We had a wonderful time (2 weeks) at Silver Beach and we recommend it without hesitation. Super friendly and caring staff, excellent facilities, good food, attention to details and ideal for any age / stage in life (we were a family of 4 with little kids). Well located, not the most modern place but, has exactly what is needed and working AC.

The hotel and the room were clean. The room was big enough. There are 3 parrots in the bar area. Lots of trees on the hotel territory including mango trees.

We had the best time here on a working holiday, for 2 weeks. It’s 5 min walk from the beach and Platanias and Chania are easy to get to with a frequent bus. Chilling by the pool was our favourite pastime when not working. Loved my stay here. Would return. Two couples sharing the great Tikita apartment quite comfortably we enjoyed everything the nice friendly and accommodating host offered. Just don't tell them we sneaked a very tasty pomegranate from the tree. Good economical location for going in any direction on day trips.

Lovely small hotel with incredibly nice and fun staff. The restaurant is classic Greek and quite good. They also make great coffee variations. Excellent choice of pools, great staff - friendly and very helpfull - we were self catering and he facilities were great - only down side was the lack of a convenient Supermarket. There are loads around, but all required a bus journey to reach them. Only down side was the property next door which hd two noisy dogs that started barking early every morning!

Nice place. Pebble beach with a sandy seabed starting in ca 1m as you enter the water. Possible to snorkel in 10-15m from the shore to see colorful fish. :)

Very nice to spend all day on the beach. There is a bar and restaurant, they cook very nice and tasty.. The staff care all day, very friendly... For 2 sunbeds and an umbrella you pay 6 EUR/all day. Till you have a lunch there, they dont count it. Really reccomend this place.

Lovely place to stay, small family run in quiet location. Rooms are spacious and clean. Basic but nowhere near as basic as some ive encountered in greece. Very nice accommodation, cleaned daily, very quiet. All the staff very friendly especially the cleaner Maria and the gardener. We had a nice spacey room with sea view. We stayed there for one night, which was quite expensive, but for a family with kids this is definitely a place to visit. Very good bathroom and shower and good quality beds.

It’s been a few years since our visit but we spent 2 weeks and liked it so we’re heading to Mariliana for 3 weeks this summer. The hotel is very clean, the beds are good, there are enough utensils to cook and the balcony also has decent furniture instead of plastic chairs. We have visited Blue Dome many times. In May 2024 we had one of the new renovated rooms. The rooms had been renovated in a very restrained and elegant way. Every detail and color was carefully considered. The new air conditioners were of high quality, silent and well working.

Everything was great about our stay at Blue Dome. The rooms were very spacious, large balconies, the view was amazing, and the hotel itself is cleverly designed so you have a view of the sea from every room. Heartful service and all in all, a decent hotel to relax with the family. Central location in Platanias is a huge plus as well, while being still quiet. Roof terrace was a cool addition as well, and guests are welcome to stay and store luggage even after check out, which was indeed helpful to us.
