The Port Square Hotel
Piraeus, Geor. Kasimati street 6 🧭 Map
This gem of a hotel in the port is fantastic. Tasteful furnished, roomy and very clean it has everything you need to a stay before boarding a cruise. We arrived very late at night and were greeted warmly and were checked in in no time. The WiFi is free and fast and the included buffet breakfast was very welcome. I would certainly stay again if I was boarding a cruise which is just a short walk away
We weren’t happy with the room, and they didn’t accept to change it.
Good location, nice rooms for Piraeus, but very limited noise insolation. Couldn’t sleep due to teenagers partying until 2.30.
Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Value for money. Clean and big room.
Front desk staff from check in to check out was amazing! Will stay here again when we return to Athens!
best location and nice clean rooms. Best place to stay if you wish to travel via ferry.

The beat place we’ve stayed in the area. The service is amazing - very welcoming staff accept you when you arrived, offering a welcoming drink on the rooftop. The room is well arranged and attendant every day, well maintained. The view is great. Especially when you wake up early for a breakfast on the roof when the sunshines.
We received The most wonderful welcome, friendly attentive staff, delicious reasonable priced food and the roof top bar had incredible 360 degree views. Great choice of bars and restaurants close by with a lovely vibe. Definitely would return, highly recommend.
Been coming to Greece for over 30 years, The Alex is the best hotel I've been to here. Visited once in 2022 and a second time in 2023, can guarantee I'll be staying here again when I'm back later on in 2024. The service is to the level of a very high class hotel. The staff are amazing; courteous, friendly, helpful, and professional. The view is breathtaking. The food is fantastic. The area is great...
Super friendly and helpful staff. The hotel and restaurant are lovely with a great selection of food and drinks - the rooftop has a beautiful view. A short walk to the restaurants on the water and a 15 minute walk to the metro and stadium. The rooms were very modern and clean.
Check in for the hotel was very quick and easy and they had my room available at 11am which was very convenient since I was traveling that morning. The room had a smelly odor that resembled musty mild scent. I spoke to front desk and they sent someone with a spray bottle of fresh scent and just sprayed it a few times. The bed was very hard and the pillows were very thin. The room was a spacious size...
The Alex Monte Kastella hotel was excellent! It had a beautiful view, was very modern and clean, and had an amazing atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and helpful, even allowing us an early check-in 🫶 The rooftop restaurant was stunning 😍

make sure to bring your own conditioner, otherwise great stay, there’s a dominos right down the way 💗
After a few complications and a necessary change of hotel, I was quite satisfied, even if everything was organized a little strangely.
Huge apartment, very convenient, clean room. It could use a little upkeep—chipped furniture, the people before us must have smoked a pack of cigarettes before we checked in.
I had a very good experience. The elevator stopped working, but I was sent to another building, which was a good as the original. Very happy.
It is downstairs from a grocery store, down the street from anything and everything. The transit system is amazing; pickup and drop off locations are very close. Clean and spacious property, newly remodeled.
Nice week with the family in a good spot. Well located in nice neighbourhood with good food, bars and bakeries. Easy to travel both to the beach or to city center.

Overall, the hotel is clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, our room had several significant issues. The bed, which is one of the most important aspects of a stay, was uncomfortable - the mattress was too firm, and the pillows were flat. Duck feather pillows were provided, but they had a strong odor and appeared unclean, which could pose health risks. Additionally, there was visible...
Too much noise, couldn't sleep a wink!
This Garden Inn was our home away from home in Athens in Dec 2025. The hotel is recently refurbished to a tasteful, practical and high quality standard. The beds are comfortable and the decor is pleasing. We had a warm welcome and a kind attention from both the reception and cleaning staff each day. They have a practical and modern gym and the rooftop bar and lounge is pleasant to stay in. I'm sure...
We had a great experience at the Hilton Gardens Inn Athens. We picked this hotel for it's location to the cruise port. We were very impressed with the quality of the staff we met. Komissa and Tatiana at the front desk were wonderful. They always had time to answer our questions and were very patient in helping us understand how to navigate around town. We appreciated their help and kindness. In...
This is definitely not a regular Hilton Garden Inn. Like a boutique hotel, so nice! Great staff, pool and rooftop are 5 star level. We definitely will be back. Rooms are clean and nice, small by American standards but accurate by European standard. Love this hotel, service rocks. Ask for Orfeas in the bar, he’s the best!
We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn on Syngrou Avenue after a last-minute change of plans due to a ferry strike. We arrived late in the evening and found the neighborhood to be less charming than other parts of Athens. The area felt busy and a bit rough around the edges, with lots of traffic and not much atmosphere. It didn’t feel unsafe, but it definitely lacked the character and magic that other central...

The facilities are relatively old and there is a strong smell of disinfectant in the room. But in front of the unbeatable sea view, these are acceptable
An incredibly beautiful getaway spot. You really feel like at home with its warm and friendly staff. The location is really comfortable for summer and winter. The view is amazing It's beautiful. I come every year and I hope I will come again.
This is my go to place when visiting Athens. I've been here a number of times throughout the years and the Coral hotel continues to surprise and deliver above and beyond. It's in a great spot, with the sea and a small pebble beach at the doorstep. The area is nice enough, with some good restaurants and shopping (including supermarkets) around. The rooms are good, though not the most soundproof you...
I found this to be a perfect choice for a few days before boarding a cruise. The hotel has a shuttle to the busier parts of Athens and to a private beach. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The restaurant and breakfast buffet were both decent and fairly priced.
I had the pleasure of staying at the Coral Hotel recently and I'm delighted to share my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel's impeccable cleanliness and the warm hospitality of the staff. The rooms were spotless, and the attention to detail was evident in every corner. The breakfast was amazing. The buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, from fresh pastries...
The hotel is very nice and comfortable. It's small, the rooms are very adequate. It has a good restaurant that serves dinner on the rooftop with an amazing sunset view. Breakfast is good. There's a small beach across the street with sunbeds reserved for hotel guests. Restaurants and cafés just around the corner. And excellent service. A nice affordable option near the Athens beach.

Really nice! I stayed there for a week and I'm overall satisfied. The staff was very friendly! The rooms were pretty tidy, the service came for cleaning frequent. The only flaw was the small bathroom with an open shower and most importantly - without a lock (which was pretty hard to deal with when living with four other people). Good there were a microwave, Nespresso machine and a kettle in my room...
One of the best Hotels, very moderm and quiet. Strange with seperated shower and Toilet, still I can recomend it.
I recently stayed at Hotel McQueen in Athens, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. Super nice and very friendly staff. Decent rooms with good amenities. We had a good view of the Acropolis. We were lucky enough cause it wasn't hot in September. Overall nice people in Greece
Loved the rawness of the area and its vibes and restaurants. The local food spots are the best and authentic. The Staff was very attentive and helped with any request we had. Thanks so Much!
2 km away from the Acropolis, the area is rather run-down and looks like a base for automobile-related industries. Go south, not north, walk south for 15 minutes and there is a large supermarket. The room is nice, the hygiene is good, and the service staff is very friendly. The hotel breakfast is bought from outside, so it is not recommended to eat.

Room, services and breakfast are great. My room was facing the main road thus traffic noise throughout the night
Decent hotel with friendly and helpful staff.
Next to the main road, it is very convenient to take a taxi, and there is Chinese food nearby! Good review
Good location and cheap, it is definitely the king of cost-effectiveness of four-star hotels in Athens, highly recommended
Stains on the sofa. Dark lightening. More importantly, there was a serious water flow problem for showering and washing faces, and they cannot fix the issue. We could not even clean ourselves properly. The location is not that good.
Hotel has good facilities, is nice and provided the necessary without being too overwhelmed or posh. good deal for medium class. The hotel was exactly what we were looking for.

The gym facilities are good, clean, comfortable and suitable for business travel. The location is also good, there is a tram outside, and it is very convenient to Chinatown. I will choose this place next time I go to an exhibition.
The front desk service is very good, with a welcome drink. The rooftop breakfast has a great view and a lot of breakfast options. The room is large and clean.
The breakfast room is on the roof garden, which is very beautiful. The breakfast is rich and delicious, especially the scrambled eggs, which are very tender and rare to taste. The room and bathroom are very spacious, but the window is a little small, and there is a fire escape outside the window, which feels a bit awkward. It should be a problem with my room type. Stayed here for one night before we got the ferry to the islands. Area is a bit seedy, with sex shows and clubs on the road. That being said, it is close to the heart of the city (25 min walk) and the hotel itself is clean, modern and has friendly/helpful staff. Decent value too. Room was really big and new. Would recommend if you need to stay somewhere for one night.
Just checked in today... What a place!!! The room is beautifully designed and clean, the view is epic for a city centre, was greeted by friendly and helpful staff, there is nothing they will not try and do for you. Nice hotel. Good location with plenty restaurants nearby. 10-20 min drive from the center, depending on the traffic. Rooms are spacious but a few things could have made it better, like hangers, bin in the bathroom etc. Breakfast was wonderful with anything you can ask for. This hotel is grand but it has all the warmth of a Greek family. The staff are warm, so friendly and helpful. We stayed here 4 different times during our rambling through Greece. Each time we returned, we were welcomed back like long lost family. What more could you want when you are so far away from home.
Not far from the centre of Greece was the hotel - could walk there if you wanted. Checkin was pleasant. A very small old style lift was pretty slow. Rooms were very comfortable - no view from our room. Did leave our bags there for a couple of days & had to pay for the service. Unsure if that is normal.

Close to the Acropolis, about 2 kilometers. The hotel room has a peculiar smell, the facilities are old, and the tables and chairs on the balcony are dusty. The bathroom is large and nice, and the breakfast is also OK. But I will not choose this hotel next time

We stayed 4 nights at this lovely hotel and couldn’t have asked for better. Our rooms had large balconies with a stunning view of the Acropolis. I really liked this place. The location is excellent. it’s close to all the main attractions in Athens. The hotel’s rooftop has an amazing view of the Acropolis. Definitely a great place to stay!
Staff are fantastic. The area is a bit rough, but walking distance to everything cool and touristy
Good rooms, easy to get checked in and clean, great value and location walkable to market and acroppolis. Only annoyance was the wifi was very poor in my room, going in and out.
Clean, comfortable and SO CLOSE to the acropolis. It took us about 20 mins to walk there from the hotel. We loved the rooftop terrace too, it has a beautiful view of the parthenon. Lovely hotel in a great part of town. Up a quiet street only one block away from bars and restaurants. The hotel is small and perfectly formed. The roof terrace is its best feature. Healthy living in the heart of Athens When I saw our twin beds, I wasn’t sure what to think; it was an unusual platform side by side set up, very in keeping with a yoga style flat. The mattress was so comfortable though. The service and breakfast exceeded expectations.

The hotel room was too small for the four of us with our luggage. Although it is a 4-star hotel, the facilities are average. It is close to the main road, so there was noise at night. The only thing I enjoyed was the rooftop view, which has a view of the Acropolis. It is near the metro and convenient if you don’t have luggage. However, with a lot of luggage, it is not a good idea because it is about...
Well deserve 4-star hotel. I booked it though booking so I am quiet suprise when I come to google map and see the overall star. The hotel does not really looked good from outside and the first impression is also bad. The lobby was on the side street and should have more light. The elevator function but clearly outdated. Apart from that everything else is perfect. The staff was super nice and driendly...
Very good hotel with nice roof bar with view to the acroplis. Close to main train station and metro. A lot of noise 3rd floor under construction. And Breakfast must be served at least until 10:30 a.m..
Extremely old. Very bad and small rooms. Doors and walls made of paper. Very loud, impossible to relax. If you ever book here, ask for the renovated part of the hotel which is only the 4th and 5th floor (more pricey). Very good people, especially Vasiliki from the reception. Nice rooftop bar.

But overall, the location is good, within walking distance to the city centre and just a short, inexpensive taxi ride away. The hotel itself is nice, with clean, newly refurbished rooms (some are still awaiting renovation). The highlight...
