It was OK. Room quality excellent but if you are used to 5 star resorts then this won't on its own make up for the other shortcomings. No true a la carte dining and the lack if waiter bar service in the main bar area acts as a reminder. Queuing for evening drinks is a negative that sticks in my mind. The local area is sparse too although being close to Heraklion airport was a positive.

I had a 7-day all-inclusive stay. I can say it was wonderful; the food was very tasty and varied. The rooms are clean and spacious, and it’s not a long walk to the beach where there are enough sunbeds for everyone. Great place for a family holiday. I would recommend getting a room with a pool patio otherwise you may struggle for a sun lounger. Easily the best hotel/resort we have ever stayed at. We had our wedding at Amirandes and also stayed for a few nights. The whole wedding planning process was seamless thanks to their professional staff. You can see how luxury the hotel is right from the main gate entrance. We will definitely go back again!

Other than the architecture of the lobby and entrance area and the good natured staff, it was the worst stay I have ever experienced. They sell u the room as luxury sea view and you pay over euro 500 a night for a run down room. Food is mediocre, WiFi doesn’t work, and staff are ill trained to handle customer demands. Just returned home from a weeks holiday, agreed the hotel is beautiful but can only be described as 4 star+ not a 5, grateful to have been given a small swim up pool on the balcony but every day the smell of the drains was so bad! Rooms are newly refurbished to a Greek standard. Generally fresh and clean. Staff are excellent and couldnt help us enough with our toddler. Stayed here in May half term 2024. Awesome place. The water park section kept my 13 and 11 year old entertained for hours. Food selection was great and the sports facilities were excellent also. We would definitely come back.

Huge hotel complex, great food, however the fish restaurant could be better (grilled stuff had weird taste because the grill probably hasn't been washed for some time). The stay at Lyttos Mare was just wonderful. The food was really nice and the service overall was just fantastic. The rooms with individual pool are superior and come with some extra benefits. Evening program was always funny and entertaining. The only thing you should be aware of is that the allergies deceleration on the buffet is not always correct. Better ask in case of allergies.

It is one of the better large-scale all-inclusive resorts that I have been to. The rooms and the service are just what I expect from this kind of resort. There is a high variety of food on the various buffets, and given the scale, the food quality is very good. The hotel is great for families with kids.

It was all very average i guess. Me, my fiance and our daughter stayed here for a week, all inclusive and paid extra for our own pool which backed onto our room.
