pool are superior and come with some extra benefits. Evening program was always funny and entertaining. The only thing you should be aware of is that the allergies deceleration on the buffet is not always correct. Better ask in case of allergies.

It is one of the better large-scale all-inclusive resorts that I have been to. The rooms and the service are just what I expect from this kind of resort. There is a high variety of food on the various buffets, and given the scale, the food quality is very good. The hotel is great for families with kids.
