Piraeus, 23 Karaoli & Dimitriou 🧭 Map
We enjoyed our stay here Glad we got a transfer from the airport as sidewalks around the hotel are far from smooth! Excellent breakfast buffet 😋 Bar staff are outstanding. Great range of cocktails and cold beer 🍺 Well located with short walk to a busy square for shops, cafes and restaurants. Metro is close too which gets you straight into the heart of Athens
We actually slept for only one night in this hotel before going to Milos. But we wish we slept even more days in this hotel. The staff is extremely friendly. We arrived very late at midnight and they did us a fast and easy check-in. The hotel is very well located and close to the port. Such a clean and nice hotel. This was the comfiest bed as well. The room is spacious, beautiful and comfy. Also the...
The location is satisfactory, but the hotel is in dire need of renovation. Additionally, the temperature of the swimming pool was uncomfortably cold. The location of the swimming pool and gym is not clearly marked, making it difficult for guests to find. Basic amenities such as tea and coffee are not provided in the rooms, which is a standard offering even in two-star hotels. The food options are limited...
Wonderful hotel. Great location. Stayed with my daughter, her partner and my grandson. Breakfast was lovely, great choice. Dining in the hotel was good as well. The staff were brilliant and helpful . Great with booking taxis, day trips etc. Rooms well maintained and spotless. Lovely rooftop pool with sun loungers.
A very clean, quite impressive 5 star hotel(though in an old building), with good Mediterranean breakfast, introducing a big variety of goods. Very pleased with our stay, even though it was short...
Theoxenia Hotel is, in my.opinion, one of the best hotels in Piraeus. The location is excellent, between the city centre and the port and with public transportation for all destinations close by. The rooms are always excellent and comfy and very soundproof! The swimming pool, which I visited in summer, is small but very nice and with a hood view to the port. The breakfast is delicious!

The location is average, the transportation is not convenient. The service is OK, but the rooms near the street are very noisy, the sound insulation is relatively poor, and there are all kinds of car and motorcycle noises downstairs in the middle of the night.
The breakfast was good. It was the only hotel I had seen that had hot soup for breakfast. The cleaning was also timely. The attitude of the front desk staff was average. The attitude of the staff I met when I checked out was particularly bad. They actually charged us for the mineral water that the staff brought to the room every day and put in the refrigerator. We stayed for six nights and spent 3...
I stayed at the Marriott a few days before arriving in Greece. The advantage is that there is a shuttle bus to Constitution Square, but the location is relatively far from the Acropolis. The disadvantage is that the service is extremely poor, the worst Marriott I have ever stayed in. It was the first time I encountered a situation where bottled water in the room was only delivered in limited quantities...
The real experience is pretty good in all aspects. This price is still comparable in Athens, but if you don't have a car, it's still not very convenient to travel
The room is spacious and has a good view. The breakfast is rich and the lobby bar is suitable for business exchanges and small meetings. I saw a lot of business activities during my stay. It is about 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel to the harbor and the civic activity center.
Standard Marriott service, there are many delicious restaurants near the hotel

Absolutely coming back again, 10/10 for everything.
the housekeeping missed the cleaning of my room in daytime. they sent a cleaning lady at 6pm after we coming back. this terrifying cleaning lady showed huge impatience and chose to shout at my daughter who opened the door for her. She did everything she could to express her anger by punching the pillows in front of us. I requested to change normal staff to replace her. meanwhile, till 23pm of the...

This is the first time I’ve ever stayed in Grand Hyatt around the world. It was so much nicer than I expected because the staffs are so kind and helpful during the stay. Especially, when I checked in, the front desk staff was very friendly with good smile. Then, they realized that my birthday was coming in 2days, so they upgraded my room for me! Plus, breakfast was awesome for me. There are tons...

Busy location. Rooms kinda small. But OK.
The staff in the hotel are extremely lovely and they try their best to make the trip as enjoyable as possible. Matina is wonderful and just brings a smile to my face everytime I enter and exit the hotel. Elina was so kind to extend my checkout time despite the hotel being fully booked. Last but not least, the breakfast staff were so patient and always polite and lovely. Otherwise of course the hotel...

This hotel has an excellent location, metro station right in front as well as other transportation. The accomodation are regular ones, compensated by excellent breakfast service. The setback goes to cleanliness and facilities conditions.

If you’re looking for a memorable stay in Athens, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s truly a gem, made even better by the incredible team that ensures each guest feels valued. They were super helpful and supportive. Thank you to all of them for making my visit unforgettable—I can’t wait to return!
I recently had the pleasure of organizing a business meeting in Wyndham Grand Athens hotel, and I can't recommend it enough! The organization was impressive. The staff was incredibly responsive to any inquiries, even changing the meeting room at very last minute. The restaurant at the hotel served delicious food! The rooms were well-appointed and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day...
We spent 3 nights in Athens at the Wyndham. The service was great. Reception was friendly, the hotel is clean with an excellent view of the Parthenon on the rooftop. The service at the restaurant was fantastic and the food was so delicious. Thank you Wyndham Grand. We would recommend this hotel for its location, close to hop on and hop off buses and public transport
Simply put, the staff is exceptional. As single parent traveling with young daughters, not only were the staff friendly, inviting and accommodating, they also made it their mission to make our stay perfect! Excellent hotel with probably the most friendly staff I've ever experienced. The hotel has a really nice roof top bar with the best views on the Acropolis and is super centrally located. I found it exceptional value for money.
Our family had an exceptional experience here, thanks to the impeccable service and perfect location. Traveling with a young child can be challenging, staff made everything easy and enjoyable for us. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, which we truly appreciated. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the Acropolis—which made it easy for us to explore without long trips...
Michael, the Bell Captain was a highlight of our stay. Genial and professional, he made us feel more at home and comfortable. Helpful in information about surrounding area. Here’s an asset to your hotel. Thermis at the desk, an extraordinary ambassador! Welcoming and helpful to an all of us traveling from Hawaii! Dinning waitstaff is superb!
We recently stayed here and loved the location and enjoyed the pool. The room was clean and comfortable and a clear priority. The cleaning and support staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The only issue was the attitude and demeanor of many of the staff members; a few front desk staffers, the breakfast servers, and bar tenders. They were short and unfriendly. It was very strange to be received...
Natasha in the reception area is an angel. I don’t think the hotel could afford to give everyone the service she gave us so I won’t mention specifically what it was. But we appreciated it and she made it clear that there is a culture of true hospitality at this hotel. The room was absolutely gorgeous! Imagine a private terrace with a hot tub with the Parthenon right over us. It was amazing.
Velissarios’s Service was always above and beyond. He was very friendly and professional at the same time. We enjoyed the location of our hotel. The rooms were fine. The rooftop deck was a wonderful experience.

Booked this place for my parents and they LOVED it! The breakfast was outstanding and especially the service!! They were so welcoming and I’ve never seen such good service. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The location was outstanding it was so central and I definitely would recommended anyone coming to coco mat
Little hotel in the Plaka. We were a 5 minute walk from the entrance of the acropolis. If you want to be up close to the tourist attractions, this is a good hotel for you. The rooms are spartan. They lack storage for clothes (no dresser) and the closets are tiny with only 5 hangers. They do offer an iron and ironing board though. A second chair for a room for two would have been nice. I wanted to praise this hotel and highlighting first and foremost, how responsive and attentive the staff was. From the doormen,to the reception and the housekeepers. The location is prime. I recently stayed at Coco-Mat Athens BC and overall, it was a decent experience, but with some important caveats. This hotel is not a 5-star property, and I’d rate it as a solid 3-star. Perfect place to stay for our time in Athens, the location is steps from the Acropolis. Lots of good quality restaurants nearby. This hotel is lovely. It's perfectly placed in the city, besides cool restaurants, and the staff was lovely! Our balcony had a view of Acropolis!! Zen, the masseuse realigned all my chakras with the 60 minute and my husband said he loved it too! The in room cleaning was top tier AND they provided wash cloths. I would happily stay again. Gladly.
One of the best places we’ve ever stayed! You will never find better Customer Service anywhere, and the breakfast is amazing. The view of the Acropolis is spectacular. I would give it 6 stars if I could.
Stunning view of Acropolis. Very nice neighbourhood. Excellent service especially room service. Great breakfast. Highly recommended.
Very nice staff, great breakfast options. You can either choose from the menu or get the whole buffet breakfast with plenty of choices. I loved the homemade cinamon walnut cake and energy bars made fresh daily at the hotel. It is also convenient for small groups, as we didn't stay at the hotel rooms but we had breakfast only. I can not rate the rooms, but the location, the facilities and shared breakfast...
This hotel is located fantastically in what feels like a local neighbourhood that is alive with locals. It can be a little hard to find at first as they don’t have a prominent entry but that wasn’t an issue really. Amazing hotel! It is right in the middle of everything! I loved the location, view and staff. Many reviews mention the noise and I didn’t understand it until Saturday night. We just spent 2 nights here, and it was incredible. The room is quiet and so comfortable and nice. The staff was super kind and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic. We had dinner one night at their rooftop restaurant - the food is great, and it provides uninterrupted views of the Acropolis lit up at night. The entire stay was magical, and we would 10/10 stay here again.
Service was A+. Friendly front desk and bell staff. Breakfast was included and the restaurant was great. Big menu, fast and friendly service, great food. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice balcony with chairs too. Shower was a bit tiny, and awkward to use due to size , but not a deal breaker. Location can’t get much better. Right near most of the attractions.
The Hotel is in a great location, very walkable to the Acropolis and shopping. The staff are warm and welcoming from check-in to check out. I booked a single room. There was nothing wrong with the room except that it was small. The rooftop restaurant was great. It was the best choice for taking photos of the Acropolis. The hotel is very close to the Acropolis. It is also very convenient for eating and shopping. Remember to carry your bag in front when you go out.
A very satisfying experience. You can see the entire Acropolis from the balcony, the hotel breakfast is also very rich and delicious, and the various disposable utensils in the room are very complete
The room is clean and tidy, the sanitation is very good, and the pillowcases are changed every day. The InterContinental in Athens where I stayed last year left me with a very bad impression. The hotel is in a good location and the price is moderate and not expensive. The facilities are a little old and the breakfast is simple. The rooftop restaurant feels great and you can see the top of the Acropolis.
In general, a good hotel at a good price. The location is good, 5-10 minutes walk to the metro and the main entrance to the acropolis. And right opposite the Temple of Zeus. There are a couple of cafes nearby. The hotel lobby is gorgeous! Just like royalty. The rooms are much simpler, the bathroom is of course very old, but that's often the case. The room is decorated in a retro style and is very clean. The breakfast is not very varied and tastes good. The restaurant has a great view.
Royal Olympia Hotel clearly shows it was once a luxury destination, but unfortunately, it no longer meets the standards expected of a 5-star hotel today. While the breakfast was enjoyable, it’s surprising that even basics like cappuccino aren’t complimentary. Worse, there’s no free water in the room, and they charged us €4 for a small bottle! A small, trendy hotel in a central part of town. Communication prior and check-in experience were very good. Being beside a restaurant with loud live entertainment and across the road from a night club, the room proved very noisy until midnight, when things settled down somewhat. Whether it is for business or travel, it is recommended. It is in the city center and is very convenient for meetings and travel. The only thing is that it is a little old, but it is acceptable. Stayed here with my family of 8 adults and one 5 month old baby for 4 nights. It was such an amazing stay. The staff was so kind, welcoming, and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was so amazing and had such a variety of foods and was in such a stunning dinning room. The pool and gym were also lovely. The restaurant (on the top floor next to the pool with an amazing view) was delicious and affordable...

We have been at the bar and the restaurant of the hotel; excellent cocktails, food and service. The only negative aspect is that pets are not allowed. We found this really inappropriate for the standards of such a hotel and given the fact that we live in the 21st century.. the management of the hotel should do something about it.
This was a great place to stay. We were able to walk to the Acropolis and other great areas from here. The staff was great. The bar in the lobby was fun. Our room was great. It was clean and quiet. The rooftop bar was great. The service was quick, and the bartender was very nice.

Manolo was incredibly quick and efficient with check-in, but what really stood out was how he made personal connections and genuinely...

But there is really no other well lit place in the hotel at night if you have to do midnight work in another time zone. And oddly, the internal security locks have been removed from the doors (see photo), and twice...
Hotel is beautiful. Lots of thought and detail in design. Boutique hotel. Beds were comfortable. Bartenders tea and bergamot drink was the best drink we had in Athens. Sushi restaurant on rooftop was picturesque and rolls, shrimp, & dumplings were amazing. Staff went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. Special shoutout to Michalis, the shift leader, for providing excellent service and kindness...
