Hector Cave House

The view is unbeatable.

It's definitely worth staying for couple of nights there. Anathesia and Dimitri were great host and very helpful with the bags to reach all the way to the cave from the post office. It's almost 10 mins walk which is very difficult with kids and luggage.

The wind is crazy due to which our 1 day was wasted as we were unable to do anything. It becomes really windy and cold outside at evening, so with kids very hard to enjoy dinner and pool outside.

The host and stay was great. Wish they had at least a microwave that would ease up heating food , water and milk for kids in middle of night.

Ola is little difficult location for families and not so family friendly however better choice would have been thira.

Next time, that would be our choice of stay.

We had a fantastic stay in September for a couple of nights to end our holiday on a high! The room we has was insane! It had such a wonderful energy and was well decorated felt very homely too. Everyone was so friendly and the rooms are cleaned everyday. Fantastic location and brilliant communication too with all the staff.

Stayed in the Nest. This is a prime spot to stay. You are right at the start of the stairs and the old castle, and shopping and food.
The bed was comfortable, the hosts took care of every need, and the entire area was clean and perfect for our stay.
The host met us where the car dropped us off, and he helped take our bags and show us the way.
If I come back to Santorini in the future, there isn’t another place I would stay!

5 star stay . Dana, Dimitris and Anastasia were very very superb in their helpful nature and service , couldn't have asked for more, i mean they were one of the best guest handlers i've ever seen . They helped us with all detail we could need . Hector cave house is a must stay and value for money .
The full house was absolutely more than fantastic, like it has a beautiful vibe you dont wanna leave ever , good spaces used and big and spacious house , warm jacuzzi , superb .

Wow! The view is unbeatable, the cave house itself has all the comforts you need, and the staff is incredible - Anastasia and Donna were so friendly and wonderful communicators. Dimitri was a pro with our luggage. We absolutely loved our experience (and both of our tubs - cool and warm!!) and *highly* recommend for anyone looking to soak in Santorini. Thank you!!

We stayed in the 'Nest' which is the top most house out of the 3. It's the smallest one but that makes it the most romantic and coziest for couples. The views are unbelievably incredible and even though it's in the really busy area of Oia, you can't hear anything from inside. Even sitting on the terrace, the noise is very minimal.

Our arrival experience with the ferry and transfer to Oia was very hectic and overwhelming, but Dana and her husband waited for us and we couldn't be more grateful to them. Absolutely amazing customer service. They met us at the post office and immediately took all of our luggage and walked us to the house. Dana explained everything so well and gave us some great recommendations about the area which we really appreciated. Our plans for the checkout day were somewhat abnormal because we were taking an overnight ferry and they did their best to help us with a later checkout and Anastasia helped to arrange a car rental for us that we could use for the day and then drop off at the port before we left. Just really incredible people who go out of their way to help with everything.

The house itself was beautiful and so clean. It's located just a few steps away from the busiest sunset viewpoints so you do have to be prepared that it's going to be packed with tourists everywhere you go. It's annoying if you hate crowds and people standing around waiting for that perfect Instagram picture, but we knew this was the case with Oia so we didn't let it bother us. We were there for the view too! Can't recommend this place enough!

Great place to stay and it’s close by everything!!!! Only one negative that is in the most popular area so there’s too many tourists but love the place

One of our most favorite places that we have stayed so far. It's close to all the shops and restaurants but still has such a feel of privacy. The views are incredible and make you just want to stay on the balcony or on the plunge pool all day.

Stayed at Hector’s Cave house between the 21st and the 24th of July 2020 and it was one of the best experiences we ever had! The house is located in Oia with stunning views of the Aegean. It was exactly as described nothing less than what we expected. We were welcomed by Dana and Dimitris, very friendly and helpful and they gave us directions and recommendations for the whole island and some great restaurant recommendations too! Due to the weird Covid-19 situation they even took our temperature to make sure everyone is safe :) The house is under the earth meaning that we didn’t even need aircondition during the night (even though the temperature was almost 30degrees outside) the house was cool enough. Beautiful little interior design details made the house warm and welcoming -Giannis is taking great care of it! The jacuzzi in the terrace is a great addition for the hot summer days -or nights! Totally recommend this place to stay in Santorini, the views are breathtaking, the hosts are the best you could ever wish for and The views are unique! Thank you Giannis, Dana and Dimitris!! :)
