Where to stay in Nafplio

Beautiful and large hotel. Easily accessible to and from Nafplion. The rooms are big and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Very clean. The only downside is that the rooms need renovations. They are already outdated. Most importantly, get rid of the shower curtains! (Which were clean nonetheless). Will be back

The hotel rooms are spacious and clean - the staff friendly and polite the breakfast offered rich and abundant - in fact for all tastes. Pretty nice though the interior feels dated. The flowers outside were really nice. You could smell the jasmine in bloom. Location is not walkable to Nafplion but is a quick 10 minute taxi.

As with all the former “Ξενία” hotels that were built during the Greek junta to be run by the state, the location of Nafplia is absolutely stunning. We stayed in one of the villas. Very friendly caring staff. Wonderful location on the sea front opposite a castle on an island in the water. The castle is illuminated at night. You are fine with the rooms as soon as you work out what all the switches are for (curtains etc).

Great hotel in stunning location. Rooms look out over the bay and are quite large and comfortable. Rooms have a fridge and a room safe. The only downside is no tea or coffee making facilities. Rooms are heavily automated with buttons to open and close curtains, which takes a bit of working out, including the window to the bathroom.most rooms have a balcony, but a few just have a juliet balcony.

The rooms are amazing! The view is amazing right over the water! We got our own deck overlooking the water suitable for 20 people or more. The food? To die for. Only complaint is that the water pressure went out for a few minutes while I was there due to maintenance. They were insistent that they make it up to me and my family. What a wonderful stay! We were on a roof garden on New Year and enjoyed it a lot. Great menu offers and romantic music . Seeing the Palamidi view what can be better. Enjoyable , unforgettable! Nafplio is a place to visit as it is beautiful! The hotel is located in the centre of the city, next to the market and very close to the sea (10 minute-walk), the room was fantastic and the breakfast with a super view on the Fortress of Palamidi:)

Fantastic and clean hotel. Great room size and the bathroom was modern and well appointed. Short walk into Nafplio town. Comfortable beds, stylish design. Parking was available in the surrounding area. Staff are very friendly and the buffet breakfast was excellent.

Above all, ALEXANDRA at the reception is super nice : great attitude and welcoming, she gave us advice for local restaurants and the food was awesome. She also gave me an itinerary for my morning running 8/9 km which was memorable. Also all staff is nice, the bed is comfortable, the breakfast with fruits by the pool ++ and the perfect location of the hotel !

We stayed a night with our little one (3.5 years) and had a fab time. The room was well taken care of, the location is on a quiet pedestrian just a stone's throw away from the town high street and the staff has really made us feel welcomed and at home. We will certainly revisit!

So, after traveling around some of the ancient sites in Greece and staying in many ancient places (one 800 years old) this is the place to go to feel like Greece has more current places. This hotel has a pool, modern showers, laundry service, designated parking... The castle is only an 8 minute drive. There is a great little Gelato shop down by the harbor. And prices are very economical.

I went there around Christmas season in 2019. One of the best hotel stays I've had. Very clean, organised, friendly and helpful stuff and the breakfast was amazing. I can't wait to visit again.

From the first step through the front door, we were welcomed with a warm reception and a smile. The room was modern, clean and a great size for a couple, consisting of 1 bedroom, a bathroom and a balcony. Unfortunately our room had no daylight, a very hard bed and no real bedcover which made our night quite cold. The location however was good and the owner very friendly.

Nice and quiet hotel with good breakfast but about 6 km from Naflion. Notwithstanding the hotel is only 200m from the sea, I dont recomend to go there for a swim as the water is durty because its the place where all the dirt and debris from the river gets into the sea, on top its very shallow which makes it even more dirty

Rating of the hotel is and will be negatively impacted by the DJ of their own bar. DJ plays till far after midnight for an empty bar and his own sake. DJ is especially good in adding too much bass tones and by doing so disturbing hotel guest. If you are in your room sleeping or not, the bass tones are annoying and stressful. And it makes absolutely no sense to play so loud for an empty bar, no bar...

Had the good fortune to book this place over New Years. WOW. The location surely can't be beaten. You are right in the middle of cuteness. We had only drinks on a rainy afternoon. The service was very good, top class; the atmosphere was exactly what you expect from such a classy place like Nafplio. We had great cocktails and straight drinks, but i noticed a very Interesting wine celar , promoting the gems of the area.

Honestly excellent hotel in the heart of Nafplion. If you are renting a car - this is the place to stay. As someone who has had to maneuver through the tight alleways of Nafplion with a rental car - this is definitely the better option haha. The hotel itself is extremely clean, spacious, and the service is excellent!

Great hotel in a great location near the water! The hotel is a bit older but is still a great place to stay. The only downside is the washroom and shower are small. Included breakfast buffet is great, fully stocked with everything you need.

We donot have where to hang the wet clothes. It is no water at breakfast. All hotels from Chania and Agios Nikolaos offered daily a bottle of water per person.

We booked a Superior Double Room w/sea view for 5 nights. The room was very nice, updated bathroom and a beautiful view. Note that shampoo and body was not provided. Our GPS took us up Fotomara, which is one way with no outlet and was under construction. We had to back down a very narrow road, which was harrowing to say the least. The person, unfortunately, at the front desk gave us little help...

Nice clean and modern rooms. Stuff very friendly. Not very very close to city center, it is about a 10-15 min walk from the center. Room had all the amenities you need 2 towels per person, blankets and duvet. Parking is easy to find near the hotel. Only downside is that it was a little bit pricy.

Lovely stay and welcoming atmosphere. The only place to celebrate our honeymoon with us out of our whole 2 week stay in Greece. The walks around the area are great and the food at the hotel is good. Lots of different games available for you to borrow and play along with a communal TV/dvds if you wish.

It is an excellent hotel. Clean and spacious rooms. All the rooms have a nice terrace with a magnificent view. The swimming pool can be reached directly from some rooms. Check-in went smooth, although the staff didn't seem to be too excited to have guests. Rooms were spacey and clean, with all the necessities. Shower amenities hadn't been replaced, so they were half-empty. Balcony hadn't been cleaned. Beds were comfy, however the soft pillows made me lie completely flat. Unfortunately no second pillow to be found in the room.

That hotel wasn't the best I slept to a room at the ground floor(US) or first floor(UK) FOR 100€.... The rooms were simple and thankfully had a working tv... Sadly only spent one night in this lovely hotel but it was really special. The rooms were lovely, loved the round beds that were very comfy. Being right on the square it was so quiet and loved hearing the bells from the local church. The breakfast provided was yummy and the staff went above and beyond, the hotel staff Christine was especially wonderful. Highly recommend and hope to return in the future

Luxurious, high ceiling, great value, great view from room 201. Great location, just leave your car at the public parking lot at the port and you are at walking distance from the hotel to every place. Only room for improvement is the need for a bigger fridge.
