We enjoyed our stay here Glad we got a transfer from the airport as sidewalks around the hotel are far from smooth! Excellent breakfast buffet 😋 Bar staff are outstanding. Great range of cocktails and cold beer 🍺 Well located with short walk to a busy square for shops, cafes and restaurants. Metro is close too which gets you straight into the heart of Athens
We actually slept for only one night in this hotel before going to Milos. But we wish we slept even more days in this hotel. The staff is extremely friendly. We arrived very late at midnight and they did us a fast and easy check-in. The hotel is very well located and close to the port. Such a clean and nice hotel. This was the comfiest bed as well. The room is spacious, beautiful and comfy. Also the...
The location is satisfactory, but the hotel is in dire need of renovation. Additionally, the temperature of the swimming pool was uncomfortably cold. The location of the swimming pool and gym is not clearly marked, making it difficult for guests to find. Basic amenities such as tea and coffee are not provided in the rooms, which is a standard offering even in two-star hotels. The food options are limited...
Wonderful hotel. Great location. Stayed with my daughter, her partner and my grandson. Breakfast was lovely, great choice. Dining in the hotel was good as well. The staff were brilliant and helpful . Great with booking taxis, day trips etc. Rooms well maintained and spotless. Lovely rooftop pool with sun loungers.
A very clean, quite impressive 5 star hotel(though in an old building), with good Mediterranean breakfast, introducing a big variety of goods. Very pleased with our stay, even though it was short...
Theoxenia Hotel is, in my.opinion, one of the best hotels in Piraeus. The location is excellent, between the city centre and the port and with public transportation for all destinations close by. The rooms are always excellent and comfy and very soundproof! The swimming pool, which I visited in summer, is small but very nice and with a hood view to the port. The breakfast is delicious!

Stayed one night prior to transfer to the cruise ship. Air France misplaced luggage so we got into the hotel later than anticipated. For the little while we stayed there the hotel was great. The processed a lot of people in and out to the ships. Had dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant and was very good. Rooms were comfortable.
Great quality hotel! So far it’s been a great experience. We flew in with a group of about 70 people for a tour with discovery tours. We showed up at the hotel, 10 minutes later, we were all checked in and in our rooms. Excellent service. Nice, clean, and neat rooms. The buffet and other accommodation have been wonderful!
This review is specifically for the Great Room bar (the entire experience has been great but I want to focus on this bar for this review). My wife and I are on our Anniversary trip and had the pleasure of staying at the Athens Marriott Sunday September 1st. One item that stood out above the rest was this wonderful bar, especially the service we were provided by a trainee(!) Erica. I do not know the...
Hotel that various cruise ships use. Mid Athens location. Lido grocery store a 9 minute walk - bread, cheese, wine. Four nearby restaurants. Hotel has a good breakfast buffet. About an hour drive to airport - taxi $50 or 50 erous. Small pool on roof and bar with scenic views.
Don’t be put off by location. This is a great place to stay and with a 10 mins bus ride you will be in town. Also the hop on hop off bus stops outside the hotel for a convenient tour. We have spent 4 days here and never felt the need after 8 hours of Hellenic heat to go out in the evening as there are nice local restaurant too. Should you wish to go to Plaka or elsewhere a 10€taxi or bus will take...
Ok hotel. Super busy with cruise ships. Staff were good. Pool on roof is small but fine. The M club stunk. The happy hour food was lame and never refilled. Cabs to center 10 euros. There is a great park across the street. I'm the summer they have music and movies in the park.

The hotel is beautiful and the treatment of the staff Eythimios manager and ( Anna , Ironi , Alex , Stelio ) isexcellent . Service, hygiene and cooperation Its location is in the city center . It's worth visiting and staying in.
Any review older than 3 days before this one is fake. No hate, they have to make their money somehow, but I was one of the first people to check in to this hotel. The experience was lovely! The photos on google maps are accurate the hotel was brand new and everything was spotless. There were many options for lighting, and they even had a wall socket for usb-c and usb cables, to charge phones and...

Thanks for the amazing event at Cyclades Hall yesterday!!! Beautiful and elegant space! The large screen and the high ceiling was giving the feeling of luxury and simplicity at the same time!!! The banquet exquisite, in compliance with the standards of Hyatt!!! But, above all, the employees were the key to the success!! Excellent service, all the staff was extremely polite, helpful and to the point...
Wow what a great hotel! The location is ideal it’s out of the busy acropolis area of the city but still close enough to walk to most of the sites if you wanted. They have a complimentary shuttle bus that will take and pick you up to the national gardens area from there you can hit everything pretty easily. We found the food and beverage offerings to be outstanding from the food to the service it was...
Our stay at the Grand Hyatt Athens was nothing short of spectacular! The hotel exudes luxury from the moment you walk through the doors. Our room was beautifully appointed, with modern decor and a comfortable bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. The rooftop pool and bar offer breathtaking views of the Acropolis – a perfect spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was outstanding...
For the price you really cannot beat this hotel. It's got a great modern vibe, huge luxurious rooms, and an absolute A+ spa that is free to visit (pool, jacuzzi, sauna, cold plunge etc) - comes in very handy after long days of walking and hiking). Service is really amazing, Erinda at the front desk was so nice and helped us get settled when we arrived a bit early before check-in. You're about 20 minutes...
What an amazing location! The hotel is very lovely and the views from the restaurant on the 9th floor AMAZING! The rooms are extremely ample, clean and the mattress and pillows outstanding. The staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Don’t pass up their restaurants…Best Greek salad ever, breakfast buffet has the largest selection and the food extremely tasty. Worth the stay for safety...
20 to 30 mins ride from the main attractions. Beautiful to look at, but beds in the suite were uncomfortable for all 3 of us. The front desk staff was nice when we arrived, but not as helpful the next day.

If you’re looking for a memorable stay in Athens, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s truly a gem, made even better by the incredible team that ensures each guest feels valued. They were super helpful and supportive. Thank you to all of them for making my visit unforgettable—I can’t wait to return!
I recently had the pleasure of organizing a business meeting in Wyndham Grand Athens hotel, and I can't recommend it enough! The organization was impressive. The staff was incredibly responsive to any inquiries, even changing the meeting room at very last minute. The restaurant at the hotel served delicious food! The rooms were well-appointed and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day...
We spent 3 nights in Athens at the Wyndham. The service was great. Reception was friendly, the hotel is clean with an excellent view of the Parthenon on the rooftop. The service at the restaurant was fantastic and the food was so delicious. Thank you Wyndham Grand. We would recommend this hotel for its location, close to hop on and hop off buses and public transport
Simply put, the staff is exceptional. As single parent traveling with young daughters, not only were the staff friendly, inviting and accommodating, they also made it their mission to make our stay perfect! Truth be told, this is our second stay and it was a non-negotiable that we stay at the Wyndham Grand! This coming from my daughters! Even in a neighborhood that shows all the facets of urban life...
Travel agent recommended this hotel, has a pool and breakfast at rooftop that can see Acropolis. It's a bit far from the historical centre which was hard to walk to in the heat of summer. Hotel carpet was smelly around The rooms, maybe from smoking but I did not like that the most about this hotel. Breakfast bar was great, they have free slippers and things for you to use but it's not that luxurious...
Room was fine, we booked for 3 people and one had to sleep on a couch which was a bit disappointing. Bottles of soap and shampoo/body wash were empty in our bathroom which was odd. The buffet was amazing. Great views of the Acropolis and great selection of food and drink. Upon checkout we were repeatedly told to leave a good review which was quite off putting to be honest. Overall good. Few suggestions

Excellent hotel with probably the most friendly staff I've ever experienced. The hotel has a really nice roof top bar with the best views on the Acropolis and is super centrally located. I found it exceptional value for money.
Our family had an exceptional experience here, thanks to the impeccable service and perfect location. Traveling with a young child can be challenging, staff made everything easy and enjoyable for us. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, which we truly appreciated. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the Acropolis—which made it easy for us to explore without long trips...
Michael, the Bell Captain was a highlight of our stay. Genial and professional, he made us feel more at home and comfortable. Helpful in information about surrounding area. Here’s an asset to your hotel. Thermis at the desk, an extraordinary ambassador! Welcoming and helpful to an all of us traveling from Hawaii! Dinning waitstaff is superb!
We recently stayed here and loved the location and enjoyed the pool. The room was clean and comfortable and a clear priority. The cleaning and support staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The only issue was the attitude and demeanor of many of the staff members; a few front desk staffers, the breakfast servers, and bar tenders. They were short and unfriendly. It was very strange to be received...
Natasha in the reception area is an angel. I don’t think the hotel could afford to give everyone the service she gave us so I won’t mention specifically what it was. But we appreciated it and she made it clear that there is a culture of true hospitality at this hotel. The room was absolutely gorgeous! Imagine a private terrace with a hot tub with the Parthenon right over us. It was amazing.
Velissarios’s Service was always above and beyond. He was very friendly and professional at the same time. We enjoyed the location of our hotel. The rooms were fine. The rooftop deck was a wonderful experience.

Little hotel in the Plaka. We were a 5 minute walk from the entrance of the acropolis. If you want to be up close to the tourist attractions, this is a good hotel for you. The rooms are spartan. They lack storage for clothes (no dresser) and the closets are tiny with only 5 hangers. They do offer an iron and ironing board though. A second chair for a room for two would have been nice. I recently stayed at Coco-Mat Athens BC and overall, it was a decent experience, but with some important caveats. This hotel is not a 5-star property, and I’d rate it as a solid 3-star. This hotel is lovely. It's perfectly placed in the city, besides cool restaurants, and the staff was lovely! Our balcony had a view of Acropolis!! Zen, the masseuse realigned all my chakras with the 60 minute and my husband said he loved it too! The in room cleaning was top tier AND they provided wash cloths. I would happily stay again. Gladly.
One of the best places we’ve ever stayed! You will never find better Customer Service anywhere, and the breakfast is amazing. The view of the Acropolis is spectacular. I would give it 6 stars if I could.
Stunning view of Acropolis. Very nice neighbourhood. Excellent service especially room service. Great breakfast. Highly recommended.
Very nice staff, great breakfast options. You can either choose from the menu or get the whole buffet breakfast with plenty of choices. This hotel is located fantastically in what feels like a local neighbourhood that is alive with locals. It can be a little hard to find at first as they don’t have a prominent entry but that wasn’t an issue really. Amazing hotel! It is right in the middle of everything! I loved the location, view and staff. Many reviews mention the noise and I didn’t understand it until Saturday night. We just spent 2 nights here, and it was incredible. The room is quiet and so comfortable and nice. The staff was super kind and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic. We had dinner one night at their rooftop restaurant - the food is great, and it provides uninterrupted views of the Acropolis lit up at night. The entire stay was magical, and we would 10/10 stay here again.
Service was A+. Friendly front desk and bell staff. Breakfast was included and the restaurant was great. Big menu, fast and friendly service, great food. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice balcony with chairs too. Shower was a bit tiny, and awkward to use due to size , but not a deal breaker. Location can’t get much better. Right near most of the attractions.
The Hotel is in a great location, very walkable to the Acropolis and shopping. The staff are warm and welcoming from check-in to check out. Great place to go for a late night after drink. After having dinner downtown, we decided to walk up to the rooftop bar and check it out. The view was so awesome. We decided to stay for a nightcap. My wife had the port and I had the Blantons old-fashioned. Beautiful evening nice breeze great company. Highly recommend if you have a chance to go by.
An Amazing place to stay in Athens. Great Location with spectacular views from the roof top bar and the pool. Close to everything you need and the service is amazing. The staff were always willing to help in anything we asked for. Would highly recommend.
All about the location really, great for a night stop before flying home if you’ve been to the islands. Recommend a meal out in Plaka. Taxi back to the airport is a lot quicker from here than anywhere else in Athens. Rooms are what you’d expect in a city centre hotel. I’m not going to say it was great value, I’ve spent half the price and been just as satisfied.

Royal Olympia Hotel clearly shows it was once a luxury destination, but unfortunately, it no longer meets the standards expected of a 5-star hotel today. While the breakfast was enjoyable, it’s surprising that even basics like cappuccino aren’t complimentary. Worse, there’s no free water in the room, and they charged us €4 for a small bottle! The management’s approach feels outdated, focusing on appearances...

A lovely hotel in a perfect location, just 10 minutes walk to Acropolis southern entrance. Good sized, very clean rooms, nice sized bathrooms, with shower over bath. Top floor bar overlooking Acropolis and the park. Breakfast was good with lots of choice and good service, also located in restaurant on top floor to enjoy the views. Would certainly return here.
The room was clean and comfortable. It was huge and a very nice room. The bathroom was amazing. We enjoyed our time there. The breakfast was part of the room and delicious. The staff was helpful. The view is good but not as amazing as the hotel photos. The area is decent but I wasn't impressed with most of Athens.
Overall we loved our stay here- the hotel is in a perfect location for being close to restaurants/shops as well at the Acropolis. A nice hotel with excellent service. The location is close to everything you would want to see in Athens! Rooms were pretty clean but they are a little dated. The breakfast had a good selection of items from bacon, sausage, eggs, fruit and pastries. The only comment on the breakfast would be the coffee and cappuccinos didn't taste great. Overall a nice hotel if you're visiting Athens!
The rooms are large! Rooms are clean! The staff is very accommodating. We enjoyed a breakfast buffet. There is a bar open in the evening on the mezzanine level. There is a restaurant in the lobby. Be aware that this hotel does not have a pool. This hotel was picked as part of our tour. Overall this hotel is a good choice.
Probably the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at. The bedroom doors are very thin and you can hear housekeepings every move knock and bang, even the noise of plastic bags rustling. Location is great, right across Syntagma Square and you get all access to the Gran Bretagne. Service was really good. The rooms were beautiful. Highly recommend as it is a smaller hotel than most. Great view of the Acropolis from the restaurant. The breakfast was very good and plentiful
Unbeatable location in Athens in Syntagma Square. Rooms are pricey but small. We had the suite with courtyard view and was the same size as a regular room in Dubai and very dark. Nice, however, to get local liqueur as a welcome gift. Breakfast was good but the true winner was the view of the acropolis. We preferred the breakfast at the sister hotel Grande Bretagne as they had fresh yogurt and more...
While the hotel has been renovated the suite we had was comprised of several small rooms with a gigantic and essentially useless dressing/closet area. The light switches were incredibly confusing and I'm a 30 year construction person. The bar next door had great views although the bartender thought a martini meant martini & rossi
The best experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. Between the King George and their sister property next door, my wife and I were able to explore all the amenities- spa, pool, sauna, steam rooms, both gyms, and more. Everything was top quality and exceptional. We said multiple times that this hotel greatly exceeded our expectations in every way. When we booked it we knew it was nice, but the feeling of...
We had late flight out of Athens and our plan was to site see all day but it ended up being 100 degrees Fahrenheit that day. They even close the acropolis. We called to see if we could get a day use room and they were completely booked. The staff and manage can't say NO. The service found a way to provide us with a room until 5pm and we were so grateful. Best staff and great rooms. Really really good...
This is one of THE BEST hotel we stayed. The service was amazing. Stella at concierge desk was extremely helpful. Having breakfast every morning with a spectacular view of Acropolis was truly exceptional. The breakfast staff treat you like family. Katholiki was very attentive. Finally and above all having dinner at TUDOR HALL a Michelin star restaurant enjoying the spectacular night view of Acropolis

Athens, 1 Vasileos Georgiou A’ str. 🧭 Map
Premises and location were excellent. Room was spacious and immaculate, as you would expect. The thing which was disconcerting, however, was that staff morale seemed very low throughout our stay. It was pretty cold and awkward both in the lobby and at breakfast and markedly different from other hotels of a similar standing. This is a very prestigious and well-known institution in Athens but the lived...
It can’t get any better than this. The view alone is worth staying here. Add to that elegant rooms and common areas, attentive staff and delicious food and you have the perfect mix. It is close to everything. Rooms are immaculate. The gym is small but, from what I can see, the hotel doesn’t target that clientele so it’s ok .. I would definitely recommend and come back here!
Everything is extraordinary about this historic hotel in the heart of Athens, near Syntagma Square, just opposite the Greek Parliament. Even if you don’t (choose to) stay there, you should visit the Spa, which offers wonderful treatments in a calm, cosy, yet luxurious atmosphere. A brunch or an afternoon tea at the Winter Lounge complete the pleasurable experience. And of course there is the Roof Garden...
Old world elegance with modern luxury service. The guest rooms have maintained their old school appointments, but the upstairs lounge and bar are very much updated with modern decor. The rooftop bar/restaurant is definitely the highlight, although evening cocktails are 24 euro, so you're paying for the view and ambiance. The breakfast is 5 star in every way; we booked a rate that included breakfast...
The grande dame of Athens hotels! Great service, some rooms are a little dated but the views are incredible. Located next to the Syntagma metro station, getting anywhere in Athens is very easy. Pro tip: you can watch the changing of the guard from the rooftop restaurant.
A grand hotel centrally located - but it’s certainly dated The service was impeccable throughout - the breakfast was vast and well stocked The dinner at the rooftop restaurant was very well paced and the food of high quality The stand out is the ambassador bar on the 1st floor which has won many awards The cocktails are to die for and a great way to kick off the night! It is expensive however so be...

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, perfectly located in the heart of Athens. The dinner and food were excellent, but the true highlight of our vacation was the incredible staff. Everyone was so welcoming and kind, making us feel right at home. A special shout-out to George at breakfast, his expertise and outstanding service made every morning feel extra special. This hotel truly has a team that...
We loved our night at the Athens Capital Center Hotel. It was a short taxi to the main areas and walkable if you like (we walked!). The rooftop pool had a great view of the city and Acropolis. The room was very clean, new, and comfortable. I’d recommend this for any length of stay in Athens. The entire staff at the hotel made our stay comfortable. If we are back in Athens we will definitely stay here...

Stayed here with my family of 8 adults and one 5 month old baby for 4 nights. It was such an amazing stay. The staff was so kind, welcoming, and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was so amazing and had such a variety of foods and was in such a stunning dinning room. The pool and gym were also lovely. The restaurant (on the top floor next to the pool with an amazing view) was delicious and affordable...
Convenient location, Super comfy rooms, excellent toiletries, body lotion etc., friendly cordial service and buffet brunch spread. Eleni at the rooftop restaurant was so helpful, friendly and welcoming..! They make trip to Athens so welcoming that you wouldn't ever want to stay anywhere else. My husband and I started our honeymoon (May 2024) in Athens at the Athens Capital Center Hotel. What a lovely hotel! We arrived early in the morning and the room was ready long before expected! The roof has a spectacular pool, wonderful dinner options, and an amazing view of the Acropolis. They even have an "Instagram" spot marked to make sure you get the best views! The breakfast spread was great...
