Carisa Hotel

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. The family that runs the hotel was very welcoming and sweet, and the service was also a highlight, which made us feel comfortable from the start.
The location was convenient for us since we had a car to get around. The rooms were on the smaller side, but they were cozy, and everything worked as it should, so we had no problems there.
The pools and the surrounding area were fine, though not the biggest ones. There is also a very small fitness area—we didn’t even notice it at first.
The highlight was definitely the bar, where the boys were serving excellent drinks, especially the mojito.
Overall, it was a quiet place with not many guests, which made for a relaxing stay. We would definitely recommend this place to others

A lovely place just a short taxi from the main tourist area though there are plenty of beach front restaurants within 15 mins walk. The hotel is family owned and it's all very chilled. Nothing like the resorts we've done on the past which is great, had the pool to ourselves a lot of the time and you're literally 5 mins walk of that from the beach. Clean, safe and recommended.

STRONGLY RECOMMEND:) Had an amazing stay. Clean rooms with AC, clean sheets and towels every 2-3 days. Great service by all staff, really friendly and helpful. Less than five minutes walk to the beach. Three pools and a kids pool, all clean. Plenty of loungers and umbrellas. Amazing pool bar with lots of great food and cocktails. Nice and strong and with a happy hour deal every evening as well! Recommend the club sandwich, gyros and Greek salad especially.

Just returned from a 2 week holiday here. The hotel is located on the quieter side of the resort so perfect if like us you enjoy a relaxing time without the loud bars and too many people. The hotel is run by a family, the mother (the boss!) looking after things with her two sons on bar duties. They are all lovely people and went out of their way to look after us and did not disappoint. The room was quite spacious and had everything you need. It is a relatively small hotel unlike some of the others such as the all inclusive hotels near the seafront which frankly looked horrendous and this is the perfect place to chill out and forget about the normal day to day routine. It is situated around a 10 minute walk from the beach so if you like to go in the sea it is not a massive trek. There are a few very nice restaurants nearby all within walking distance. There is also a pretty good local bus service so if you want to have trip out without the hassle of hiring a car you can do that easily. So in summary, very nice hosts, very friendly and relaxing and would definitely recommend and return ourselves.

We stayed in this hotel for 14 nights and the only sad part of the trip was to leave the place. I travel for work, and I have stayed in multiple hotels around the world, and I know how hard it is to find this kind of a place that makes you feel like home. The owners were so generous, service-oriented, hospitable, kindhearted, and willing to walk an extra mile and more for their guests. The hotel is modern, very clean with beautiful garden and multiple pools. The AC and good shower in the rooms. Peaceful location and no traffic to disturb your sleep.

Maleme - where the hotel is situated is a beautiful, idyllic, peaceful neighborhood, still close to more busier places like Platanias, Agia Marina, Chania. For us it was a perfect oasis to relax and explore the West Crete.

We rented a car which made it easy to explore the surroundings (Elafonissi, Falasarna beach, Georgioupoli etc.) I also recommend going to inland places like Theriso to see beautiful gorge/mountain areas. We also enjoyed the public beaches in Agi Apostoli, like Iguana beach.

Everything was clean, with towels and sheets changed every couple of days which was just spot on. The manager and her team were all lovely and friendly, which then resonated through the guests. We love this hotel ❤️! If you want great value for money, a quiet hotel a bit away from the busiest tourist traps, and warm and friendly service, then this is the place for you!

We stayed for week in October, and as family of four, we chose the two-floor apartment with two balconies. We had the best time, enjoying our breakfast on our shady poolside balcony, and playing with the kids in one of the three pools.

We were sad to go, and would love to come again some time!

Nice hotel with 2 storey 3 bedroom 3 bathrooms appartments. In a quiet area but shops and restaurants are a 15 min walk away.

Good hotel. No restaurante, breakfast was nothing to brag about. The staff though, very friendly and helpful. We had a problem that the fridge in our room don't work, and they replaced it the day after, with a mich smaller version, but enough for what we needed. It was Orthodox Easter Sunday, the day they did it, so hats off for that. The WiFi was bad. It was ok on the common areas but not in the room. We had to use it in the bathroom to have a decent connection. Although the staff said a technician would fix it, it never happened. It ended up costing a bit, as o had to buy extra data som we could use the internet in the room. Cleaning almost everyday, although towels didn't get changed. Other than that all good. The location isn't the best but it's close to the action. 3 pools, and not enough stretchers, but it's not different from anywhere else. The room was great, has seaview, an extra room and 2 toilets, one with a tiny shower.
