Overlooking the beautiful Sunset over the Aegean Sea, the property has both the best ocean view and walkable convenience to the town of Oia. Villas are super beautiful and spacious, offering private pool and privacy

The room was amazing, the service was prompt and attentive, the view of the ocean and sunset was perfect, the large, comfortable bed was perfect for a good night's sleep, and the pool was truly amazing

The only drawback is that if you have just got off the plane with a lot of luggage and choose to take the local public bus to the hotel, it will be inconvenient because you have to walk a long slope or stairs beside the road after getting off the bus

The hotel staff is very friendly and polite! There is a small path leading to Oia from the hotel, which is about a 10-minute walk

All staff were lovely but there was one bartender by the pool called George and he was extremely friendly and helpful and went above and beyond for me and my boyfriend!

The breakfast options here were vast and all as good as each other. Waking up to a huge amazing breakfast every morning on your terrace looking out at the caldera is something I will miss for the rest of my life

They recommended restaurants for us, then helped by booking them for us, even remember to ask us how it was after we came back. Same goes for all of the excursions and trips they helped book too

With plenty of space, welcome air conditioning and a gorgeous rain shower, we couldn't have asked for more. We were greeted with the friendliest of service by all members of staff and nothing was too much for them

Our favourite parts of Secret Legends suites was the location and the view. Below the hustle and bustle of Oia centre, you entered through a private gate and the view was out of this world of the Caldera

It's almost 10 mins walk which is very difficult with kids and luggage. The wind is crazy due to which our 1 day was wasted as we were unable to do anything

The host met us where the car dropped us off, and he helped take our bags and show us the way. If I come back to Santorini in the future, there isn’t another place I would stay! What a wonderful experience!!!

You are right at the start of the stairs and the old castle, and shopping and food. The bed was comfortable, the hosts took care of every need, and the entire area was clean and perfect for our stay

Eva was the kindest and most gracious host I've seen. She actually cares for her customers and wants them to have a good time! She casually brought us cut watermelon one night. Gave us a lift downtown another time

We were upgraded and I would advise to go for number 25 or equivalent 😂 Food is amazing and I understand why they don’t do all inclusive as the standards are high and they would go bankrupt 😂Thank you all so much for everything and will definitely be back again

The food is excellent, we had Octopus and meatballs for starters and the sea brass for main - absolutely fabulous!

Where to start… the staff were all so accommodating and went above and beyond for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again. I don’t understand the star rating as it should be a 4 star

Firstly, the safe in our room was not secured to anything so a thief could have walked off with our passports quite easily. Also the pool was making loud gurgling noises every day which became really annoying

If you could fix those then it would be perfect. Room was basic but cleaned with fresh towels daily. Walk in shower and powerful aircon. Nice pool, a bit chilly in October but ok for a dip

Breakfast was excellent, breads, cake, cooked food, fruit, yoghurt. We were stuffed every morning. Nearby bus stop and a path that takes you to the top of the ridge with views over Oia

The pool is open to anyone, not just guests! It was a nice break from the touristy Oia - and very close to the city so that we could go back there for dinner. Stop by if you’re in the area!

Very close to Oia by main road. Provided us with map of the island and information regarding places to visit. Even gave information about a ferry. Bed comfortable enough but could be a bit longer and less noisy

The hotel owners were so lovely and were there to greet us as we left and upon arriving every evening, to see if there was anything we needed. I'd be more than happy to go back!

Because of the walk, we were able to see beautiful views and the other side of the island, which I wouldn't have been able to see if not for this hotel

Well located just off the main street with great views of the caldera! The villa is only a 2 min climb from one of the most scenic spot in Oia! Big room that had all required amenities

Our stay was more than we could have imagined. The best part of our stay was Lily! She helped our family arrange a boat tour, transports, beach stay, and luggage pickup. She made our stay seamless here

There are 4 bedrooms spread out for maximum privacy. There are multiple different decks and terraces with incredible views. We had an incredible breakfast on the covered terrace overlooking the sea every morning

The house is perched on the edge of a 10m high cliff, and stone steps directly from the property lead down to the beach. This is a pebble and stone affair so you will need beach and swimming shoes

The beach is clearly visible from the Villas terrace so you can let the children loose on the beach and keep an eye on them from above. The host is very responsive and helpful

I highly recommend Tholos Resort and would definitely go back! If you stay here, I recommend rental a car to explore different parts of Santorini because it's not just Oia and Fira

The hotel has a stunning outlook with basically everything catered for. Likewise the food was delicious & the dining area located on the cliff side allowed uninterrupted views of the port & the sunset in the evening

All in all a brilliant hotel & we can totally recommend it BUT’ a word of warning! There are 147 pretty much straight up steps from the lower rooms to the entrance of the hotel!! Quite hard work after breakfast as no lift! Many thanks to Tim & his team of wonderful hosts for our short break

It was winter, low season, so there were not many customers, but I think it's a good hotel. However, it is not located in a location with a sea view of Santorini

The reception immediately said yes and refused payment, saying this is their hospitality. If this is how they treat strangers, I can only imagine the amazing service guests receive thank you so much!!

The resort also does a free transfer taxi service from and to airport if you book via their website. There is also a small tourist tax you will have to pay at end of stay which we assumed was included

But it’s a standard tourist hotel tax so not surprised. Breakfast has good variety, the portion sizes were very big and you get an option of fresh orange juice or fresh filter coffee for drinks

Therefore walking is not an option and you will have to factor in car hire or the resort’s subsidised taxi service to and from most regions in Santorini

We had the Honeymoon Villa, very clean room, very well made up and decorated. Lovely big infinity pool at 1

We had a wonderful stay at Desiterra resort. We would like to come back someday and would highly recommend it. The resort is a bit isolated

This resort is ideal for a relaxing getaway where you reside mostly in the resort and less ideal if your goal is to mainly explore/travel around Santorini. The staff all had a positive, attentive attitude

As noted in other reviews, it's not in the middle of major tourist hubs though that has advantages. It's quiet and private and a nice break from the louder beach scene into the night

Pool and dining room in this one. The air conditioning blew directly in your face when you were in bed. The menu could include something more than kebab meat and other fish

They offer pick-up from the Port or Airport, which I very much recommend if you're not familiar with Santorini (it can be tricky, trust me). The breakfast is just beautiful and plentiful
