This is my favorite place to stay when I come to Nauplio. The rooms are huge. Large marble bathrooms. Beautiful balconies to enjoy all the views. Service is amazing. The staff is all wonderful. Lovely stay and welcoming atmosphere. The only place to celebrate our honeymoon with us out of our whole 2 week stay in Greece. The walks around the area are great and the food at the hotel is good. Lots of different games available for you to borrow and play along with a communal TV/dvds if you wish.

One of the most relaxing and comfortable holidays. We needed a retreat after our wedding and the place was so relaxing. Just 6-8 kilometres from the centre of Nafplio and all the stores for dinner , shopping and coctails. The stuff was extremely nice and friendly, breakfast for every dietary restriction but also very tasty. Cleaning service was the best i have ever experienced. Extremely recommended...

It is an excellent hotel. Clean and spacious rooms. All the rooms have a nice terrace with a magnificent view. The swimming pool can be reached directly from some rooms. It is a large and very clean swimming pool. We tried the menu of the restaurant, absolutely one of the best restaurants during our round trip in Greece. Sadly only spent one night in this lovely hotel but it was really special. The rooms were lovely, loved the round beds that were very comfy. Being right on the square it was so quiet and loved hearing the bells from the local church. The breakfast provided was yummy and the staff went above and beyond, the hotel staff Christine was especially wonderful. Highly recommend and hope to return in the future

Luxurious, high ceiling, great value, great view from room 201. Great location, just leave your car at the public parking lot at the port and you are at walking distance from the hotel to every place. Only room for improvement is the need for a bigger fridge.

Great hotel to stay at!! Loved our stay, and the views were absolutely fantastic. Be warned, the hill going up to the hotel (if you are driving there in a car) is a bit difficult to maneuver and park up there. Outside of that logistical note, the stay was excellent, facilities were on point, and the manager was kind and welcoming!

The room was clean and big, service was the excellent. Great price. We had a balcony with an amazing view. Not very far from the old town. Mrs Evaggelia is very sweet and has a beautiful garden.

Easy, good price, clean, enough space for two people. But there were no additionall blankets, no hair dryer, uncomfortable bed (it was too soft, so we were laying like a banana). The hotel is situated on a very steep hill, not every car and driver can reach this location. In the direct enviroment there are no taverns like you may expect. You have to walk about 20min to the ancient town where the taverns...

The hotel is located at the hill foot of the old castle of Nafplio. Rooms are very spacious and clean and the prices are more than reasonable. Service is excellent. The only downside I could see is that is not easily accessible by foot due to uphill road. Other than that is highly recommended.

Nice place outside the city centre, with a wonderful view of the Palamidi fort and the bay, prices are fare rooms are very big with balconies and all essential furniture. Very quite and relaxing.

Beautiful place, the room was decorated as an old palace. Even with a chandelier! It is conveniently situated in walking distance from the city center. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the garden was amazing! Definitely a place to visit again! Well done!

We had a great 2 day stay with our 2 sons. There is a door dividing our rooms which gave us privacy, but allowed us to be together. It’s a beautiful setting with about a 20 minute walk to the edge of old town and ~30 minutes to the sea. Pool and dining area is small, but elegantly designed and peaceful.

There are so many positive points about this place that I don’t know where to start. Let’s say that I agree with all that was mentioned in other 5 star reviews. We were very lucky to get the Uranos suite with beautiful privative terrace / view and even a jaccuzzi. I can thank the team at the Anthemion enough for a lovely 4 day stay. They were all really friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. The standard room felt a little small, but the facilities made up for it. Very clean and great breakfasts. Good location too. We were sad to leave.

I’m such a huge fan of this beautiful hotel, so much so I decided to host my wedding there. The setting is truly stunning and the staff are outstanding. We love everything from the rooms to the excellent food, I cannot express how much we love this place. The team are just incredible. We’ll definitely be back :)

A fantastic place. All the staff are attentive and make staying at Anthemion a delight. It is a beautiful setting and on top of that the food is really top quality.

Very nice comfortable apartments. A little bit expensive for the average Greek, about 150 euros per day. Nice but small swimming pool and average WiFi speed. It's 2 km from the city centre but mostly uphill from the city to the apartment so, prefer the use of a vehicle instead on foot if you're not very athletic. No breakfast is included to the above price.

The place is fine for 2 night stay to enjoy one day at some local beach and to see the fortress. In front of this hotel you will notice a strange parking lot where weird things happen every single night. Stay tuned!

Very nice little hotel. It appears to be brand new and very clean. The staff is polite and helpful. The hotel is situated along the coast some 700m south of the city center with easy free parking. There are no swimming facilities in this hotel but swimming beaches are quite close. It is certainly a nice place to stay for visiting Nafplion -one of the most beautiful cities of Greece.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with three balconies and a terrace. Very clean, spacious and well situated with lovely views towards Nafplion. Breakfast was fantastic and our hosts were so friendly. We even received a lovely gift at the end of our stay. Exceptional value.

First of all i want to say how good our stay was in Kanathos Pigi! We have been in Greece for two weeks and this was a surprise as well as a warm welcome to arrive at such personal and beautiful stay! We loved the rooms and especially the breakfast. We stayed one week in Myral Guesthouse during our visiting of Nafplio. This place is the perfect solution if you travel by car but you need to be near the city center. It’s clean and comfortable an its host speaks an excellent italian. We’ll definitely come back here if we return to Nafplio!

Great place to stay as a base for the South of Greece. About 4 kms away from Nafplio which in my opinion bus a good thing as the town is very busy, and difficult to park. We would park at the port nearby and walk through the historic town, palamidi fort etc. It's also very close to many great beaches such as Tolo and Karathona on the eastern side, and Astro on the western side, best of both worlds...

Breakfast here has the best value for money as others mention too. The location is spot on! You're only 7 minutes away from the beach. Yet you're located right at the shopping district. The staff here are genuinely good people and you can feel that they are motivated and want you to have a nice experience. Lastly, their roof garden at night will give you something that even the best hotels can't match

Right in the center of the old city, nice room comfortable and clean. Good for a couple nights to experience Nafplio. As it is near everything, nights can be a bit noisy, but it is part of the charm... We were to there with two kids and were able to sleep through it.

We booked the Althaia Pension, and when we first got there we had to go to reception which was half way up a staircase in a tiny room which got us a bit worried, but this all changed when they showed us our room. A beautiful old building where we had a nice big bedroom, sitting area, and bathroom. Staff was friendly, and they have great breakfast for only 6,5 per person on the side of the building...

It was good and clean but a bit pricy for what you get, it had some matters as the toilet door couldn't close completely ( and of course not possible to lock) and you can hear other rooms anything ( no privacy feeling) and it was tinny, on the other hand the hostess ( old lady ) was lovely and very very kind

This is perhaps the greatest guest house in all of Greece. Eleni is national treasure, and the staff is really nice. Perfect location, close to everything but very quiet. Great views. Spend the extra money for a room with a deck.

Nice room, clean and good equipped (fridge, cuttlery etc.) The option for breakfast would have been nice. The balkony was small, but comfortable. The owners were really friendly. The area was quiet, but the center of the town was easy reachable by foot (about 10min). We can recommend the place for sure!
