Nafplio is a magical place! A hidden gem in Greece! I could live here! Quaint, quiet, amazing people & easy to walk around!

Huge room. Huge bathroom. Room with a view of the sun setting over water. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Loved it! Great service!!

While road noise is fine with the slider to the balcony closed, it’s glaringly loud (people, cars, motorcycles) when you open them, which you will have to do because the heat wouldn’t turn off, making the room stifling

These pale in comparison to the nightmare that is the bed. Every person we talked to in our tour group said the same: the beds are AWFUL. They might as well put a sheet on a boxspring, it’s so uncomfortable

Both evenings we opened the slider to get some cool air, and had to close them within an hour due to the overwhelming woodsmoke that filtered in. So it was either get smoked out or swelter…what a choice

There was no sunroof deck, just a bare space with no furniture, floorboards coming up. Room was tiny, no shelves or hooks in bathroom, had to move three sets of sliding doors to open the small drawers

The location is right in the centre of Nafplio and the room was very well equipped, neat and decorated beautifully. We appreciated the little balcony, the assortiment of bathroom products and the bed

Upon our arrival, they showed us numerous rooms in different buildings and we chose which one we wanted, which was an amazing suite with castle and sea views from the balcony. The staff was beyond expected hospitality

My only feedback for the breakfast buffet would be to stop handing out plastic gloves to be more environmentally friendly, but I understand this is a challenge in COVID times

Lovely hotel in a great location. Rooms are tastefully decorated, staff are brilliant and the breakfast was tasty and varied. Spending time on the balcony was a delight.

Location is excellent in the old town. A smaller hotel offering very clean and unique rooms. Each room has key pieces of furniture to make you feel at home. Reception staff excellent and helpful

We had a wonderful two night stay in Room 301. The room was quiet, large, and clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly

They even mopped the entire bathroom during our stay and sprayed our linens with a nice relaxing fragrance

The bed is a mystery - wood corners stick out so far that I hit my shin at least for times. They also don’t give you a duvet; it’s a very thin top sheet only and I froze during the night at the height of summer

Walking distance to all the beautiful waterfront restaurants. Breakfast in the dining area good. Great fresh squeezed orange juice. Ask for a kettle if you want for your room as they don’t leave them in the room

I seem to disagree with other reviewers about this hotel. It was our least favorite during our two week trip to Greece. First of all, the pictures on their website are definitely airbrushed or out of date

Standard breakfast buffet - unremarkable by international standards, but as good as most Greek hotels offer. Reception desk not manned overnight: key to outside entrance door provided for access after hours

A great 3 night stay at this quaint hotel. We were originally booked to stay somewhere else but when that didn't happen we booked into the Dias, so glad we did

The staff, Kostas and Angie were so helpful in giving suggestions on the area and places to eat. If we return to Nafplio will definitely stay here again

We stayed one night there with my friends and I have to say it's the most amazing star hotel I have ever been to! The breakfast so nice, rooms clean and cozy, perfect view of Palamidi and overall PERFECT!! Totally recommend for schools trips or family trips

As someone who has had to maneuver through the tight alleways of Nafplion with a rental car - this is definitely the better option haha. The hotel itself is extremely clean, spacious, and the service is excellent!

Just steps away from the tavernas, shops, and cafes located right below, this is a great location to savor the local flavors waiting to be enjoyed. The harbor promenade is a must when the sun goes down

Be prepared for steep stairs here, so bring sensible shoes and have good legs for navigating this place and the hilly neighborhood around you

The staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very nice. Overall a pretty enjoyable stay and the location is ideal since its located right next to one of the most central squares in Nafplio

I stayed in two rooms; the superior double and the deluxe double suite. The first one even though it was generally a good room, it was a bit small for its price. It had a cute, albeit tiny, balcony with a great view

The second room was very very nice. It's spacious and it has an amazing view of the castle and a huge and spacious terrace with views of all the beautiful spots of the city

The hotel facilities state there is a sun terrace which was indeed accessible through the stairs. Ontop there is a large area filled with chairs and tables(about 4 sets of chairs+tables and even a couch)

When we went up there for the evening the tenants of the room on that floor told us the terrace is private for this room only and called the receptionist who told us we werent allowed up there

We were not happy with the breakfast. Room was clean and well appointed but the central AC unit struggled to keep the room cool

This was a very nice hotel, located in the historic district and walking distance to everything. Our family of six had three different rooms

All had queen sized beds, well equipped bathrooms, and different sized sitting areas. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice views too

The view from our room was incredible- it's got to be the best view in town! The breakfast was delicious with so much choice. The staff in the hotel were really kind and helpful

In the heart of town with walking distance to the nice part of the old city - there is no parking and access there is a bit challenging due to to it being in a mainly pedestrian area Overall strongly recommended and we will definitely come back!

We stayed in the Downtown Hotel in April 2019. We were very lucky that when we booked they only had the loft room available. The room was excellent with a rooftop terrace, with great views of the town and fortress

The hotel is on the other side of Nafplio away from the center and water front. The hotel is old and has a weird smell. There are no amenities at the hotel and parking is difficult to find

The Rrx was within easy walking distance to the waterfront and fortress. Roomy lobby with a well-stocked breakfast buffet. Easy parking on the street right outside.

I visited the place as a guest's visitor. The hotel is well situated outside but very close to the historical part of the city. Parking may be a problem depending on the time of the day

Well located, in an area with restaurants and shops, close to the center. The room was comfortable and clean.

Minus is parking, which is not at the hotel, and you have to spend some time looking for a spot, and be careful to not park at the resident’s place, the reception should instruct you about it

Service was awesome, and the lady at the front desk was of great help. Overall it was good experience and we will still consider visiting the hotel again in the future

It is a small boutique hotel with just a few rooms, ours was a little small but was clean, had a nice tiled bathroom, and was exactly what we were expecting based on the pictures

The Avra hotel in Nafplion is a lovely little boutique hotel located within walking distance to Old Town, a plethora of restaurants, shopping, cafes, bakeries and supermarkets

While located on a busy road on one side, you cannot hear the traffic at all, making for a restful sleep. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms large

Rooms are good sized, spotless with a decent bathroom and good quality air con. Breakfast is a mix of continental & Greek dishes served from a well stocked buffet - very pleasant

We picked this hotel because od the pool and that saved us on so many hot days

The location is fantastic, to the KTEL bus station it is a 5 min walk, which is along a lovely garden in the middle of the street, there is a local super market and coffee shop. Close to car rental places too

The highlight of the hotel is the kindness and hospitality of the personel! :) It is located in a 5-10min walking distance from city centre, therefore very convenient! What I didn't like that much is that: a) the shower is very small and protected via a curtain, which is constantly touching your body while showering

From upper management to every single staff member they did their absolutely best, above and beyond to take the greatest care of us! They moved their whole schedules around to make sure we could stay couple days longer than booked, so we can recover properly till it was safe for us to drive before checking out

The hotel is pretty old and the rooms are in desperate need of a spruce. The walls were dirty and, in general, the room could have been cleaner. Also, the walls are paper thin so do not expect to sleep in here
