Pool area was also kept very clean, the food as an all inclusive was high quality both lunch and dinner. Lots of entertainment for children even in the evening

We came as a family of 4 with a 4 year old and 3 month old. The hotel is decent for a family break. Pools and slides very good for the kids and for an all inclusive the food wasn’t too bad although repetitive

Got to the room, and the bathroom was left in a disgusting state by whoever was before us, toilet and shower etc… dirty towels all over the bathroom still. No one had even changed towels in between family’s

We arrived at reception for the room to be told we’d have to wait for another 3 family’s to use it first. Not great with young children when you’ve been promised you wouldn’t have to wait

Anyway we waited… when it was our turn I asked would towels be up there and was told yes of course

Hotel not really busy what was a plus for us no fighting for towels 😂😂nothing around hotel to see and schoops already closed Very cold water in october should be heated if u want be 4 star food was average nearly all the same every day What was for a plus very nice people around hotel especially reception team and animation team 😀antonio we will remeber you and Tatiana 😀 we definitely not back...

Rooms were very comfortable and big and big balcony. There are enough beds by the pool even when the hotel was packed. Everything is clean and the food is amazing

Breakfast buffet is perfect with focus on quality and not quantity. There is a little town nearby with all sorts of restaurants and shops. A taxi can take you there for 12 euro. Chania is also just 20 minute drive

The pool towel system is a bit odd (it asks for your room number to take the towel - we didn’t see this anywhere else)

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel from October 8th to 12th. Upon our late arrival, we were upgraded to a two-story room and treated to a complimentary Greek salad. We truly appreciated this thoughtful gesture

If I’d booked a room around the pool I’d have been complaining rather more - he needs to be brought into line

The very nice thing though is that they have the pool sunbeds over grass and they have a pretty big grass field that feels amazing to walk on. The food was very good and the deserts were outstanding

Me and my bestfriend have just spent two weeks at Solimar Aquamarine. We booked a double room with private pool and we loved it! Every summer we book a girls trip and travel for two weeks together

This has to be the two most relaxing weeks we have had. As mentioned we had a room with private pool so we did not use the shared pool area at the hotel, but we did notice that it is not that big

All the sunbeds by the main pool was taken our three last days so we are wondering if there is enough beds in july and august(?) Don’t know how full the hotel was when we stayed there, but we know that it’s 104 rooms here so it might work out well

Every night when we ate dinner in the all inclusive restaurant we could see while sitting outside that there was staff cleaning the sunbeds and tables by the pool, it always looked good and clean in the moring when we went for breakfast

Also the kids pool is located a bit by itself and it’s an okay amount of sunbeds there. We only used our private pool but the shared pool area at the hotel looked clean and nice

Free sunbeds and many days there were just a few people there. Sand by the beds and almost down to the sea, but be aware of stones just in front of the water

The extremely nice staff, Claudia and Eleni from the Beach bar, Maria from the reception and those from the kitchen, I apologize for not remembering the name of the lady (Stavra?) who was particularly attentive to my needs

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely amazing holiday here! From the moment we arrived until the very last day, everything was perfect

The food was also fantastic – with delicious Aegean dishes and a very wide selection of vegetarian options, there was always something fresh and tasty to enjoy

The reception, restaurant, bar, and housekeeping staff were always so kind, helpful, and smiling – they truly made us feel welcome

There are free sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach, and you can ask for beach towels from the Beach Bar. Those who rent cars have a parking lot available

The hotel is new, modern, and very practical, while at the same time surrounded by beautiful nature

Especially, I would like thank mr Lefteris (head chef), mr Christos (sous chef), Christine (receptionist) and Ioannis (barman) for their extremely warm customer service, helpfulness and professionalism provided during our stay

Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service for that booking price rate. Definitely we're recommending and aim next season trip to the Castro Beach Hotel

Everything was perfect ! From the bar to the buffet, including cleaning service and reception. The staff is smiling and pleasant no matter the time or location of the hotel. I honestly have nothing to complain about.

Swimming pool- deep enough to have proper fun. Hosts and owner- most kind Greek women I have ever met, very friendly, very caring

Excellent place - good value for money. We had a great balcony overclooking the swimming pool, the apartament was comfortable and cosy. The swimming pool was perfect - clean, warm and deep (2.7m) We love it!

There were 3 bins in the room, which made it a lot easier to keep the room tidy. The bins were taken out everyday and beds were also made everyday. The kitchenette has most utensils and cooking equipment

The pool was also of a decent size and very clean. There were a few inflatables and balls around the pool. There was a notice saying the rooms were sterilised by UV light

Spaces in the car park appear to have been marked at different times, as some of the spaces block other cars in, which I'd witnessed, and on 1 of the nights I watched 2 cars drop people off and then leave because there weren't any spaces left

But at the beach front there are plenty of spaces, and that is a very short walk away from the back entrance of the hotel. It was very close to a shingle beach and a stretch of hotels and shops, and the tourist train

Fridge also had a freezer shelf. There was a dining table and chairs, a dressing table, a sofa bed to sleep 1 person, a double bed and on the balcony there was a small table and chairs. Balcony was of a decent size

Two couples sharing the great Tikita apartment quite comfortably we enjoyed everything the nice friendly and accommodating host offered. Just don't tell them we sneaked a very tasty pomegranate from the tree

Amazing location on the top of the hill. Literally it was an advanture to reach the place. The food varitey and taste is Excellent in its naturality. Very friendly sevice:)) Strongly recommended.

I just had four days holidays here and I appreciate the service of family , they are always willing to help and give us good advices to plan the trip, and the house is just so well-organised

The delightful cheerful personality of the Greeks is adorable. We were taken to our studio apartment. Great size for the 3 of us with beautiful sea view one side & pool view other

Cute gardens & flowers & trees surrounding the pool. Great vacation for quiet couples & family. Local shop ideal and not far if you want is the town. Sandy & stoney as its Greece afterall

If staying for more than one night I would suggest you definitely need a car. We stayed as a family of 4 for just one night. Our family room was enormous with a massive balcony area. The room was spotlessly clean

Beds comfortable with lots of clean bedding. Breakfast was more than adequate with a decent selection. The kids enjoyed the pool after breakfast for a couple of hours. All the staff are extremely friendly and attentive

Yanis & Chrityna ? We're very welcoming & professional. Breakfast was pretty good for 10 euro. Local draft beer Esol excellent. Swimming pool eco friendly & spotless clean

The swimming pool is small and nice in the low season, but I don't know what it's like when the hotel is fully booked. Poor cuisine - food in the restaurant made from supermarket products, poorly prepared

The hotel and the rooms are a bit dated, but well maintained and reasonably priced. The sea view/pool view room was quiet and had a very nice view from the balcony, especially in the evenings

The family and staff is very friendly and always helpful, they let us keep one of our rooms on checkout day free of charge so we could leave our luggage there and use the pool all day

I would recommend the Albatros as a base for exploring the island and the beaches, for hanging out at the pool in the afternoons/evenings and the occasional snack in the restaurant

We often had snacks or salads here while hanging at the pool and a few dinners, but also went out quite often. The breakfast is nothing special

If you want a quiet room, ask for sea view. The pool is large, well maintained and well equipped with beds and umbrellas

WiFi connection was working flawlessly in the rooms and at the pool and was fast

We used a little supermarket further along the road which was much cheaper. There were also many extra costs which added a fair expense to the holiday such as paying for the wi-fi, air con and towels for the pool

We had the best time here on a working holiday, for 2 weeks. It’s 5 min walk from the beach and Platanias and Chania are easy to get to with a frequent bus. Chilling by the pool was our favourite pastime when not working

The food and the cocktails at the restaurant and pool bar were amazing and the staff George and Nick are incredible hosts with great chat. Futura felt like a home for us and the guys like family

Nice location, the pool was perfect for adults and kids. Had an amazing time with the bartenders Nicholas & George! Definitely would recommend to all of you! ❤️

Beautiful gardens, pool and bar area set in a nice location near a good bus route to other popular attractions. Downside is that the food and drink menu is expensive and so is the shop which is situated on the premises

On top of this there are no complimentary toiletries for travelers who have hand luggage only, and there are no cloths, washing liquid, teatowels etc in the kitchens of these self catering appartments

The villa is in very good condition and there was everything a person needed and it's a spacious and nice place for a big family or a group of friends. There was a pool and lots of games for the kids

Excellent accomodation for family groups.Very polite and helpful owner and the house is in great condition.We enjoyed the pool by the house a lot too!We ll sure book there ,next year.

Also, the services provided by the owners are the best, since for example the owner comes every 4 days to change the old towels and clean the house

Beautiful villa with lots of amenities. Location excellent, slightly rural with sea views but only 10 mins walk to sea. Clean, spacious & very amenable owners. Highly recommend.

We just had the best time in this villa and we will definitely come back and I advise everyone who wants to enjoy these services to come to this villa because it is the best

This villa was one of the most beautiful and best places for a person to rent. The view was amazing because we could clearly see the sea from the balcony

On the positive side, the good behavior of the staff, a beautiful relatively small pool and a beautiful beach in front. The hotel has some sunbeds of its own on the beach but not in good condition

In the rooms, the beds are good but the furniture is cheap and a bit broken! Also, the cleanliness is relative!!! In the bathroom, three small bottles of shampoo, the basin is yellowed and the towels had not been cleaned well!!! In general, the photos show it much better than it really is

Some hotels etc had set up direction signs, but we didn't spot one for GT Beach. We might even have driven straight past if I hadn't see a pool & buildings which looked just like the website's picture

Only bad point is that housekeeping is equal to nothing, they don t clean daily and change bedsheets after only 3 days. The pool is nice but closes at 08. Easy parking in front of hotel

What an absolute bargain of a place! Staff warm and friendly, rooms clean and spacious, great location, nice reasonably priced bar, free breakfast and free sun loungers on the beach

Walking distance to some shops and restaurants

I stayed there for 5 days with group of my friends. Rooms were clear and the equipment was everything we needed. Swimming pool and cocktails in bar were amazing too. Owners and staffs were very pleasant and nice to guest

Same playlist in the poolbar running over and over, including a Christmas song for the first 24 hours

The hotel facilities are very good, pleasant restaurant, nice pool area. The fitness room though - a tragedy

And the way he conducted this with his own people was very simply embarrassing to look at. I would not want to work for him myself but maybe Greece is a little outdated when it comes to people management, I don't know

All the five stars are dedicated to the staff! Reception, restaurant staff and cleaning were all so great. They were all very kind and interactive with my little 1-year old daughter Luna, so we appreciated this a lot

I'm sure the management would want to have 'fitness' checked out amongst the facilities but to call those facilities a gym would be a strong overstatement. They have six 5-kg weights and two machines out of order

As someone with mobility problems, I valued the accessibility of the hotel and its grounds, even down to a path onto the beach, so that I was able to sit out on the sun loungers there

The staff are super friendly - Roula and George at the pool bar are outstanding as is the manager at Matter and the restaurant staff are all lovely

My daughter and I have just spent a week at the Asterion. We thought that the facilities and the food were excellent, although it is the staff who make this a fantastic place to stay

We both enjoyed our walks along the sea-front, took a taxi into Chania Old Town and went for a trip on a mini-train which had an accessible carriage! It means so much to be able to still enjoy a holiday like this, so thank you to everyone at the Asterion, especially to the kind gentleman who mended the back of my scooter with his Allen key!

The reception staff, the restaurant staff and service staff could not have been more friendly and helpful during our stay

I was able to use my mobility scooter throughout the hotel and store it overnight in our suite, where there was then plenty of room to use a walker

Two pools, fitness center what's not to like 😎🌞 great buffet with loads of new dishes each day. They also went in a extra bit and celebrated me and my wife's birtday with cake and drinks 🍸 😄

Plenty of sun lounges which are really comfy, beach towels are also provided. The hotel is beautifully presented and clean, with cleaners and maintenance workers working all day taking pride in the areas

It's a great hotel with great and helpful staff, always smiling and with good energy, our family been more then happy for our stay here, I'm sure we will come back again 😀 😊 definitely a place to visit, you have beach 30 meters from the hotel too

Also the sun sets on the other side of the beach with is also beautiful. Overall we had an amazing week at Maleme Mare. We would highly recommend it if you’re after a week of relaxing in this friendly, family feel hotel

We would like to give a massive shout out to Aris who made an effort with us each day, what a lovely guy and we feel as though we’ve left with a friend. 3 nights a week there’s entertainment on at the bar

Sasha is always working hard and there’s a big selection of cocktails in the evening. By the end of the night everyone is up dancing and laughing. The food is perfectly presented and huge selection

Costa and Olga are lovely. Friendly and accommodating. I was looking for a quiet area with a pool and that's what I got. Close to the beach and shops with a few touristy things to see. What more could you ask for

The hotel is managed and driven by a super kind and friendly elderly couple which make it almost you feel like your own home

Ok and very quiet!! Very close to the center of the vilage that you can find anything you need !! 400 meters from the main super market Synka and the tourist office Auto Motor Maleme for rentals, tours and transfers!!

Clean, nice helpful owners. You have to pay extra for ac, safebox even for toiletpaper.
