Pool area was also kept very clean, the food as an all inclusive was high quality both lunch and dinner. Lots of entertainment for children even in the evening

We came as a family of 4 with a 4 year old and 3 month old. The hotel is decent for a family break. Pools and slides very good for the kids and for an all inclusive the food wasn’t too bad although repetitive

Got to the room, and the bathroom was left in a disgusting state by whoever was before us, toilet and shower etc… dirty towels all over the bathroom still. No one had even changed towels in between family’s

We arrived at reception for the room to be told we’d have to wait for another 3 family’s to use it first. Not great with young children when you’ve been promised you wouldn’t have to wait

Anyway we waited… when it was our turn I asked would towels be up there and was told yes of course

Hotel not really busy what was a plus for us no fighting for towels 😂😂nothing around hotel to see and schoops already closed Very cold water in october should be heated if u want be 4 star food was average nearly all the same every day What was for a plus very nice people around hotel especially reception team and animation team 😀antonio we will remeber you and Tatiana 😀 we definitely not back...

The ice cream, however, was a bit bland, though the banana and strawberry flavors were quite good! - Sunbeds: The sunbeds were top-notch—high-end, new, and incredibly comfortable, adding to the overall relaxation

The rooms are very big clean and beautifully decorated. The view is so beautiful to the mountains and to the sea. The stuff is so friendly and good with the customers

Also, most of the sunbeds were already taken by 8:30 AM, so you need to reserve early. The "kids" pool looked like a lot of fun for the younger guests

- Staff: The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay! Mixed Impressions: - Pools: We mostly used the "adult" pool, which was nice and relaxing, but it wasn’t that big

Best staff ever. Swimming pools and gardens really well kept. The cleaning staff did a great job. The all inclusive buffet had always new and fresh dishes. We wish we could stay longer!!!

- Beach: Just 10 steps away from the hotel, you’ll find a stunning, though rocky, beach with amazing views. The downside is that sunbeds cost 5 euros to use

Excellent place - good value for money. We had a great balcony overclooking the swimming pool, the apartament was comfortable and cosy. The swimming pool was perfect - clean, warm and deep (2.7m) We love it!

There were 3 bins in the room, which made it a lot easier to keep the room tidy. The bins were taken out everyday and beds were also made everyday. The kitchenette has most utensils and cooking equipment

The pool was also of a decent size and very clean. There were a few inflatables and balls around the pool. There was a notice saying the rooms were sterilised by UV light

Spaces in the car park appear to have been marked at different times, as some of the spaces block other cars in, which I'd witnessed, and on 1 of the nights I watched 2 cars drop people off and then leave because there weren't any spaces left

But at the beach front there are plenty of spaces, and that is a very short walk away from the back entrance of the hotel. It was very close to a shingle beach and a stretch of hotels and shops, and the tourist train

Fridge also had a freezer shelf. There was a dining table and chairs, a dressing table, a sofa bed to sleep 1 person, a double bed and on the balcony there was a small table and chairs. Balcony was of a decent size

If you want exceptional service, if you want to base yourself in a quality venue that makes touring Crete easy we had a car, but there is a good bus service The joy of staying at Asterion Suites & Spa is after a day of exploring or a night visiting Chania old town which is a must you have a sense of coming home to family and friends

The location of this hotel is excellent and the beach and sea here are fantastic. The service here is just outstanding. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay special. The dining room manager was fantastic

We both enjoyed our walks along the sea-front, took a taxi into Chania Old Town and went for a trip on a mini-train which had an accessible carriage! It means so much to be able to still enjoy a holiday like this, so thank you to everyone at the Asterion, especially to the kind gentleman who mended the back of my scooter with his Allen key!

It really was some of the best service I've ever had and I travel extensively. The hotel is very clean; the cleaners do an excellent job. It's a very quiet, relaxing place. I found the evening barman somewhat sleazy!

The staff are all brilliant, our room was lovely, quality of the food and drinks fantastic, pool and beach great

The most beautiful vacation! The spacious rooms, cleanliness, excellent and varied food, impeccable service, very welcoming staff, location in a quiet area with very nice view to the sea and the mountain

The hotel they sent us to was run-down and dirty – black mould on the walls, cracked tiles, and generally in a poor state. We were so upset and couldn’t believe this is where we were expected to stay for half our holiday

The woman on reception was rude, dismissive, and showed no care for our situation at all. She didn’t offer any solutions or alternatives within the hotel and just said we’d have to go to another hotel they had arranged

Just a warning to anyone thinking of staying here: the hotel is amazing, but the front desk staff are hit and miss. Some were fantastic, but others were incredibly rude and unprofessional

As compensation, the manager kindly upgraded our all-inclusive package to their best tier, which was a really thoughtful gesture and made a huge difference to the rest of our stay

And if anything seems off with your booking, don’t be afraid to speak up – if we hadn’t, we would’ve spent half our holiday somewhere awful that we didn’t even choose

I stayed there for 5 days with group of my friends. Rooms were clear and the equipment was everything we needed. Swimming pool and cocktails in bar were amazing too. Owners and staffs were very pleasant and nice to guest

I am one of the first customers of the season and the experience was unique. The personnel of the hotel is helpful, knowledgeable and professionals. The chef is skilled and I enjoyed the all inclusive food served to me

I had no expectations because already once in Greece the hotel was a disaster despite the higher price and good reviews. But the hotel exceeded expectations. Beautiful quiet hotel, not far from the beach

Beach is near the hotel and enter to sea was calm and gradual. In the surrounding there is a lot of restaurants, bars, where you can spend many enjoyable time. Many thanks, and I hope see you soon

Two pools, fitness center what's not to like 😎🌞 great buffet with loads of new dishes each day. They also went in a extra bit and celebrated me and my wife's birtday with cake and drinks 🍸 😄

Plenty of sun lounges which are really comfy, beach towels are also provided. The hotel is beautifully presented and clean, with cleaners and maintenance workers working all day taking pride in the areas

It's a great hotel with great and helpful staff, always smiling and with good energy, our family been more then happy for our stay here, I'm sure we will come back again 😀 😊 definitely a place to visit, you have beach 30 meters from the hotel too

Also the sun sets on the other side of the beach with is also beautiful. Overall we had an amazing week at Maleme Mare. We would highly recommend it if you’re after a week of relaxing in this friendly, family feel hotel

We would like to give a massive shout out to Aris who made an effort with us each day, what a lovely guy and we feel as though we’ve left with a friend. 3 nights a week there’s entertainment on at the bar

Sasha is always working hard and there’s a big selection of cocktails in the evening. By the end of the night everyone is up dancing and laughing. The food is perfectly presented and huge selection

The hotel and the rooms are a bit dated, but well maintained and reasonably priced. The sea view/pool view room was quiet and had a very nice view from the balcony, especially in the evenings

The family and staff is very friendly and always helpful, they let us keep one of our rooms on checkout day free of charge so we could leave our luggage there and use the pool all day

I would recommend the Albatros as a base for exploring the island and the beaches, for hanging out at the pool in the afternoons/evenings and the occasional snack in the restaurant

We often had snacks or salads here while hanging at the pool and a few dinners, but also went out quite often. The breakfast is nothing special

If you want a quiet room, ask for sea view. The pool is large, well maintained and well equipped with beds and umbrellas

WiFi connection was working flawlessly in the rooms and at the pool and was fast

The pool is clean and warm, the greenery is just eye-pleasing and it’s located within a walking distance from the sea. Electra Pension is the best choice both for private adventures and family holidays

It's a great spot for a family. They got a pool as well, deep and shallow. We checked out earlier in the morning, and they gave us breakfast to eat later 🩵 They cleaned the room every other day

Delicious 😋 have many offerings! We had a Moussaka there and it was well cooked, also mango juice 🥤 was great. It has a private clean beach ⛱️ Sunbeds are enough for everyone, cool atmosphere

The beach is annoyingly close to the rooms and the restaurant and the pool is too clean and perfect. All the staff is very kind and careful. The location is too perfect to be true

The location was excellent 👌🏻 it has supermarket in 5 min distance and lots of restaurants in walking distance. If we come again to Crete - Chania, we will stay here 🥰 Loves

Located close to a bus stop and within walking distance to the beach and some restaurants. They have a pool and serve breakfast every morning

The bathroom was a bit tiny for my 6'1" boyfriend, but that's no different from some of the other places we saw

On the positive side, the good behavior of the staff, a beautiful relatively small pool and a beautiful beach in front. The hotel has some sunbeds of its own on the beach but not in good condition

In the rooms, the beds are good but the furniture is cheap and a bit broken! Also, the cleanliness is relative!!! In the bathroom, three small bottles of shampoo, the basin is yellowed and the towels had not been cleaned well!!! In general, the photos show it much better than it really is

Some hotels etc had set up direction signs, but we didn't spot one for GT Beach. We might even have driven straight past if I hadn't see a pool & buildings which looked just like the website's picture

Only bad point is that housekeeping is equal to nothing, they don t clean daily and change bedsheets after only 3 days. The pool is nice but closes at 08. Easy parking in front of hotel

What an absolute bargain of a place! Staff warm and friendly, rooms clean and spacious, great location, nice reasonably priced bar, free breakfast and free sun loungers on the beach

Walking distance to some shops and restaurants

The hotel is run by a family, the mother (the boss!) looking after things with her two sons on bar duties. They are all lovely people and went out of their way to look after us and did not disappoint

Just returned from a 2 week holiday here. The hotel is located on the quieter side of the resort so perfect if like us you enjoy a relaxing time without the loud bars and too many people

It is a relatively small hotel unlike some of the others such as the all inclusive hotels near the seafront which frankly looked horrendous and this is the perfect place to chill out and forget about the normal day to day routine

Everything was clean, with towels and sheets changed every couple of days which was just spot on. The manager and her team were all lovely and friendly, which then resonated through the guests

We had the best time, enjoying our breakfast on our shady poolside balcony, and playing with the kids in one of the three pools. We were sad to go, and would love to come again some time!

We love this hotel ❤️! If you want great value for money, a quiet hotel a bit away from the busiest tourist traps, and warm and friendly service, then this is the place for you! We stayed for week in October, and as family of four, we chose the two-floor apartment with two balconies

We had a large clean superior room with lovely sea view,  it was so quiet (we didn't hear a thing from the other rooms), comfortable beds, bathroom was neat. Everything in the room was functioning smoothy

If booking family rooms make sure you book one without stairs. Lovely hotel if you get the right room. Sunbeds are taken early morning. VERY busy main road, watch out, they don’t like stopping for pedestrians

Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service for that booking price rate. Definitely we're recommending and aim next season trip to the Castro Beach Hotel

Ok and very quiet!! Very close to the center of the vilage that you can find anything you need !! 400 meters from the main super market Synka and the tourist office Auto Motor Maleme for rentals, tours and transfers!!

There is real reception and he waits for his arriving guests even till 4 am, because the plane was late. Hotel is very clean, and well taking care off. The beach is very close to this hotel- like 3 min walking distance

Shower, toilet, kitchen in the rooms. There is ac on the rooms but you pay for it. Free acces to wifi and the pool. The bar has drinks and pizzas next to the pool. The owner is great and very helpful in evrey way

Such an awesome familiar hotel. The rooms are clean and the pool is awesome. We felt home and got some awesome recommendations and support. i would recommend everybody to come here and enjoy vacation

There's also a pool bar next to it, where football games on TV can be enjoyed with friends and other hotel guests

The perfect place to relax and enjoy Crete. The family managing the place is very friendly, welcoming and full of love. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed everything in that place

We used a little supermarket further along the road which was much cheaper. There were also many extra costs which added a fair expense to the holiday such as paying for the wi-fi, air con and towels for the pool

We had the best time here on a working holiday, for 2 weeks. It’s 5 min walk from the beach and Platanias and Chania are easy to get to with a frequent bus. Chilling by the pool was our favourite pastime when not working

The food and the cocktails at the restaurant and pool bar were amazing and the staff George and Nick are incredible hosts with great chat. Futura felt like a home for us and the guys like family

Beautiful gardens, pool and bar area set in a nice location near a good bus route to other popular attractions. Downside is that the food and drink menu is expensive and so is the shop which is situated on the premises

On top of this there are no complimentary toiletries for travelers who have hand luggage only, and there are no cloths, washing liquid, teatowels etc in the kitchens of these self catering appartments
