Costa and Olga are lovely. Friendly and accommodating. I was looking for a quiet area with a pool and that's what I got. Close to the beach and shops with a few touristy things to see. What more could you ask for

Nice, clean and best value for money hotel (Olga Suites), located in a calm area with only 300m to the beach. The hotel is managed and driven by a super kind and friendly elderly couple which make it almost you feel like your own home.

The owner of the hotel is very friendly. He treats all his guests like a family. He is always there to help you with whatever you need. There is real reception and he waits for his arriving guests even till 4 am, because the plane was late. Hotel is very clean, and well taking care off. The beach is very close to this hotel- like 3 min walking distance. Close by is a market you can buy your own food...

The perfect place to relax and enjoy Crete. The family managing the place is very friendly, welcoming and full of love. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed everything in that place. I totally recommend the place.

The hotel and the room were clean. The room was big enough. There are 3 parrots in the bar area. Lots of trees on the hotel territory including mango trees.

We had the best time here on a working holiday, for 2 weeks. It’s 5 min walk from the beach and Platanias and Chania are easy to get to with a frequent bus. Chilling by the pool was our favourite pastime when not working. The food and the cocktails at the restaurant and pool bar were amazing and the staff George and Nick are incredible hosts with great chat. Futura felt like a home for us and the guys...

Beautiful gardens, pool and bar area set in a nice location near a good bus route to other popular attractions. Downside is that the food and drink menu is expensive and so is the shop which is situated on the premises. We used a little supermarket further along the road which was much cheaper. There were also many extra costs which added a fair expense to the holiday such as paying for the wi-fi,...

Loved my stay here. Would return. Two couples sharing the great Tikita apartment quite comfortably we enjoyed everything the nice friendly and accommodating host offered. Just don't tell them we sneaked a very tasty pomegranate from the tree. Good economical location for going in any direction on day trips.

We've just came back from vacation at this hotel and I couldn't rate it less than 5 stars. Rooms in the hotel and the area around are renovated and really clean. New beds and sofas that are really comfortable and we had better sleep than at home. All the people working there are extremely helpful and kind. Lovely small hotel with incredibly nice and fun staff. The restaurant is classic Greek and quite good. They also make great coffee variations. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious but they could use some refurbishment here and there. Everything else you could need is within walking distance.

Nice staff, good food and right on the beach. Bus stop about 1 kilometer away and the supermarket is close by. The rooms are ok but very warn down. The bar close fairly early. The beach is nice but bring bathing shoes, there's a lot of stones entering the water. Snorkeling not good.

Very nice staff, great food and clean rooms. Room service made cleanings every day. Room had all of equipment you need - oven, coffee-maker, etc. Nice and wide beach, quiet and clean territory. A bit bad Wi-Fi, you have to search a place with good speed. There is a supermarket nearby when you can buy everything you need. Great hotel for family rest, highly recommend.

We didn't stay here but we used their beach sunbeds and ate there in the afternoon every day, the meals were excellent and staff very helpful, the owner told us we were free to use the pool which was nice, the place looks very clean and well looked after.

Top Hotel with Nice service and every rooms have 3 balconys. Great when you dont want to live in a big tourist complex.

This place is very nice, it is not luxury but it is very clean and peaceful. Owners and stuff are really polite, we had problem with our rent a car agency and they tried to help us. Beautiful view and perfect location, it is right on the beach! We highly recommend this small hotel to everyone!

Just come back from a week at this hotel. The hotel is lovely and the staff are, without exception, excellent. They could not do enough for us and we loved our time there. I would recommend it to anyone.

Very nice to spend all day on the beach. There is a bar and restaurant, they cook very nice and tasty.. The staff care all day, very friendly... For 2 sunbeds and an umbrella you pay 6 EUR/all day. Till you have a lunch there, they dont count it. Really reccomend this place.

Amazing service and amazing people but most of all amazing location.. the beach is in ur back yard and youre surrounded by shops and restaurants!! Even tattoo shops and arcades! Simply perfect all around.

Suprisingly amazing! I went here with low expectations but I was wowed. The room: 10/10 big, spacey, bathtub, air conditioner, kitchenette, terrace, comfy beds. Interior decoration really shines Cretan culture. The parking: enough space and requires some accurate reversing as it is a small street. The pool: 8/10 not the biggest pool in the region but it is sexy with its boutique style wooden floors...

Nice room, felt safe. The cellar apartment was large and cool. No extra dishes, and no soap to make the dishes. But our maid cleaned our dishes for us.

Polite staff. Clean room. Plenty of hot water. *No parking, which can be a serious problem on high season. We definately recomend.

Hotel apt was clean and comfortable and staff is alwas nice and ready to help. Be aware the beach is not for children , it is really deep right after you step in the water. The beach is the gravel type!!! We had to travel 8 km towards Chania everyday where is sandy beach and calm water!!!

If you are there more than 7 days you will get tired of the breakfastbuffé let alone 7 days the juice ia barely juice and tastes very synthetic. We had a nice spacey room with sea view. We stayed there for one night, which was quite expensive, but for a family with kids this is definitely a place to visit. Very good bathroom and shower and good quality beds.

I was visit this hotel during a business trip . The staff was excellent and the hosts super friendly in an way that I was feel guilty to leave 😄. The facilities was really clean and the pool was big , clean and relaxing. the beach also was perfect and the sunset was magical in site. This is a wonderful family run place. I used to come here as a kid back in the 80s with my parents. Unforgettable memories! It was one of the first and few apartments for rent in Platanias believe it or not! Of course much has changed but having come now as a mid 40s something, it is still a gorgeous place and more suitable for a quiet and independent traveler audience who don't like big resort type...

It’s been a few years since our visit but we spent 2 weeks and liked it so we’re heading to Mariliana for 3 weeks this summer. The hotel is very clean, the beds are good, there are enough utensils to cook and the balcony also has decent furniture instead of plastic chairs. Location great close to amenities but quiet location. The pool is clean and of a suitable size.

Nice hotel, excellent placed by the sea. Only missed aircon in the gym, otherwise everything was perfectly fittet for a couples vacation, or a family trip with older children as well. The staff was super friendly at all times. Would definately reccomend this to friends.

The location of this hotel was a 5/5. The view is gorgeous and steps from the beach. We stayed in a renovated room and had no complaints about the room at all. We have visited Blue Dome many times. In May 2024 we had one of the new renovated rooms. The rooms had been renovated in a very restrained and elegant way. Every detail and color was carefully considered. The new air conditioners were of high quality, silent and well working.

Everything was great about our stay at Blue Dome. The rooms were very spacious, large balconies, the view was amazing, and the hotel itself is cleverly designed so you have a view of the sea from every room. Been here 4 or 5 times now and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else when visiting Platanias. Great hosts, clean and comfortable rooms, and a very nice pool area, including a small one for the kids. Highly recommended!

Modest but clean place. Very friendly staff. Location is very centered. Pool is with icy water, not suitable for children due the temperature. Upstairs rooms have to use street pavement to get there, this is not cool. Wifi is quite poor.
