Costa and Olga are lovely. Friendly and accommodating. I was looking for a quiet area with a pool and that's what I got. Close to the beach and shops with a few touristy things to see. What more could you ask for

Nice, clean and best value for money hotel (Olga Suites), located in a calm area with only 300m to the beach. The hotel is managed and driven by a super kind and friendly elderly couple which make it almost you feel like your own home.

Clean, nice helpful owners. You have to pay extra for ac, safebox even for toiletpaper.

The owner of the hotel is very friendly. He treats all his guests like a family. He is always there to help you with whatever you need. There is real reception and he waits for his arriving guests even till 4 am, because the plane was late. Hotel is very clean, and well taking care off. The beach is very close to this hotel- like 3 min walking distance. Close by is a market you can buy your own food...

Just returned from a 2 week holiday here & what a fabulous time we had. Was greeted on arrival (early hours of the morning) with food & drinks served which we thought was such a nice touch. Food was good & the chefs were great, always greeted you & always smiling. Where to start. A lovely hotel in a quiet and peaceful area with exceptional staff who cannot do enough for you. Rooms are nice and clean and there is plenty of space. Buffet food with plenty of choice. Entertainment 3 times a week which was nice. 2 swimming pools though would recommend the one with the children's pool as it does catch the sun well from around 12pm. The beach just over the road though...

Where to start …after learning that the resort was quiet we were going to change our booking ..so so glad we didn’t !! This place is very nice, it is not luxury but it is very clean and peaceful. Owners and stuff are really polite, we had problem with our rent a car agency and they tried to help us. Beautiful view and perfect location, it is right on the beach! We highly recommend this small hotel to everyone!

Just come back from a week at this hotel. The hotel is lovely and the staff are, without exception, excellent. They could not do enough for us and we loved our time there. I would recommend it to anyone.

Very nice to spend all day on the beach. There is a bar and restaurant, they cook very nice and tasty.. The staff care all day, very friendly... For 2 sunbeds and an umbrella you pay 6 EUR/all day. Till you have a lunch there, they dont count it. Really reccomend this place.

Amazing service and amazing people but most of all amazing location.. the beach is in ur back yard and youre surrounded by shops and restaurants!! Even tattoo shops and arcades! Simply perfect all around.

Lovely place to stay, small family run in quiet location. Rooms are spacious and clean. Basic but nowhere near as basic as some ive encountered in greece. Great swimming pool with space around it to enjoy the peace and quiet with a drink and a good book. Excellent bus service nust outside so you can get about easily. The famiky are lovely and cant do enough to make your stay as pleasant as possible...

Very nice accommodation, cleaned daily, very quiet. All the staff very friendly especially the cleaner Maria and the gardener. Ideally situated only 5 minutes to the beach and 5 minutes to the many bars and restaurants. Great value, just to add the air conditioning is extra €8 per day but much needed at this time of year.

Just spent a week with wife in this hotel and everything which you need for vacation works. Hotel and rooms are clean and cleaned six times per week. Towels change every third day. Pool area is small like hotel itself but again clean and comfortable. Pool bar was not open at all during our stay. Aircondition was in both rooms; living and bed rooms, and worked well. It’s been a few years since our visit but we spent 2 weeks and liked it so we’re heading to Mariliana for 3 weeks this summer. The hotel is very clean, the beds are good, there are enough utensils to cook and the balcony also has decent furniture instead of plastic chairs. A very cozy hotel situated near the centre of Platanias. The host couple George and Sylvia are very accommodating and nice people. The hotel has a pool with the possibility to turn on a jaccuzi. Good location, but not maintained. The place is dirty. Looking at it would change the rating. The manager is willing to help but needs to spend money on maintaining and cleaning the place. We were welcomed warmly, even though it was end of the season and we were the only guests. The apartment was big and it was cleaned every day. The location of the hotel is perfect for a beach holiday, the beach is just across the street. Nice pools even though we didn't use them as it was October and the water was a bit cold.

Nice place with a beach and a swimming pool for kids. Rooms are ok, could have more shelves to put things on, and we do miss a normal double bed - two beds put side-by-side are still not very convenient for a romantic holiday :)

Very fine little condo for a family of 4. With all the basics. There is a small balkony with dry hanger and good amount of electric sockets. There was room cleaning service eberyday with new bedsheets.Very sizeable poolarea with great pool and very friendly staff, that can suggest where to go, so dont be afraid to ask. The staff at the Minerva gladly let us use some beds when we wanted a beach day (@ 6 days) as long as we bought some drinks. Not a problem. On our last day we stopped there for some lunch, a good couple of hours looking out to the sea. Great food and service. We had lunch at the patio at Minerva restaurant, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! The setting is beautiful with a serene sea view, the food was very good with fresh local ingredients, and the service was outstanding. The lovely general manager Katerina took care of us & stopped to chat with us; we had 3 kids in our group and the staff was very friendly to them. Warmly recommended!

The room was basic, the mattress was quite firm, there was a decent small kitchenette and fridge, room was very clean and had everything you need including AC, a hairdryer, hangers, shampoo, nice bathroom/ shower, and there is onsite parking if you decide to rent a car. Great aparthotel, really enjoyed our stay in 2level suit with amazing seaview. Apartment was fully equiped and clean. Cleaning lady changed everything every day, perfect work. A lot of taverns nearby, 2min to the beach, always clean and warm pool.

I would give 6* if I could. Pristine conditions both indoors and outdoors. Delicious and rich breakfast in the morning with the sea view is something you won't ever forget. Definitely go for those. Excellent location - just off the main road by shops and bus stop into Chania and Agia Marina. Good pool, not too busy. The pool bar plays very loud dance music all day (9:30am - the evening). If you want to relax by the pool, this is not the place for you. Breakfast was not worth the additional cost. There was not a large selection of food. Stayed here as a group of 4. 2 on ground floor, 2 on upper floor, self catering. Our room was basic but suited our needs. Swimming pool was cleaned every day and all staff friendly. Air conditioning was fantastic very cold. On our balcony we had a clothes horse which was very handy. Bar men were very nice and friendly. Would stay here again.
