Location: Crete-Rethymno, 600 m from the resort village of plakiás settlement, 32 km from Rethymno town, 130 km from international airport Nikos Kazantzakis, in 87 km from the airport of Hania.

A jewel! It’s a lovely family-owned hotel on the quieter and more beautiful side of Plakias. It is located directly next to the beach. The rooms are simple but have everything you need and feel very authentic with their colourful doors and windows. The breakfast is served on the beautiful terrace under olive trees with a beautiful view of the bay. If you want you can have dinner there too. The authentic Cretan dishes made us not want to dine anywhere else. You will feel like part of the family after a couple of days.

Very beautiful and cozy hotel by The sea. Our room was spacious and brand new with so nice colors and a nice balcony looking at the yard with the olive trees and the sea towards the sunset. The people were very friendly and hostile, everything so professional.

We stayed for two weeks at this lovely hotel in the corner of Plakias. Very quiet, great breakfast and very friendly and helpfull owners and servicepersonal. The architecture of the hotel is very beautiful with all the stairs and different angles.
Only the Wifi in our room was poor, because our room was in the far east. The owners said they would repair that.

The location is the best and the people who run the place are warm and real. Also, it seems like a secret, but the food here is world-class farm to table...easily the best in all of Plakias.

It's been years since I've been here. I have a relative who used to frequently go to this hotel for her birthday. The hiking right next to the hotel up next to the cliff overlooking the bay was amazing and a sensation I don't think I will ever forget.

We had a very nice time in the bay of plakias. As it is on the south side of crete, there are way less tourists here and it seems like a more authentic experience compared to the large beach resorts at the north side.
There is still lots of things to do:
🏖 Perfect beach (2mins walking, sunbeds + umbrella ~5€/day, plenty of bars…)
⛰ small caves and tunnels right next to the hotel
🍽 many good restaurants (check out elia in sellia)
🌴 preveli palm beach / canyon nearby
🚗 rental car recommended to get to chania, rethmno etc.
Yangos and his team really made us feel at home! The hotel is perfectly located at the end of the bay and most rooms have a nice view over the beach. The breakfast is nothing too fancy but still holds everything for a good start of the day and is always accompanied with the noise of the cicadas on the nice terrace. :)
We will come back one day for sure!

Amazing location because it is right on the beach and in a quiet part of Plakias away from the traffic noise and other bars and clubs. This is a family hotel with clean rooms and good food.
