Kriti Hotel

The location was great, very close to the harbor and all around the old town area. The breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent . Room was clean and the bed was big and very comfortable

Enjoyed my stay here! Clean rooms, enough space for what you need. Great location, 10 mins from the centre, but also a quiet location away from noise. Pleasant staff. Decent breakfast options. Would recommend.

I stayed in kriti Hotel for 2 nights. The room was very good. The only problem was the noise from the air system especially during the night. All the hotel staff are very polite, they're always smiling and ready to answer all your questions. The location of the hotel and the parking spaces around it are worth it. By far one of the best hotels in Chania.

Beautiful and clean rooms in the heart of Chania where we could walk to the main centre and the Port. Breakfast was amazing and the pool was perfect! Had a wonderful stay. Thank you to all the staff who were always very helpful.

Great place to stay by the port. Walking distance to most everything. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. They even give you a pillow menu, outlining your choice of pillow selections for your comfort. Bottle of Greek liquor and peanuts are complementary in your room, too. I have stayed on two occasions. Highly recommend this hotel.

Chania is beautiful, lots of lovely restaurants along the harbour and the Old Town. Kriti hotel was wonderful, weather perfect, a fantastic place all round

Great hotel. Ideally situated and close to all amenities. Fantastic and friendly staff, including room service, reception, and bar staff. The swimming pool is free to use for hotel guests. Spotlessly clean hotel.

Brother and I stayed in this hotel as part of our Jet2 holidays package with separate rooms with a sea view. We were dropped off early from the transfer shuttles around 1330 way before check-in. I asked the reception team if possible to buy drinks from their bar while we wait for check-in and advised absolutely. I was called back by them to check over my name to see if rooms were available then, which they weren't and was advised when rooms are available that we would be called forwards. We were called forwards at 1420 to check in as rooms ready, where everything was explained to the pools, breakfast, WiFi, and local taxes paid on check out. That was a super nice touch and started our first ever visit to Crete in an awesome way.

We had separate sea view rooms, it was fabulous with the balcony I could sit and appreciate seeing great views. The art above the beds is a nice touch. Clean and comfortable. I loved the olive based toiletries in the bathroom. They worked wonders on my hair. The welcome fruits, Raki, and peanuts were really a nice touch. The kettle and coffees came in useful for me, too. Housekeeping was polite and friendly, I liked the red/green door thing to use to inform housekeeping when you were laying in and then out (I figured that out later on in my stay). I enjoyed the live entertainment from the open-air place opposite from my bedroom balcony. It was great to see Greek culture and music on the stage. The barman at the hotel often knew who was playing and updated when asked, which added. The latest finish was 2330 on the events, so never interfered with sleep.

Breakfast was lovely, I enjoyed the brown bread toasted, with the selection of cheeses and some eggs a couple of times. The coffee was lovely tasting, thank you. Started the day right with that. I liked seeing the selected cereals and other pastries and fruits as well. Nice touches.

In terms of location, it is great. The sea is a stones throw away with a lot to see. You are a small walk away from the Old Market, the Venetian Lighthouse, Port, Maritime Mueseum, Nea Chora, Chania Gardens, etc... central to so much. Loved that. The 3 excursions I had booked in advance were either picked up from outside the Kriti hotel or up the road from the Old Market bus stop about a 7-minute walk away. Which was fantastic and made Elafonisi, Prevali, etc.. less stressful to visit for the early morning starts.

The swimming pool was nice. It's not big, but it definitely serves its purpose. We used it for an evening swim from 7pm ish, where most of the time there were hardly anyone there until the pool closed at 8pm. Was often used to end a busy day and wind down. Was lovely.

After our swim or long day excursion, we would often visit the bar and enjoy the food on offer there as well and drinks. Once the pool closes, the barman does sort out the things left poolside, where you could chill and really look through the menus before ordering or go back to your room for a shower before eating. We conversed with 2 barman, mainly Vagelius and Alexandros, who were awesome. I often tried getting some Greek phrases right, where I was helped with that. Vagelius was happy to help and enjoyed helping me learn. It was great. True credits to your team. Thank-you. The food was nicely made and enjoying some other local drinks like Lyra as well. We additionally stopped by as the barman really did bring a nice chilled vibe to it, which was key into relaxing and enjoying it all.

Looking forward to staying at The Kriti Hotel again in the future and thank you all for such a nice stay. Every hotel staff I met were friendly and welcoming just to add. Thank you.

Great hotel, friendly helpful staff and curtious, breakfast was very good overall, pool good but could have had 6more sunbeds. Rooms are small and lacking storage for clothes. But overall a very good hotel. Chania is hot and buzzing. Great holiday...
