We had a wonderful time (2 weeks) at Silver Beach and we recommend it without hesitation. The complex has several buildings with a few rooms each, so you don't feel crowded. The sea view rooms are right on the beach, those on the ground floor don't even need to use the door to get to. The extremely nice staff, Claudia and Eleni from the Beach bar, Maria from the reception and those from the kitchen, I apologize for not remembering the name of the lady (Stavra?) who was particularly attentive...

I have been traveling all my life, but I must say that I found one of the nicest places so far. The hotel is just perfect. Very clean, excellent food, fantastic service(Eleni in the pool bar:-) and could not ask for better location, far away from the crowds but also so close to the "action places". You got to talk to managers and even the executive chef is around during dinners to talk to the guests...

Great hotel. The food could be a bit better but it's buffet so understandable. Great staff, super helpful, especially the lady running the pool bar. Room was modern and clean. The beach is a mix of stones and sand. People giving the hotel a bad review because of the beach are a bit ridiculous.

Costa and Olga are lovely. Friendly and accommodating. I was looking for a quiet area with a pool and that's what I got. Close to the beach and shops with a few touristy things to see. What more could you ask for

Nice, clean and best value for money hotel (Olga Suites), located in a calm area with only 300m to the beach. The hotel is managed and driven by a super kind and friendly elderly couple which make it almost you feel like your own home.

The owner of the hotel is very friendly. He treats all his guests like a family. He is always there to help you with whatever you need. There is real reception and he waits for his arriving guests even till 4 am, because the plane was late. Hotel is very clean, and well taking care off. The beach is very close to this hotel- like 3 min walking distance. Close by is a market you can buy your own food...

The hotel and the room were clean. The room was big enough. There are 3 parrots in the bar area. Lots of trees on the hotel territory including mango trees.

We had the best time here on a working holiday, for 2 weeks. It’s 5 min walk from the beach and Platanias and Chania are easy to get to with a frequent bus. Chilling by the pool was our favourite pastime when not working. The food and the cocktails at the restaurant and pool bar were amazing and the staff George and Nick are incredible hosts with great chat. Futura felt like a home for us and the guys...

Stayed here 08/21 A modern clean hotel.Good pool and bar.Very friendly/welcoming staff.Bar food excellent and breakfast is continental all good quality but being British I did miss the eggs and bacon.Large one bed apartment with sea view very clean.Lots of steps around premises you need to be fit.A bit to far away from the restaurants and the stoney beach for us. Beautiful gardens, pool and bar area set in a nice location near a good bus route to other popular attractions. Downside is that the food and drink menu is expensive and so is the shop which is situated on the premises. We used a little supermarket further along the road which was much cheaper. There were also many extra costs which added a fair expense to the holiday such as paying for the wi-fi,...

Loved my stay here. Would return. Two couples sharing the great Tikita apartment quite comfortably we enjoyed everything the nice friendly and accommodating host offered. Just don't tell them we sneaked a very tasty pomegranate from the tree. Good economical location for going in any direction on day trips.

We've just came back from vacation at this hotel and I couldn't rate it less than 5 stars. Rooms in the hotel and the area around are renovated and really clean. New beds and sofas that are really comfortable and we had better sleep than at home. All the people working there are extremely helpful and kind. Very peaceful place, just by the beach, which is private, only the guests of the hotel use it...

Lovely small hotel with incredibly nice and fun staff. The restaurant is classic Greek and quite good. They also make great coffee variations. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious but they could use some refurbishment here and there. Everything else you could need is within walking distance.

Nice staff, good food and right on the beach. Bus stop about 1 kilometer away and the supermarket is close by. The rooms are ok but very warn down. The bar close fairly early. The beach is nice but bring bathing shoes, there's a lot of stones entering the water. Snorkeling not good.

Very nice staff, great food and clean rooms. Room service made cleanings every day. Room had all of equipment you need - oven, coffee-maker, etc. Nice and wide beach, quiet and clean territory. A bit bad Wi-Fi, you have to search a place with good speed. There is a supermarket nearby when you can buy everything you need. Great hotel for family rest, highly recommend.

We didn't stay here but we used their beach sunbeds and ate there in the afternoon every day, the meals were excellent and staff very helpful, the owner told us we were free to use the pool which was nice, the place looks very clean and well looked after.

Nice place. Pebble beach with a sandy seabed starting in ca 1m as you enter the water. Possible to snorkel in 10-15m from the shore to see colorful fish. :)

The hotel was lovely with plenty to keep the kids entertained. We had no issues finding sun loungers and in a group of eight that is not always the easiest task. The food at the snack bar was lovely although we found the buffet breakfast slightly disappointing. The biggest let down was that upon arrival the glasses in the cupboards hadn't been cleaned but otherwise the rooms were spotless

Love the hotel. Great location if you don’t want to be in the middle of town. Good food in the restaurant and the staff in the restaurant and bar are very kind and friendly. The staff in the reception was very welcoming and amazing. Especially the evening receptionist Constantine and the night watch Demitri, always up for a joke and a conversation. Will definitely be back next time i am in Crete.

This place is very nice, it is not luxury but it is very clean and peaceful. Owners and stuff are really polite, we had problem with our rent a car agency and they tried to help us. Beautiful view and perfect location, it is right on the beach! We highly recommend this small hotel to everyone!

Just come back from a week at this hotel. The hotel is lovely and the staff are, without exception, excellent. They could not do enough for us and we loved our time there. I would recommend it to anyone.

Very nice to spend all day on the beach. There is a bar and restaurant, they cook very nice and tasty.. The staff care all day, very friendly... For 2 sunbeds and an umbrella you pay 6 EUR/all day. Till you have a lunch there, they dont count it. Really reccomend this place.

Amazing service and amazing people but most of all amazing location.. the beach is in ur back yard and youre surrounded by shops and restaurants!! Even tattoo shops and arcades! Simply perfect all around.

Suprisingly amazing! I went here with low expectations but I was wowed. The room: 10/10 big, spacey, bathtub, air conditioner, kitchenette, terrace, comfy beds. Interior decoration really shines Cretan culture. The parking: enough space and requires some accurate reversing as it is a small street. The pool: 8/10 not the biggest pool in the region but it is sexy with its boutique style wooden floors...

Lovely place to stay, small family run in quiet location. Rooms are spacious and clean. Basic but nowhere near as basic as some ive encountered in greece. Great swimming pool with space around it to enjoy the peace and quiet with a drink and a good book. Excellent bus service nust outside so you can get about easily. The famiky are lovely and cant do enough to make your stay as pleasant as possible...

Very nice suites of all sizes. For a holiday only to be recommended. Super nice owners and a special feature is the room lady. Everyone is super nice, courteous and just great. Every possible year gladly again.

Nice room, felt safe. The cellar apartment was large and cool. No extra dishes, and no soap to make the dishes. But our maid cleaned our dishes for us.

Polite staff. Clean room. Plenty of hot water. *No parking, which can be a serious problem on high season. We definately recomend.

Hotel apt was clean and comfortable and staff is alwas nice and ready to help. Be aware the beach is not for children , it is really deep right after you step in the water. The beach is the gravel type!!! We had to travel 8 km towards Chania everyday where is sandy beach and calm water!!!

If you are there more than 7 days you will get tired of the breakfastbuffé let alone 7 days the juice ia barely juice and tastes very synthetic. Perfect place for a family holiday, the hotel on the first line, 20 meters from the beautiful sea, the magnificent sandy beach. We had a nice spacey room with sea view. We stayed there for one night, which was quite expensive, but for a family with kids this is definitely a place to visit. Very good bathroom and shower and good quality beds.

I was visit this hotel during a business trip . The staff was excellent and the hosts super friendly in an way that I was feel guilty to leave 😄. The facilities was really clean and the pool was big , clean and relaxing. the beach also was perfect and the sunset was magical in site. This is a wonderful family run place. I used to come here as a kid back in the 80s with my parents. Unforgettable memories! It was one of the first and few apartments for rent in Platanias believe it or not! Of course much has changed but having come now as a mid 40s something, it is still a gorgeous place and more suitable for a quiet and independent traveler audience who don't like big resort type...

I don't even know were to start, first we arrived pretty late from the airport and we were welcome from Manos with 2 shots of his "Ela" then showing us our room without any paperwork, just saying "no worries we can do it another day" what a relieve after 2 hours driving from heraklion airport!!! 2nd we were sitting at the pool and the CEO was eating there with his family, we couldn't even say no...

It’s been a few years since our visit but we spent 2 weeks and liked it so we’re heading to Mariliana for 3 weeks this summer. The hotel is very clean, the beds are good, there are enough utensils to cook and the balcony also has decent furniture instead of plastic chairs. Location great close to amenities but quiet location. The pool is clean and of a suitable size.

We spent a week at Mariliana hotel in August 2021. It was our first time at Mariliana and we absolutely fell in love with this delightful little hotel. Mariliana is a well maintained, calm oasis with a beautiful garden. Nice hotel, excellent placed by the sea. Only missed aircon in the gym, otherwise everything was perfectly fittet for a couples vacation, or a family trip with older children as well. The staff was super friendly at all times. Would definately reccomend this to friends.

The location of this hotel was a 5/5. The view is gorgeous and steps from the beach. We stayed in a renovated room and had no complaints about the room at all. We have visited Blue Dome many times. In May 2024 we had one of the new renovated rooms. The rooms had been renovated in a very restrained and elegant way. Every detail and color was carefully considered. The new air conditioners were of high quality, silent and well working.

Everything was great about our stay at Blue Dome. The rooms were very spacious, large balconies, the view was amazing, and the hotel itself is cleverly designed so you have a view of the sea from every room. The food in their Basil Honey restaurant is simply delicious and the breakfast that we had included was just amazing. We couldn't wait to wake up in the morning and rush to the restaurant...

Modest but clean place. Very friendly staff. Location is very centered. Pool is with icy water, not suitable for children due the temperature. Upstairs rooms have to use street pavement to get there, this is not cool. Wifi is quite poor.
