They were very lovely and helpful and we really appreciated the room after a 9 hour delay at Heraklion airport, followed by a cancelled flight and then a 2 hour taxi to Chania. We needed somewhere not far from chania airport and this place fit the bill perfectly. The staff were friendly and the room adequate. A short walk into the small town centre for food and shops and 15 minutes walk down a steep hill to the harbour and small beach, frequented by locals more so than tourists. Recommended for an airport stay

A nice and quiet place. Really enjoyed it. It's built near the area of Saint Onoufrios. Houses contain all the comforts including pool , TV , grill , beverages and coffee . Staff is really friendly. A small oasis 10 minutes away from the city of Chania. Thank you.

Brilliant villas, fully airconditioned with amazing swimming pools and close to chania

Very nice place and good service

Loved the location near a very nice and romantic small beach and fishing harbour. There was en excellent taverna as well. The property had everything you could wish for, with two good sized bedrooms, a large private pool, a terrace a bit out of the wind overlooking the sea and distant shores. We will be back! This is a fabulous villa which far exceeded expectations. Everything about the house exudes high quality, class and taste. It is well decorated with very comfortable furniture and the house and grounds are impeccably maintained. We had a group of 10 and always had ample spaces given the very spacious house and grounds. The pool is unusually long for a private home, with 14 lounge chairs, umbrellas...

We were looking for a villa for 9 of us in 3 groups and this villa basically three apartments was perfect for us. It’s all really up together, well equipped and really clean and tidy. Wonderful villa with a unique decoration from the Zaira shop and a unique design by the renowned architects of Chania, Mr. Varoudakis. Delightful is the outdoor area of ​​the pool, which is also available to enjoy your meal. Don't miss the wonderful outdoor massage area. Ideal location too, as it is close to the city, the airport, but also to the wonderful beaches of Akrotiri.

Amazing place just outside of Chania. Had a lovely week stay. It has everything you might wish and want, you can tell the owners put a lot of love into the place and really care about their guests. Really good value as well. Only thing that I could think of that could be better is the location but it only takes 15 minutes to get to the center of Chania or the airport. Would definitely recommend this...

Luxurious, beautiful, impeccably designed villa, close to kalathas beach.

Luxurious and spacious. Nice beds. Good kitchen. Wonderful pool. Beautiful garden. The neighbourhood is quiet. It is the perfect getaway spot, or an excellent base of operations for roaming around in Chania. Recommended for multiple couples, or a large family.

Creta Vitalis lives off its rented cottages. The hotel is basic but clean. The breakfast falls into the same category. The noise insulation between room and corridor can be improved upon. The taxi drivers have the tendency to charge from the airport the same rate as if going to Chania.

Me and my mum spend 4 nights at this hotel. In my opinion the place is worth the price. Beautiful gardens, stunning flowers with romantic paths. Hotel is situated close to nice beach and good-size swimming pool with comfortable sunbeds ;) Room is just about with everyday clean bathroom, fridge and new TV ?. Breakfast is ?. But if you looking for some sausage and black pudding you won't find it...

We visit Crete yearly. This hotel is an absolute must for us. Unsurpassed Service, Safe, Clean, 3 Beaches are minutes by car, Many lovely rooms to choose from, Pool, Traditional Cretan Atmosphere, Close to All Amenities, Bus Route within 100 m. , 15 minutes from Chania or Airport! We love it here?

Attended a wedding here two weeks ago and it was the best venue I have seen. The views are unbelievable and must be seen. Would highly recommend this place to anyone searching for a wedding venue.

We’ve been travelling a lot in the world but I must say the staff at this hotel as amazing. Iro and Mari are so nice and helpful. We had an amazing time there. The breakfast was really nice, the restaurant too. We had sea view rooms which is a must . We would definitely go back there. The sunset is beautiful

Lena Beach Hotel is a hidden gem. Stunning location and truly excellent service from all the staff. The shared areas of the hotel are so well maintained and the dining area, terrace and pool area are beautiful. The rooms are basic but clean and functional. It didn't bother us at all but if you like a touch of extra quality in your bedroom furnishings then maybe not for you.

Stayed here for two nights during my and my wife's anniversary trip, and they helped make it amazing. Mary was so helpful in giving us ideas on where to go to get out and have some fun. They had outings available if you wanted, but that is not my wife's style, we had rented a car ( they can help you with that) They also have a breakfast bar, which will start your day off well. We stayed at Lena Beach Hotel for three nights and we really enjoyed our time there. The staff was very helpful and kind, always happy to help. We liked the breakfast very much. It was diverse, tasty and fresh. The pool was great, and there is also a beach near by with some shadow.

This is a nice hotel - staff is friendly, location close to Kalathas beach (2 min walk) with rooms having a terrace overlooking the sea. Breakfast is fantastic, buffet-style served on a large terrace overlooking the sea. Room is decent size. There is private parking of the hotel, which is handy. The complimentary bottle in the fridge is much appreciated. A couple of downsides - pillows are really hard...

Room 21 has a great view, was cozy and clean. The owners were very friendly, they give you the feeling of being home. We found it really nice being welcomed with a bottle of wine and getting water every single day. Location was good, but reaching the center you need transportation (bus stop directly next to the hotel, with car it is a 10 min drive).

Check in was amazing, we were told there is free breakfast, free coffee and treats all day, a bottle of wine in the room. Spectacular location, room, views, food, drinks and service. The staff and owners (including Ragis the Boston Terrier) really went the extra mile to make sure this part of our honeymoon was extra special. One of the best hotels we have stayed in, with the most wonderful view from our room. The breakfast that we ate by the pool each morning was unbelievable. Staff are incredibly friendly and always go out of their way to accommodate any request they can. Olympia to be specific made our whole stay just that extra bit special. Super modern rooms with great views. Excellent service with a special mention to front desk Chris. She was incredible and helped to plan our itinerary and addressed all our questions with a smile she was the highlight of the hotel. The only downside is the noise from other rooms and the Air conditioning was not great. Overall a solid four out of five.

Yes, the hotel is out of town but we knew about this before booking - so please research the area to avoid any disappointment. Besides, the higher up you are, the better the views. All round, perfect hotel for your stay in Crete. Bear in mind, we had our own rental car, this place is about 10min drive from old town Chania. We took the room with the private pool but with garden view however the view with sea view is spectacular. Our stay at Royal Sun was wonderful. We enjoyed very comfortable rooms, nice pool area, excellent breakfast and dinner in Michelin-class restaurant The Hill with an amazing view over Chania city. The free transfer service to Chania Old Town and back (shuttle bus goes every 30 minutes) offered by hotel is definitely a plus! Instead of having three, the hotel is absolutely worth four stars.

We arrived at the hotel and didn't regret it for a moment. It was worth every euro, the hotel offers a lot - car rental, transportation to the city and back, breakfasts, and a restaurant that is open from morning until night (also very good). We went there during the off-season. There were almost no shops open around on Sundays, but the city center was a half-hour walk away and it was quite lively. The air conditioning in the room did not heat the room, the balcony was large, and there were not many types of breakfast.
