Taking the elevator to town made quick work of excursions and dinner and felt like something from a Bond movie. The staff and amenities were fantastic!

As with all the former “Ξενία” hotels that were built during the Greek junta to be run by the state, the location of Nafplia is absolutely stunning. We stayed in one of the villas

The girls at the front desk are the best! Thanks for everything! We love the breakfast also included which is top notch! Lunch by the pool and even bottle service! Dinner overlooking the whole town 5 stars! You feel like you’re on a honeymoon everyday here

Built on top of a mountain, provides breathtaking view over the city and the sea. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent place to drink a nice coffee

The views from this hotel are fabulous and the hotel has a dated but comfortable Frank Lloyd Wright/Arthur Erickson design vibe. It was a peak experience staying there. Also very relaxing bar patio with spectacular views

Staying at the Nafplia Palace was a highlight of our trip to Greece. The timeless mid-century modern design was stunning and made all the more fun with high end upgrades like single-touch lighting and curtain controls

The hotel manager - Panos is amazing. Went extra mile service for us to arrange last min laundry service so that we can get our fresh clothes before check out. Sadly there's no WiFi in the room

Great hotel in a great location near the water! The hotel is a bit older but is still a great place to stay. The only downside is the washroom and shower are small

I traveled to Nafplio by car and also by e-bike in a year. I’ve stayed in different rooms. I like the ones with the side view to the sea most. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast has a greek bufet standard

Right on the promenade with Bourtzi castle and sea view rooms. Rooms are neat and clean, but bathroom is very small and remains wet all the time. Inhouse restaurants gives 10% discount as well on food and drinks

We felt well cared for, the room was great, the seaside location a mixture of off the way quiet and central enough to be within walking distance from anywhere in old town

Excellent hotel, in the old town but slightly higher so very calm. The junior suite with sea view is great : big, high ceilings and multiple amazing views of the town and the sea

We booked a Superior Double Room w/sea view for 5 nights. The room was very nice, updated bathroom and a beautiful view. Note that shampoo and body was not provided

What a great hotel! I loved everything about it for my family of 4 - the room setup, the charm, the decor, the view from the little balcony in our room, the windows on two walls with great views, the prime location and the good breakfast

The person, unfortunately, at the front desk gave us little help on how to get out of there and on to the square below to unload our luggage. Luckily, a man taking out his bottles helped us find our way

Our GPS took us up Fotomara, which is one way with no outlet and was under construction. We had to back down a very narrow road, which was harrowing to say the least

I wish there were more stars to apply on this establishment! During serious personal matter, me and my mother found ourselves desparate searching for an accomondation at the city of Nafplio last September, in the middle of the night

From upper management to every single staff member they did their absolutely best, above and beyond to take the greatest care of us! They moved their whole schedules around to make sure we could stay couple days longer than booked, so we can recover properly till it was safe for us to drive before checking out

The staff were more than helpful and showed such a great respect and kindness on our situation that made sure accomondation was one less issue we needed to think of so we could focus on our daring and pressing matter

I will make sure to visit again under less unfortunate circumstances and absolutely will book again to this hotel for vacation and relax soon enough! Highly Recommended!!!!

Little did we know that couple of days later both, me and my mother, would be also heavily ill and we were unable to take care our personal business

They took extra care on our nutrition and made sure our breakfast was tailored in order for us to feel strong and about soon enough

Absolutely beautiful little hotel!!! Clean, comfortable and quiet. We’re staying on the top floor with two suites, connecting rooms and private balconies. Travelling with wife and three girls (Leaving tomorrow 😔)

Location is down a little street inaccessible by car which adds to its beauty and authenticity. Perhaps aptly the most sapphic we’ve ever been in. Lovely staff, great building and tasty breakfast

Staying at this place made our Nafplio trip even more special! If you have problems with walking stairs, I wouldn't recommend it since it doesn't have a elevator (due to the age of the building) and there are alot of stairs

Magnificent rooms, delightful staff and amazing breakfasts. Would be a bargain at twice the price. Lots of stairs, low doorways and twisty narrow passages so you need to have reasonable mobility

Charming balconies with seating and great black out drapes. Modern shower and facility, but the water spreads all over the bathroom floor because of the lack of proper barrier. The hotel is kind of hidden away

Great hotel, close to town with good views. A short walk down the hill into town, parking just down the road. Quiet, large rooms. There is breakfast available but we opted for local cafes (though it was always busy!)

Very nice hotel in the heart of Nafplio's old town. Our room was clean with comfortable beds. The staff were very helpful and provided us with plenty of information, restaurant recommendations etc

However, be mindful that there are a lot of stairs involved. A flight to get into the hotel and then another if you're on the second level. Good beds and linen and decent sized rooms

I suppose you can drive through the narrow alley, but there is no real parking there. There is a code for late nighters. They could use a make-up mirror and extra blankets

We parked down the alley in the free parking zone ( only the areas that have no white lines)and dragged our luggage through a beat-up alley to the hotel

The staff was great, a full breakfast, large rooms, lovely verandas with plenty of tables. It is necessary to walk up a number of steps with luggage but, if this is manageable, this is a great vintage style hotel

We always look for hotels with charm and character and Byron Hotel didn't dissapoint. A great cosy old hotel with lots of character in the old town of Nafplio with a wonderful view over the whole town and the sea

Quiet and convenient location in this wonderful town. Spotlessly clean room and helpful staff/owners. Smallish rooms and bathrooms, but for a two star hotel one cannot expect anything better.

😊 When breakfast isn't served at the hotel you'll find an electric kettle in your room with teabags, instant coffee + sugar&milk. so you can at least make a warm beverage at your leisure

It is beautifully renovated including nice details in rooms. Ours had very high sealing and natural stone walls. Best part was personnel of the hotel

After some minutes, they conducted us to our room, it was small but convenient to our needs, the rooms are located starting from the first floor, there are no lift, so you need to take your luggage through the stairs, fortunately the staff is always pleased to help you with that

We booked a room just for one night on our Journey though Greece and at our arrival, the staff helped us with our luggage and with our check in, also, they gave us some advice about the places to park our car and how to identify the forbidden ones

Wonderful, beautifully restored guest house. Our room had views of the castle, which was magical with the full moonlight! Delicious breakfast and very kind personnel. Location is quiet, yet very central

We were very lucky and found a good offer for this beautiful hotel on booking. The rooms (especially the bathroom /shower!) are very beautiful and the atmosphere makes you feel like at home

Piano bar with love piano player that finishes at 23h. Abundant breakfast buffet! 9 of us staying in three 3-bed rooms and had a blast. Strongly recommend if you are touring Peloponez!

Easily accessible to and from Nafplion. The rooms are big and comfortable. The only downside is that the rooms need renovations. Most importantly, get rid of the shower curtains! (Which were clean nonetheless)

While road noise is fine with the slider to the balcony closed, it’s glaringly loud (people, cars, motorcycles) when you open them, which you will have to do because the heat wouldn’t turn off, making the room stifling

These pale in comparison to the nightmare that is the bed. Every person we talked to in our tour group said the same: the beds are AWFUL. They might as well put a sheet on a boxspring, it’s so uncomfortable

Both evenings we opened the slider to get some cool air, and had to close them within an hour due to the overwhelming woodsmoke that filtered in. So it was either get smoked out or swelter…what a choice

The frame creaked loudly any time either of us moved, including getting in/out or just rolling over

I can’t say I’d stay here again

What a beautiful Hotel and Resort. The owners and staff couldn't be any more friendly, helpful, or welcoming. Perivoli looks exactly as pictured, but what pictures can't convey is the peacefulness of the location

Lovely stay and welcoming atmosphere. The only place to celebrate our honeymoon with us out of our whole 2 week stay in Greece. The walks around the area are great and the food at the hotel is good

Notwithstanding the hotel is only 200m from the sea, I dont recomend to go there for a swim as the water is durty because its the place where all the dirt and debris from the river gets into the sea, on top its very shallow which makes it even more dirty

Old style hotel. Nice enough. The breakfast was only ok. The bed was like a rock. I've laid down on sidewalks that were softer. But the staff was pleasant and the room nice.

Special mention to Stamatia who was always so kind and helpful (not that the other staff weren’t, she was just particularly wonderful)

Really nice positioning of the hotel, everything near Nea Kios is reachable and also is between Argos and Nauplio. Rooms were clean and nice. The beach in front of the hotel is average.

Friendly and very helpful staff . Walk out of the hotel and you are on the beach. The harbour and restaurants are in easy walking distance. A good base for touring the area.

Great hotel to stay at!! Loved our stay, and the views were absolutely fantastic. Be warned, the hill going up to the hotel (if you are driving there in a car) is a bit difficult to maneuver and park up there

Nice place outside the city centre, with a wonderful view of the Palamidi fort and the bay, prices are fare rooms are very big with balconies and all essential furniture. Very quite and relaxing.

The room was clean and big, service was the excellent. Great price. We had a balcony with an amazing view. Not very far from the old town. Mrs Evaggelia is very sweet and has a beautiful garden.

The hotel is located at the hill foot of the old castle of Nafplio. Rooms are very spacious and clean and the prices are more than reasonable

There's only a slight issue and that is you have to carry your belongings up the stairs. We were on the first floor and we only had one suitcase so we were ok but the steps are sharp for perhaps someone with sore knees

There are no swimming facilities in this hotel but swimming beaches are quite close. It is certainly a nice place to stay for visiting Nafplion -one of the most beautiful cities of Greece

The place is fine for 2 night stay to enjoy one day at some local beach and to see the fortress. In front of this hotel you will notice a strange parking lot where weird things happen every single night. Stay tuned!
