This Hotel takes you to a classic hotel, perfect if you want to experience history. It has a beautiful garden for you to enjoy with a book. Is is close to Nafplio town and if you have a car, you should stay here

Outside of town, but quiet and relaxing. Open spaces and pretty grounds. Balconies offered a cool breeze into the room. Breakfast and dinner had nice selections

Try the sour cherries next to the jams/marmalade and the sour cherry juice at the breakfast bar

This is not what Google, absurd Americanism, would call a "cozy" hotel. It is well designed, stylish in a functional way and provides all amenities. Especially if you make sure you have a balcony

But the villas are lovely, and the staff is very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast and the 2 pools. The elevator that goes down to the main town is a bit creepy, but for us it just added to the adventure

And of course there are fewer people around the swimming pools. Two beautiful, big swimming pools, well-maintained, one of them being an infinity pool. Some people say that this is not a five-star hotel

But to us, waking up every morning in such peaceful surroundings, with an amazing view of the sea and the Bourtzi, having breakfast ( beautiful by the way) on a lovely terrace opposite the Bourtzi is worth the five stars

We had a very spacious, well-appointed bedroom with terrace, perfectly cleaned everyday, and yes there are problems with the wifi, precisely because it is a large complex and the thick rustic stone walls do not help

We stayed in the hotel in 2018. We decided to come back this year, the main hotel is now closed, only the villas/bungalows are available. Which makes the whole complex very quiet, an oasis of serenity

The switches in the room take a little while to get used to, so I would recommend people to stay for several nights, it is really worth it! All the staff are wonderful

Location is excellent in the old town. A smaller hotel offering very clean and unique rooms. Each room has key pieces of furniture to make you feel at home. Reception staff excellent and helpful

We had a wonderful two night stay in Room 301. The room was quiet, large, and clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly

They even mopped the entire bathroom during our stay and sprayed our linens with a nice relaxing fragrance

The bed is a mystery - wood corners stick out so far that I hit my shin at least for times. They also don’t give you a duvet; it’s a very thin top sheet only and I froze during the night at the height of summer

Walking distance to all the beautiful waterfront restaurants. Breakfast in the dining area good. Great fresh squeezed orange juice. Ask for a kettle if you want for your room as they don’t leave them in the room

I seem to disagree with other reviewers about this hotel. It was our least favorite during our two week trip to Greece. First of all, the pictures on their website are definitely airbrushed or out of date

This is a Spa Hotel so you can reserve a massage and with your stay you have free use of the outdoor spa and pool. Book ahead and get the rooms with the great views

A nice hotel, with a helpful and kind staff, well designed rooms; a clean and reasonably arranged pool area. We would like to return there in the future!

Despite the small size of the hotel, the breakfasts offered a huge variety of hot and cold food, notably the Greek pies and cakes were delicious! We did not use the spa facilities, but the poolside was a relaxing spot to be after a day’s sightseeing

First of all i want to say how good our stay was in Kanathos Pigi! We have been in Greece for two weeks and this was a surprise as well as a warm welcome to arrive at such personal and beautiful stay! We loved the rooms and especially the breakfast

The Kanathos Pigi Hotel was an excellent find, a truly fabulous hotel with outstanding facilities and service, just a few minutes’ drive out of Nafplio! We had a family wedding in Nafplio and stayed here for two weeks in August

The bathroom was modern with plenty of shelf space and hooks for towels and toiletries

They truly understood the meaning of hospitality, kindly accommodating all our comfort requests, including the incredibly thoughtful gesture of extending our access to the swimming pool

Love this establishment! The staff are both kind and accommodating. The owners have been beyond helpful. The food, excellent, the service outstanding, the view and pool, stellar!

The warm athmosphere makes you feel you have the place all to yourselves. Amazing pool, open from 9am untill 7pm. Breakfast is served at your table- all very fresh

A Hidden Gem with Heart! Wow! What an absolute find this place was! From the moment we arrived, even though it was a last-minute booking and quite late, we were met with the most wonderful and welcoming staff who went above and beyond to make us feel at home

After a long journey, that dip was pure bliss! And let's talk about the setting – simply breathtaking! The views of the surrounding hills are magnificent, creating a serene and picturesque backdrop that you could stare at for hours

Just outside of town, very quiet, amazing views, large clean rooms, spotless property, shaded parking, friendly helpful hosts, the best breakfast and a pool to cool off in after a day of exploring

Pros: nice spacious and modern room, clean, decent poolside area for c. 8 guestrooms, good breakfast selection, helpful staff. Cons: on a hillside up narrow roads, 10 min drive from Nafplia centre

My husband and I were very happy with our lovely apartment. We enjoyed after a busy day hanging out around the beautiful pool and reading on our balcony overlooking Nafplio

The hotel has different themed decorated rooms adding to its rich history, character and charm. We chose the Suite of Sun and it did not disappoint. The hotel is centrally located in the old town part of Napflio

Probably the best hotel I have ever been. the atmosphere is unique and the comfort. We were on honeymoon and it was for sure a great choice. the room was amazing and the breakfast with classic music even better

Elias had great suggestions for the area for touring and driving around this part of the Peloponnese. The staff really all are a happy group working together and it shows in the vibe of the place

Location is down a little street inaccessible by car which adds to its beauty and authenticity. Perhaps aptly the most sapphic we’ve ever been in. Lovely staff, great building and tasty breakfast

The Avra hotel in Nafplion is a lovely little boutique hotel located within walking distance to Old Town, a plethora of restaurants, shopping, cafes, bakeries and supermarkets

The pool was Kind of dirty from fallen leaves but otherwise nice to swim in. The pool towel service was excellent. The pool bar closed earlier than stated on the hotel information

Although the hotel looks pretty new there a several things out of order (lights, room doorbell), rusty (pool bar, shower) or with reduced service (pool operating hours 12am-7

The room is huge and airy, the hotel is very quiet, but the absolute best part is staying in a room that has a balcony overlooking the square! What a highlight! Enjoying a glass of wine while watching the action in the town square was such a joy

We thought we might be disturbed by the noise in the square but once inside the room you could not hear anything from outside. The morning breakfast was delicious. and large!!! Highly recommend this hotel

The front desk staff "Maria" is friendly and very helpful. We had a room facing the square. The noise at night was very light and by 11p pretty quiet. But our visit was not during the high season

We spent 2 night at the Xenin Inn at the end of our 11 day Greece trip after Santorini’s and Athens. I wish we’d had another night there as there’s so many wonderful things to do in the area

It’s a tad tricky to find the place initially so follow the clear instructions to the letter. It’s a small pension above a charming bar/cafe, on a vibrant and beautiful square

And yet the room itself was quiet, not noisy like I had expected. The hotel accommodated a slightly later checkout so that we would not have to store our luggage

The hotel is located in the old town, at a stone throw to everything. Parking is not allowed at the premises, however you can load/unload luggages in front of the hotel

Our room is at the top, with a jacuzzi in the balcony, which will need to take steps for the highest foor. With heavy luggage, would be good to request rooms on 1st floor with direct lift access instead

Had the good fortune to book this place over New Years. The location surely can't be beaten. You are right in the middle of cuteness. An easy walk to great restaurants, shops, the shore and walks

It was so rich! The seafood restaurant recommended by the beautiful lady at the front desk was also great. It is a family restaurant that has been passed down for five generations for 150 years

The hotel sent a breakfast box the night before, which was actually a full set of two breakfasts moved to the room, including bread, desserts, eggs, yogurt, fruit plates, and honey

The pool is lovely and there are some very sweet cats around. It is clear that the owners care a lot. Food-wise, the souvlaki was absolutely huge and was a particular standout

The rooms are spacious and beautifully constructed with materials such as stone sinks. The pool is surrounded by a garden that invites one to stay and luxuriate

The cuisine was delicious and we were so happy to have dinner there twice. Everyone who made our stay welcome was attentive and hospitable. The hotel is also close to downtown

Small hotel located outside the city but close enough to the city. Staff with excellent service awareness, including room service and an excellent breakfast.

The restaurant was superb, but is right next to the pool if you have little ones. They even let us eat in our room for no extra charge (when our toddler was being particularly challenging!)

The breakfast was great, the pool was small but perfect, you’re close to the castle and the beach. Nafplio was a 10 min jog down the hill or a 20 min walk and there is free parking at the port

Room was spacious and clean, had a small terrace 3. Suoer easy check in and chek out. Parking is kind of far, not very far, about 5-10 min walk, with luggage is kind of tricky

You have to carry the luggage two floors so be prepared. Overall ia a great place to stay, in the heart of Nafplio, will stay there again

Very very nice and friendly owner, feels like coming home. Does nearly everything to make guests happy. Perfect location in the middle of the town with plenty taverns next to it. Very nice rooms.

Great location and lovely staff! We enjoyed our stay very much, but the sofa wasn't very comfortable for the kids.

I was so happy with our stay in this amazing place. Check in was easy with very helpful staff. The room was clean, the beds were excellent with quality mattress. and bedding was luxurious and comfy

Cute and quirky, but third floor room stairs are for people under 30 looking for adventure. Parking is on the quay or street and VERY hard to find. Room had a great terrace, and nice enough-good AC too

The space of this room is quite big comparing to other pensions. It is very clean and tidy.

For the price, the hotel is great. Hopefully it gets a bathroom renovation soon and a slight update to the room. But for the location and that it’s in an absolutely beautiful and historic building, I’d stay again.

We’re above a busy bar, it’s loud up until 11-12pm after that silence. No elevators, no parking as per their amenities. We got lucky with a spot by the docks at n/c. It’s clean, management are readily available.

Bathroom in our room dated and needs a bit of TLC

I had the downstairs room which was very cute and just what I needed as a solo traveler. It was spotless and towels were changed regularly. The owner and staff couldn't of been any helpful and accommodating

Highlight the kettle in the room , with tea and some coffee , the slippers , the super fragrant towels , unbelievable mattresses

It was walking distance to the centre of the old town. There were alot of steps though so anyone with walking difficulties might have an issue. The only downside I would say is that there was a damp smell in the room

Very nice place in the old Town of Nafplio. Pretty rooms, perfect service and good prices. Everything was very clean and if you need anything the hosts will always help you. I hope I can come back soon. :)

They were so warm and welcoming, the location is so charming and picturesque! Set just below the castle, I'm not sure there's a better location in all of town! The room we had itself was pretty cramped and basic, but comfortable (and a great value), and we loved the view out our window over town

But what was best of all was the warm hospitality of our host, everything from fetching us when we were lost trying to find the location to going above and beyond to make sure that our stay was comfortable

Everything was perfect about our stay. The room was gloriously large, beautifully decorated, one could almost say glamorously beautiful. The view from the balcony was breathtaking

We enjoyed the location including the steps down into the town. I would not, however, recommend this accommodation for people unable or unwilling to walk up and down hills/steps

This was a beautiful pension in a lovely location. The room was large and comfortable. The pension is located on the side of a hill, just below one of the castles in town

Breakfast was so good - and so much! Beautiful Greek pastries, terrific yoghurt and honey, cake, eggs, great coffee, goodness, don't even know where to start here
