Best Hotels in Nafplio

If you are into 70ies architecture, this is the place you must stay. The hotel is a bit run down here and there, but overall still in good shape. The staff is very friendly and deliveres a very good service.

The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are nice and the view is great.

Having said that, the location was fantastic (high up over the town with amazing views), the rooms excellent (but a bit worn), the service superb and a very good restaurant

Despite its faults this hotel is amazing. The architecture and the location are stunning. If you need to be Wi-Fi it isn’t for you but the 5G signal is excellent and served us well

This was the seventh (and last) of our hotels in our 14 day tour around the Mani. We had 3 nights booked as a final relaxation in a much loved town

Considering that this hotel might regard itself as the premier hotel in Naflion it was a bit of a disappointment. Only half was open (early season) and this was showing signs of wear in places

The rooftop restaurant the food and drinks were good but the service was different than what we normally anticipate (being Canadian)

We were on a roof garden on New Year and enjoyed it a lot. Great menu offers and romantic music. Seeing the Palamidi view what can be better. Enjoyable , unforgettable! The most romantic place in Nafplio definitely

Great room size and the bathroom was modern and well appointed. Comfortable beds, stylish design. Parking was available in the surrounding area. Staff are very friendly and the buffet breakfast was excellent

The hotel is located in the old town, at a stone throw to everything. Parking is not allowed at the premises, however you can load/unload luggages in front of the hotel

Our room is at the top, with a jacuzzi in the balcony, which will need to take steps for the highest foor. With heavy luggage, would be good to request rooms on 1st floor with direct lift access instead

It was so rich! The seafood restaurant recommended by the beautiful lady at the front desk was also great. It is a family restaurant that has been passed down for five generations for 150 years

The hotel sent a breakfast box the night before, which was actually a full set of two breakfasts moved to the room, including bread, desserts, eggs, yogurt, fruit plates, and honey

The room has a small balcony, where you can sit outside and drink coffee when the sun is shining. The hotel's restaurant environment and breakfast are great

I traveled to Nafplio by car and also by e-bike in a year. I’ve stayed in different rooms. I like the ones with the side view to the sea most. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast has a greek bufet standard

The hotel manager - Panos is amazing. Went extra mile service for us to arrange last min laundry service so that we can get our fresh clothes before check out. Sadly there's no WiFi in the room

Delightfully friendly, superbly managed and in a superb position. Excellent breakfast.

There is one thing though, if you are a sensitive sleeper: make sure you don't fall asleep very late because there is a lot of noise in the morning

The church nearby starts to "bang" at 8 am, and closed windows and the ear plugs that they provide (2 pairs) didn't help me personally. The cleaner is loud in the hallways

I could hear the noises of the vacuum cleaner next door. But i still give the hotel 5 stars

What a great hotel! I loved everything about it for my family of 4 - the room setup, the charm, the decor, the view from the little balcony in our room, the windows on two walls with great views, the prime location and the good breakfast

Excellent hotel, in the old town but slightly higher so very calm. The junior suite with sea view is great : big, high ceilings and multiple amazing views of the town and the sea

I went there around Christmas season in 2019. One of the best hotel stays I've had. Very clean, organised, friendly and helpful stuff and the breakfast was amazing. I can't wait to visit again.

From the first step through the front door, we were welcomed with a warm reception and a smile. The room was modern, clean and a great size for a couple, consisting of 1 bedroom, a bathroom and a balcony

This hotel has a pool, modern showers, laundry service, designated parking. The castle is only an 8 minute drive. There is a great little Gelato shop down by the harbor. And prices are very economical

Staff were incredibly lovely, super helpful and the place on a whole was pristine and following covid guidelines. Parking is at the back of the building, we missed it but easy to find once you know

So, after traveling around some of the ancient sites in Greece and staying in many ancient places (one 800 years old) this is the place to go to feel like Greece has more current places

Very nice location next to the sea very close to nafplio, beautiful City. The room was spacious comfortable bed with an extra sofa. The breakfast was really good big selection of cold and hot food

Amazingly good A/C machine and quiet. Breakfast was excellent with a large choice with some hot dishes. Our only minor concern was the level of room lighting with obviously power saving bulbs

Location is excellent in the old town. A smaller hotel offering very clean and unique rooms. Each room has key pieces of furniture to make you feel at home. Reception staff excellent and helpful

We had a wonderful two night stay in Room 301. The room was quiet, large, and clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly

They even mopped the entire bathroom during our stay and sprayed our linens with a nice relaxing fragrance

The bed is a mystery - wood corners stick out so far that I hit my shin at least for times. They also don’t give you a duvet; it’s a very thin top sheet only and I froze during the night at the height of summer

Walking distance to all the beautiful waterfront restaurants. Breakfast in the dining area good. Great fresh squeezed orange juice. Ask for a kettle if you want for your room as they don’t leave them in the room

I seem to disagree with other reviewers about this hotel. It was our least favorite during our two week trip to Greece. First of all, the pictures on their website are definitely airbrushed or out of date

You can enjoy on-site meals, cocktail bar, wine, a pool, and groves of lemon, orange, mandarin, apricot, and olive trees. It only takes about 15 min to go into Nafplio for siteseeing, shopping, and nightlife

Good position near the beach and the city centre,but be careful for the indication on the road, it's a little hidden. Rooms are new with a beautiful view, breakfast is very good and the personnel is very kind

It has a great pool and the best thing is the staff - thay are all so kind and welcoming, especially Maria from the reception, she has a lot of knowledge on the area and good recommendations

We stayed at Asteria hotel for 10 days and we enjoyed every second of it. It has a great location, 15 minutes drive to the beautiful Nafplio, nice view to the sea, main street of Tolo is in 3 minutes of walking

Gluten Free options clearly identified for evening Dinner. Great atmosphere at the swimming pool and bar area with excellent service and drinks are perfectly cold. Breathtaking view of Tolo seafront and surrounding areas

I booked a room in Tolo and my stay was really good . They outclassed me because I have booked earlier online, I had a splendid view on the beach from the balcony . Highly recommended

Even my 4-year-old was, "This is amazing". I really enjoyed the view of the bay my self. It is an excellent breakfast and has everything you are used to having

I was in a hotel with 3 children! The hotel staff is really friendly and helps you feel really welcoming. The location is not on the beach, but it has an amazing view, which is worth it

I had a special request because of the nature of my trip, and the hotel managed to fulfil the special request. Tolo Beach area is a perfect location to be with children - it is safe

Food was ok, location of hotel was good, but so much street noise at night that it was a problem sleeping (and we live on a noisy street in Manhattan, so we are used to noise)

While road noise is fine with the slider to the balcony closed, it’s glaringly loud (people, cars, motorcycles) when you open them, which you will have to do because the heat wouldn’t turn off, making the room stifling

These pale in comparison to the nightmare that is the bed. Every person we talked to in our tour group said the same: the beds are AWFUL. They might as well put a sheet on a boxspring, it’s so uncomfortable

Both evenings we opened the slider to get some cool air, and had to close them within an hour due to the overwhelming woodsmoke that filtered in. So it was either get smoked out or swelter…what a choice
