We cannot recommend this hotel enough!! We stayed in the Savoy the night before we went off on our cruise. All the Staff were so friendly and polite. The room was lovely and clean

On our way home we had a late flight and asked if we could leave our bags in the hotel. We decided to have lunch here and Adam the Manager joined us who we had been chatting to before we left

He was very friendly and made our experience one to remember. The staff also took care of us by booking transfers to the airport and made everything effortless

Very basic accommodations but every thing works and is very clean with very attentive staff..great wifi, good food and central location..would stay here again

Dinner as recommended from our waiter! Omg Greek salad with the absolute best olive oil and feta we have ever tasted. The main course was foodie heaven

In the off-season, the price is normal, but it is definitely not worth paying more than 80 euros per night

Breakfast is really mediocre, the coffee is baaad but great selection of Greek herbal teas which I appreciated.   Has the potential to really be 5* ( and probably was 20yrs ago)… but lacks love and attention to detail

Great rooms location and building. It’s such a pity they don’t change some things like the chairs and care to vamp it up a bit. The gym is sad, although has all equipment and space needed it’s  dark and gloomy

We arrived very late at midnight and they did us a fast and easy check-in. The hotel is very well located and close to the port. This was the comfiest bed as well. The room is spacious, beautiful and comfy

I wasn’t able to take pictures of this hotel as we were really tight on time and in a hurry to catch an early fairy vessel. But I definitely recommend this hotel

We actually slept for only one night in this hotel before going to Milos. But we wish we slept even more days in this hotel. The staff is extremely friendly

We arrived very late at night and were greeted warmly and were checked in in no time. The WiFi is free and fast and the included buffet breakfast was very welcome

This gem of a hotel in the port is fantastic. Tasteful furnished, roomy and very clean it has everything you need to a stay before boarding a cruise

We had to take the Metro the next morning. The staff looked up the time on their computer. Slam dunk! Great place to stay.

The Alex - A Hidden Gem in Athens! Our stay at The Alex in Piraeus, just a 30-minute drive from Athens Airport, was an absolute delight! Despite being located slightly away from the hustle of Athens, this hotel's strategic position made it a mere 15-minute journey to major attractions like the Acropolis, Monastiraki Square, etc

The beat place we’ve stayed in the area. The service is amazing - very welcoming staff accept you when you arrived, offering a welcoming drink on the rooftop

The room is well arranged and attendant every day, well maintained. Especially when you wake up early for a breakfast on the roof when the sunshines

Been coming to Greece for over 30 years, The Alex is the best hotel I've been to here. Visited once in 2022 and a second time in 2023, can guarantee I'll be staying here again when I'm back later on in 2024

The area is great to either walk around and explore; but now it is a 5m taxi into the center, or about 10m away to catch your boat. Can't recommend The Alex highly enough, this accommodation is supreme

If I go to Athens or Piraeus, I will choose this hotel for sure. The laundry service is also impressive. We loved our stay at this hotel

Not a super nice place not an awful place,rooms were pretty nice, bathrooms are quite nice, good place to stay for a night as a jumping off point for the island ferries,not a place to stay if you're visiting to be sight seeing Athens

We have stayed here several times over the years. A nice clean hotel with nice rooms with above average facilities

The staff are lovely and the location is excellent for the port and for some if yhd main areas of Piraeus

The hotel is old, I changed several rooms, all except the rooms with a sea view have a stale smell of old age, breakfasts are like Groundhog Day every day, the same thing, they don't even change the omelette to fried eggs

The address is very good. It's on the edge of the port and very close to the seaside. It's very comfortable to take a walk and drink coffee. You can see the life of the locals and stay away from the bustling urban area.

Excellent location, great sea view hotel, you can enjoy the view from the balcony. The hotel and facilities are old and the breakfast is average.

Good hotel and good location. Breakfast good for money. Very good bar with sea view and with nice Brazilian Lady bartender!

The only plus is the first line and if the room has a sea view, the view is amazing, especially sunsets and sunrises

But it's located directly at the sea. And it has a lot of nice tavernas and cafeterias around

And I must commend the gentleman at the desk who allowed us to check in and understood my dilemma with French Bank holidays. I was unable to use bank card all Easter weekend

it's really tidy and got really helpfull staff. close to boat, subway bus and taxi. only minus is that the side facing towards the park has mosquitoes om the night, og you dont close the window/balcony while you sleep

If you're expecting a luxury hotel, you might not be. Private room with working air-conditioning and comfy pillows. The toilet flushes a little funky--you need to use a water bucket to aid flushing

Wish I had booked more nights here! Front desk is amazing. Better than hostels that I've stayed at, for roughly the same price. That said, if you're comparing to a hostel, you'll be impressed

Everything is good, but they don’t have a kettle. If you want hot water, they will provide one.

Also, there's no curtain for the shower and tv doesn't work

Only little point, would be great to have a shower cabin or at least a curtain

We stayed here for one night as a couple after a flight from Asia. Wanted to charge extra 25 euros for early check in so we gave that a miss. The hotel entrance is obscured with frosted glass

Located just 5 min walk from Gate E9 ( most SeaJets ferries). 2 min to Metro Teatro Piraeus with connection direct to airport every 36 minutes. Nice and renovated rooms with small balconies towards main street

The hotel is situated in the middle of a very busy street in Pireaus. The one downside is that it has no parking, but you have so many parking areas (10-12€ for the whole day) so it didn't make a difference to us

Spacious rooms with city views, properly equipped with the needs of any tourist. Cleaning and refrigerator supplied daily with plain water. I liked that very much!

Lovely, modernized hotel in heart of Pirareus. Our balcony was huge- big enough for multiple chairs, two loungers, and tables. The free breakfast was delicious and quite ample- eggs, sausages, pastries, etc

Friendly staff, good breakfast, interesting historic decor in the lobby/stairwell. Rooms are basic, but all the essentials are there, and nice and clean

Very convenient hotel in a great location right next to the piraeus port. Great for an overnight stay to take the ferry in the morning

The hotel helped me by calling an ambulance and assisting me in my room (I had a lymph node that appeared and I had to be taken to the emergency room with a major infection, risking my life due to the location of the lymph node)

Super clean cozy hotel! Reception staff super friendly, kind, helpful and professional. Location of the hotel is great just two streets away and across the port where the ships go to the islands

The so-called parking lot is just a few parking spaces occupied by the hotel on the roadside at the entrance with a sign. If you come back late, they will be gone and you will have to find a place to park nearby

Room was suprisingly nice (excellent for 2-star hotel and this price). Small disadvantage is that second floor is under reconstruction but nothing that worsened our stay

For a 3 star hotel, it was what mattered the most clean and safe, the set up for the beds was 2 single beads side by side to make a queen bed, but it's workable and for us was all good, as it had a friendly staff, it was clean and safe, we received a 1 lt bottle of water upon arrival, and the room was ready early, good people at the hotel

The rooms and facilities are basic, comparable to a typical budget chain, but they are spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel was a great convenience

The service was good and the place was clean. It's perfect for staying the night before or after boarding or disembarking a ship. My only complaint is that there was no hair dryer.

Breakfast was perfectly suited to my taste. For lunch and dinner, I enjoyed a good variety of pasta dishes, and the prices were more reasonable than outside restaurants

The restaurant itself had a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The nearest metro station is an 8-minute walk away

You'll also find a small supermarket and a fruit shop within a 4-5 minute walk, plus several other restaurants nearby

Very nice hotel for only 2 stars, you can see the docks from the balcony and it is also just less than 20 minutes walking from pasalimani that is a really beautiful place to visit!

Cheap rooms. Nothing fancy. Close to train station. Neighborhood can be noisy at times. Friendly staff.

Needs improvement: - There was a problem with the bed, that made it uncomfortable: While the mattress was sufficiently supported on one side (using extra wooden beams), it wasn't on the other side and it caused me minor back problems

- There was also a problem with the shower: The shower phone wasn't properly connected with the spiral, which caused water to flow from two different points, making it difficult to take a comfortable shower

Good hotel in full sea view , book earlier yo have better price ! The area is abit on the sea side and one bus only pass from their its better to have your own car to enjoy going out at night unless considering using taxi

Enjoyed the sea view, where you can see the sunrise and the sunset. Breakfast offering is generous and very delicious! All of the staff were very helpful and professional

Loved my stay at Scorpios Seaside Hotel. We stayed there on our first night in Athens before island hopping and the last few nights before going home

He was so helpful, gave us lots of advice about being safe in Athens, food recommendations and ideas about how much a taxi should cost, that way we would not be getting ripped off. The hotel was nice and comfortable

It was super close to the port and about a 15 min drive to all the museums in Athens. The staff is absolutely amazing and extremely helpful. They made getting a shuttle to and from the airport and port super easy

We got a room with 3 beds, it was kind of small but we did not mind due to us only being in the hotel to go to sleep

The only complaint is the drains smelt a bit in the bathroom but with the door shut, wasn’t a big problem. The staff were so friendly and extremely helpful with directions to the port and important information

We got an upgrade to a bigger room which was really nice. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. There’s a free street parking in front of the hotel

The only negative thing we found was that we can hear the disturbing noise from the street and the walkway in front of the room almost all night

What a fantastic find this hotel is. Our room had 2 balconies & was very spacious. Only 1 block from waterfront & restaurants. Great supermarket across the road. Free shuttle to the port if you are cruising out

A perfect place to stay if one is not asking for the sky. It is afterall a boutique 3 stars. It has the tiniest lift meant for one person with one luggage or two persons with no luggages

Neighborhood takes some getting used to because you just came from busy Athens with beautiful buildings here it is more flats. But there are always gems to discover

This is a great hotel situated near to the Port. It is about 10 minutes walk from the metro station, 25 minutes from the port and about 15 minutes to the cruise ship port. The rooms are tiny, but sufficient

I would recommend it, but if you are walking to the hotel with your baggage be careful because the side walks are blocked by garbage, scooters and parking cars

The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is clean, and the room comes equipped with a coffee maker and a mini fridge, making for a very pleasant stay

We were on the top floor and the balcony was the size as our room

The food wasn’t fresh, we clearly could see the same food unmoved from the previous day. And the staff at the kitchen was very loud and unfriendly. The hotel didn’t provide any bottled water
