Excellent place - good value for money. We had a great balcony overclooking the swimming pool, the apartament was comfortable and cosy. The swimming pool was perfect - clean, warm and deep (2.7m) We love it!

An Excellent family run hotel. . Our room is a Modern, Large Studio apartment with plenty of space to relax and all amenities needed for self-catering (Although so far My Wife and I have enjoyed the Restaurant each night). . We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Instead of the studio we booked, we were given a spacious apartment, which was a great surprise. We just came back home from our stay at Kastalia Village. It’s on the edge of town and it’s perfect- quiet, far from all the crowds. It has large parking so ideal place for people with rented cars. Had great swimming Pools and activities one thing though the Bar and Restaurant shut to early of an evening by 10 o clock they should of stayed open later at least till 12 o clock so guests could enjoy themselves more with being on Holiday that was my only criticism. The rooms where alright. Regular cleaning and functioning AC. What makes me lower my rating was the bitter attitude from the staff and the route you had to take to get to the restaurant/beach. It was basically a back alley with cars and huge piles of trash.

The breakfast was tasteless, and has a small selection of not-so good food. There is a teenage boy working here who’s yelling constantly, and staring at everybody the whole day by the breakfast and bar, which ruins the good vibes at breakfast and is really annoying. No do not disturb signs to put on the door, which means the poor washing lady has to knock on the door and disturb people living there...

Excellent hotel! The rooms spacious with a lovely view of the pool, we could sit outside and relax or swim. 1 minute for the beach. Also the windows were soundproof so no matter the noise or music outside, the rooms were peaceful

Hotel apt was clean and comfortable and staff is alwas nice and ready to help. Be aware the beach is not for children , it is really deep right after you step in the water. The beach is the gravel type!!! We had to travel 8 km towards Chania everyday where is sandy beach and calm water!!!

We had a nice spacey room with sea view. We stayed there for one night, which was quite expensive, but for a family with kids this is definitely a place to visit. Very good bathroom and shower and good quality beds.

We stayed here a week with four Kids. So nice small hotel. Poolbar had good and quite good prizes. You could eat in the bar or in your room/balcony. Good location, quiet road on the side. Super market just other side of the road. Pool were nice, kids could play with balls and other toys. If we go again to Platanias, we will get here again

My friend and I are two girls from Denmark, who spend 1 week in Agia Marina and stayed in Epimendis hotel. Our flat consisted of 1 bedroom, 1 dining room with a small kitchen, 1 bathroom, and 2 outside sitting areas. We enjoyed to make our own breakfast and there were plenty of shops nearby the hotel witch made it easy to get groceries. It is not a 5 stars hotel, but you get good value for the money...
