Kanathos Pigi in Nafplio

Really, really enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights for the first part of our Greece trip. Nafplio is such a wonderful city to experience and the rooms, staff, amenities, and food were all exceptional. We felt so welcomed and very relaxed during our stay. Family of 4 with two teenage daughters.

A nice hotel, with a helpful and kind staff, well designed rooms; a clean and reasonably arranged pool area. We would like to return there in the future!

The Kanathos Pigi Hotel was an excellent find, a truly fabulous hotel with outstanding facilities and service, just a few minutes’ drive out of Nafplio! We had a family wedding in Nafplio and stayed here for two weeks in August. The hotel manager, Lia, and the rest of the team made us feel welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a good-sized balcony (and a useful drying frame for wet beachwear). The bathroom was modern with plenty of shelf space and hooks for towels and toiletries. Despite the small size of the hotel, the breakfasts offered a huge variety of hot and cold food, notably the Greek pies and cakes were delicious! We did not use the spa facilities, but the poolside was a relaxing spot to be after a day’s sightseeing. Additionally, there was ample parking for all guests. We do not regularly write reviews, but this small family-run hotel deserves all the support and recognition we can give, and we cannot speak highly enough of their efficiency, friendliness and the comfort, not to mention Lia’s patience and help with my beginner’s Greek!

Our stay at Kanathos Pigi was probably our best memory in Greece! Everyone was wonderful - warm and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were large, breakfast was delicious and kids enjoyed the heated pool in April. We definitely hope to be back soon!

This is an excellent hotel for the price. Lia and the rest of the staff make you feel at home and do everything possible to make your trip special. It is a small hotel, but the rooms are generously sized, and all seemed to have a balcony. It is just a few minutes drive to downtown Nafplio, but you really can't walk to the town. The hotel is nestled deep into a residential neighborhood, that is not touristy, though there are a few restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely recommend the hotel to those who want to enjoy the area, but don't want to be in the relatively busy and congested Nafplio Old Town area.

Beyond our expectations! We booked the hotel because we needed a relaxing break for our road trip. Everything was amazing! Due to low season, we enjoyed outdoor facilities all by our own, clean, beautiful, comfortable! Breakfast was unbelievable great and not expensive at all. What’s impressive is in the room, they offer different kinds of pillows, we had a wonderful rest!

First of all i want to say how good our stay was in Kanathos Pigi! We have been in Greece for two weeks and this was a surprise as well as a warm welcome to arrive at such personal and beautiful stay! We loved the rooms and especially the breakfast. We would sure recommend this to everyone! This should have been a five star hotel!

The staff here is wonderful. The breakfasts are great and the rooms are superb. The property manager Lia was very accommodating and a cheerful presence every day. It's located 5 minutes from Napflio but in a quiet setting away from the crowds, this was a relaxing home base for us during our 6 day stay in Peloponnese. This is a Spa Hotel so you can reserve a massage and with your stay you have free use of the outdoor spa and pool. Book ahead and get the rooms with the great views.

The host was welcoming and can speak English . They have a good breakfast that has homemade omelette , juice, pies and more which is a plus .
The only downside is the coffee was undrinkable from the coffee machine . They should work on a better coffee machine or just do brewed cafe and milk on the side .
The hotel is in a quiet area and very clean rooms also . It’s about 1,5 km to the city center if you want to have dinner or do some shopping.
Overall it was a good stay

A truly delightful oasis!! We loved it, beautiful decorations, wonderful breakfast, the pool and sitting areas outside very relaxing. Wish we could have stayed longer!!
