Dinner as recommended from our waiter! Omg Greek salad with the absolute best olive oil and feta we have ever tasted. The main course was foodie heaven

I've stayed twice at this hotel and the staff have always been pleasant. The food is nice and simple with good options available. The beds for me are firm and comfortable but firmness isn't for everyone.

Good location but it a bit old. But reasonable price, and dinner is good though.

From the attendant that open the elevator door to the prompt ,room service. Bottle of wine delivered with beautiful big glasses. Complimentary nuts and chocolate. Spectacular sunset from our balcony

Trams for the coast just around the hotel. Church bells occasionally disturb the tranquility. There are lovely traditional Greek restaurants around and many bakeries

The so-called parking lot is just a few parking spaces occupied by the hotel on the roadside at the entrance with a sign. If you come back late, they will be gone and you will have to find a place to park nearby

Since I was looking for a 2-bedroom apartment with parking, I chose this place in Piraeus. It is close to the port and you can drive to the island by boat, which is very convenient

However, when booking, it was shown that the parking fee was 10 euros per day, but it was not charged

Despite arriving early in the morning (around 9 AM), they kindly arranged for a recently vacated room to be cleaned immediately so we could get some much-needed rest after a long international flight

While we waited, we explored the area, located our ferry gate, and visited a few local restaurants recommended by the staff. The hotel is surrounded by great food options and is an easy walk from the port

We arrived and greeted by a pleasant front desk guy. We got a room over the street, but the doors to the outside balcony are good, so you don't hear the noises of the street

Good location if you need to take the ferry from Piraeus. Hotel is in the city center and close to restaurants. Our room was very clean, well arranged and big enough with a bed, huge desk, a sofa and coffee gable

Needs updating. There was something very noisy all through the night - maybe the air con system. Breakfast good and staff super. Handy for Piraeus ferry port. Lots of nice commerces in the locality.

Only four stars for two reasons: 1. The person that welcomed us was frankly unfriendly. Located on a boulevard which means it’s loud. In November, good price for value

This gem of a hotel in the port is fantastic. Tasteful furnished, roomy and very clean it has everything you need to a stay before boarding a cruise

The Alex - A Hidden Gem in Athens! Our stay at The Alex in Piraeus, just a 30-minute drive from Athens Airport, was an absolute delight! Despite being located slightly away from the hustle of Athens, this hotel's strategic position made it a mere 15-minute journey to major attractions like the Acropolis, Monastiraki Square, etc

The beat place we’ve stayed in the area. The service is amazing - very welcoming staff accept you when you arrived, offering a welcoming drink on the rooftop

The room is well arranged and attendant every day, well maintained. Especially when you wake up early for a breakfast on the roof when the sunshines

Been coming to Greece for over 30 years, The Alex is the best hotel I've been to here. Visited once in 2022 and a second time in 2023, can guarantee I'll be staying here again when I'm back later on in 2024

The area is great to either walk around and explore; but now it is a 5m taxi into the center, or about 10m away to catch your boat. Can't recommend The Alex highly enough, this accommodation is supreme

The room is spacious and has a good view. The breakfast is rich and the lobby bar is suitable for business exchanges and small meetings. I saw a lot of business activities during my stay

It is about 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel to the harbor and the civic activity center

It was the only hotel I had seen that had hot soup for breakfast. The attitude of the front desk staff was average. The attitude of the staff I met when I checked out was particularly bad

The real experience is pretty good in all aspects. This price is still comparable in Athens, but if you don't have a car, it's still not very convenient to travel

They actually charged us for the mineral water that the staff brought to the room every day and put in the refrigerator. We stayed for six nights and spent 30 or 40 euros for a room

The main problem was that this was the first time I encountered a hotel that charged for the mineral water that was delivered every day. Weird things happen everywhere

The rooms are good, though not the most soundproof you will ever have. Great breakfast in a newly renovated room. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and are the biggest asset of the hotel by far

Great price, great location, great staff… There is also a restaurant downstairs but I only ate there once. It was really good though and reasonably priced

It’s in a neighborhood that is all street parking. It’s free and has very few no parking areas which is great but it can be difficult to find spaces. I did not deduct any stars because this is hardly the hotels fault

There was a heavy plastic “shade” door(which made the room pitch back in the middle of the day) and a heavy interior sliding glass door that drowned out most of the street noise. The parking situation is pretty bad

Just something to keep in mind if you intend to rent a car as I did. To be honest, unless you’re making a day trip at some point, you probably don’t need a car

I intend to visit again someday and I will absolutely look here first

Hotel has good facilities, is nice and provided the necessary without being too overwhelmed or posh. good deal for medium class. The hotel was exactly what we were looking for.

The hotel is in a good location, on a main road, with many free parking spaces. If you are not sure, you can park in the basement of the hotel

A place away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Athens, with an impressive view, clean and located in a not so touristy area but with excellent access. The service is impressively efficient, warm and helpful

The gym facilities are good, clean, comfortable and suitable for business travel. The location is also good, there is a tram outside, and it is very convenient to Chinatown

We went out for a few hours, and when we got back the room had already been tidied, and a chocolate on the pillow. Even the Porter is always ready to give a smile and good advice as you step out of the elevator

What a place!!! The room is beautifully designed and clean, the view is epic for a city centre, was greeted by friendly and helpful staff, there is nothing they will not try and do for you

The booking company told us we could check in earlier than we could, but they looked after us non the less and made what could have been a bad experience into a positive

Was very noisy all night and morning till 10 The lift very busy I walk down 5 floors on foot. Little bit far from the sq Agio Sosti and Syggrou

The hotel was not on a busy street, but close enough to walk to the bus stop, tram stop, stores and restaurants. The breakfast was good and offered during a 3 hour period in the mornings

We ate in the rooftop restaurant which had the same view of the Acropolis and was very reasonably priced and very good. The hotel is walking distance to many of Athens sites and experiences

But the very best part was the breakfast bar. Standard hot breakfast foods plus many local greek foods and pastries! Very convenient walk to the Acropolis and major sites

The food in the restaurant was excellent and the included breakfast was really good! The rooms were nice, neat and clean

The check in at Hotel Thissio was great, early as needed, staff are very friendly smiley and helpful even if language might be a barrier for some, the service is good (4 pts) ! Location and views are amazing and worth it (5pts) ! Room Hermes Room 2nd floor space is limited, however has good distribution for you to stow away your bags/belongings

The bathroom of Hermes room is a bit small to be used for 2 people at the same time. Room amenities are good for basic needs. The AC is great, the bedsheets are bit thin for the cold

Basic rooms, clean, hot water works and good Aircon but the only hotel I stayed in Greece with a bidet! Great view of the Parthenon with your breakfast. I could spot Jason Inn from the acropolis.

Location The location is excellent, its right next to everything. There are loads of restaurants you can visit and you can even walk to the Acorpolis from here

When we went there were these strange people (must have been young as in 18-20) and they were laughing loud in the corridors and running around. not sure they each had a room and they were "playing" in the corridor

If you are used to a big continental breakfast from other hotels you might be disappointed however its OK. Maybe because there are alot of food places around the hotel that they don't focus on a full breakfast

Located quite near the main attraction of Athens, however slightly dark in the night. Overall room is very clean and breakfast was good! Lift is smaller , so we have to make 2 trips

Generally quiet area, convenient for the metro and restaurants. However area did look run down. We are both slightly above average 50s and with both of us in, it was uncomfortable

Great hotel in a good location. Near the beach and the the tram. We could go to acropoli in 30-40 minutes directly from there. The room was clean and modern. They also provided some useful hygiene packets

We had one the best fried calamari there. We were in the rooftop bar and even though the calamari were from the restaurant, we asked if it was possible to bring the dish to the rooftop and they gladly did it

Best restuarant in Athens! The service and food is excellent. The sunset view over the Aegean sea from your table is amazing! The cocktail deck on the roof offers incredible views of the city and the sea.
