Where to stay in Maleme

Very nice, clean hotel. Large rooms. Little out on a limb if you want the busy bars, but they are only a short bus ride away. Good showers and Kosta was an excellent host, informative and let us know some nice places to visit. Try his crazy potatoes, not found anywhere else

We stayed at the hotel for a few days and we enjoyed our stay. In positive included the very friendly courteous staff, great pool area, many amenities in the studios. All in all, we had a great stay and the hotel is highly recommended to everyone who wants to have a unique vacations!

In a nice location, close to the beaches and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Ideal for relaxing on vacation. The room is comfortable and clean, so it is definitely worth it.

The room was beautiful and very spacious and clean. We were surprised at how quiet our room was, we felt like we were the only guests staying there. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is nice, right on the beach. Pool is really nice, large, clean with umbrellas and sunbeds. Staff was so professional, so nice, made my day and was just overall awesome! They explained everything really well and were super efficient. Luggage transfer service and reception was available and I really appreciated his kindness and good vibe.

We spent almost a week at the Atlantic Resort and it was lovely. We had a beautiful room in a bungalow overlooking the sea. It was kept very clean, towels were changed daily. Pool area was also kept very clean, the food as an all inclusive was high quality both lunch and dinner. Lots of entertainment for children even in the evening. Amazing hotel set in a beautiful beach. The Greek restaurant was especially good and the orange cake amazing. All inclusive means more relaxing as you don’t need to arrange anything. Swimming pools great and lots to do for kids. Highly recommend🤍🇬🇷

It is small, nice and clean. Everybody in the staff work hard every day and deserve all the good feedback they get. It might need some upfreshing in furniture and curtains, but anyway, if you really want to relax you choose G T Beach.

Great hotel. The food could be a bit better but it's buffet so understandable. Great staff, super helpful, especially the lady running the pool bar. Room was modern and clean. The beach is a mix of stones and sand. People giving the hotel a bad review because of the beach are a bit ridiculous.

Great hotel a few meters away from the beach. Verry clean, nice rooms, and friendly staff, especially the chefs. The food was exceptional (breakfast and dinner). Every day the chefs prepared new dishes, some of them prepared on the spot.

Best place for vacation..

We stayed in room 54 ( sea view) for 10 nights. The room was clean, renovated and beautifully decorated. The wifi (free of charge) is quick everywhere in the hotel. The food is ok, but a little bit boring, since the menu is repeatitive. It would be great if we could buy refreshments (coca cola etc) inside the hotel and if there was a massage spot by a professional. You should definitely add small bottles...

We spent 11 nights with a family of 7 at the Albatros, a family run, medium sized hotel in the center of Maleme, only a short walk to the beach front. The hotel and the rooms are a bit dated, but well maintained and reasonably priced. The sea view/pool view room was quiet and had a very nice view from the balcony, especially in the evenings. Eria is a great place and the staff are 5 star however it is very expensive. You can buy 4 bottles of beer at the super market (10 minutes away) for the price of 1 at the hotel bar! And it’s not just alcoholic drinks but the soft drinks are over priced too. If I had to go again I would definitely do self catering as the breakfast and dinners are nowhere near worth the money, hot plates are not turned...

Lovely small hotel with incredibly nice and fun staff. The restaurant is classic Greek and quite good. They also make great coffee variations. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious but they could use some refurbishment here and there. Everything else you could need is within walking distance.

Costa and Olga are lovely. Friendly and accommodating. I was looking for a quiet area with a pool and that's what I got. Close to the beach and shops with a few touristy things to see. What more could you ask for

Nice, clean and best value for money hotel (Olga Suites), located in a calm area with only 300m to the beach. The hotel is managed and driven by a super kind and friendly elderly couple which make it almost you feel like your own home.

The owner of the hotel is very friendly. He treats all his guests like a family. He is always there to help you with whatever you need. It could be better ... I suppose that this property created very fast and it is not finished yet. The rooms were not clean enough. There are too many construction imperfections. The breakfast was poor. The beds are not so confortable. An awful smell was comming from the drains. Our room was very noisy. The staff was very kind.

Located close to a bus stop and within walking distance to the beach and some restaurants. They have a pool and serve breakfast every morning. The owners are very nice and helpful if you're having trouble figuring out what to do/where to go next. Our room was perfect for two and private. The bathroom was a bit tiny for my 6'1" boyfriend, but that's no different from some of the other places we saw

Very quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Traditionally decorated simple rooms at cheap prices. Close to bus stops and 5 min walk to a very remote not croweded clean beach. Ideal for people who like to explore Crete and have a place to stay.

Loved my stay here. Would return. Two couples sharing the great Tikita apartment quite comfortably we enjoyed everything the nice friendly and accommodating host offered. Just don't tell them we sneaked a very tasty pomegranate from the tree. Good economical location for going in any direction on day trips.

I had a great experience renting a room from this hotel. Practically on the beach with a really good restaurant within a 1 minute walk. Sofia and her staff were fantastic! I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking to for a hotel in the Maleme area. If you need a taxi to and from the airport, Sofia can order one for you.

The hotel is just great. The room was big enough for 2 adults + 1 child (7yo). Sofia was the best host and, because our return flight was cancelled and had to leave 1 day earlier, she helped us and refunded 1 day (we didn't expect this at all). Thank you Sofia. We recommend you to book your stay at Oliva Beach Hotel. It is near all great beaches that Crete has to offer.

Everything was great. Nice and big room, very clean and modern, private balcony, air conditioning. The location is great if you want to relax and some quiet time. The 100m from the beach. They were really accommodating and available at all time.

The hotel and the room were clean. The room was big enough. There are 3 parrots in the bar area. Lots of trees on the hotel territory including mango trees.

We had the best time here on a working holiday, for 2 weeks. It’s 5 min walk from the beach and Platanias and Chania are easy to get to with a frequent bus. Chilling by the pool was our favourite pastime when not working. The food and the cocktails at the restaurant and pool bar were amazing and the staff George and Nick are incredible hosts with great chat. Futura felt like a home for us and the guys...
