Reviews
The hotel is very kid-friendly, with a large park near the beach offering plenty of space and sunbeds, making it a great place for families. The staff was friendly and always willing to help.
One downside, however, was the lift situation. There are only two lifts—one internal and one external—and during busy times, there can be quite a wait. Fortunately, our room was on the second floor, so we often used the stairs instead.
The hotel’s private beach was clean with plenty of free sunbeds, making it easy to relax by the water. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend this hotel, especially for families.
The food is decent, but breakfast and dinner are quite monotonous. For the period we stayed, we expected much more variety, especially in terms of fruit. The daytime snacks, which consist of sandwiches, banana bread, and ice cream, become tiresome over time. We found the lunch period to be very short, and it was always questionable whether we could make it in time due to our young child's afternoon nap. Nonetheless, I must commend the restaurant manager who kindly allowed me to take food to the room for my wife, who stayed with the child during her nap.
Regarding beverages, it is quite odd that there is a restriction that a person can only carry two drinks at a time. I mention this because we were with five other families and always tried to bring drinks for our spouses or friends. Additionally, I did not understand why alcoholic cocktails are not served at the bar near the beach, which would be very convenient for guests, but are only available in the hotel lobby. It is also noteworthy that Greek coffee is charged separately and is not included in the all-inclusive package.
The hotel consists of two blocks with around 600 rooms, but unfortunately, there is only one elevator, which is quite small and has long wait times, especially when new guests arrive or old ones leave with their luggage. There is another small glass elevator at the end of the hallway, which is very convenient to avoid the crowd occasionally. The pools and beach do not have enough shade, which was very important to us with small children. This could be resolved with some canopies or awnings.
Of course, these are just my personal observations and experiences after spending two weeks at the hotel. Another unbelievable thing was that we never had a consistent supply of hot or cold water; it always fluctuated from lukewarm to boiling or cold during showers, which was very challenging for bathing a baby. The rooms were decent, and the housekeeping ladies were truly wonderful, providing us with fresh towels daily. However, when considering the overall picture, I regret to say that neither we nor our friends are likely to return due to the price versus what we received. The hotel is decent, but I believe it simply does not warrant the cost. Nonetheless, thanks to the wonderful hotel staff who made the average stay more bearable.
Negative: The air conditioner does not work in the rooms, the management lies and does not give right information, it is crowded in the elevator. The problem with air conditioners is in most of the rooms.
I DID ASK FOR ROOM CHANGE AND YOU TOLD ME THAT I CAN'T CHANGE THE ROOM AS YOU ARE FULLY BOOKED SO DON'T LIE!!!
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! THIS HOTEL DOESN'T HAVE 5 STARS AT ALL! It is questionable whether it would have three stars. We were in this hotel with friends and small children aged from a few months to two years. I don't know where to start with how bad the experience was. The positive thing is that the employees are really wonderful, they try to please you as much as possible, but.... During the check in, the valet dropped the baby food preparation device, which burst and made it difficult to use during the entire stay. Of course, this went without any comment considering that it would be difficult to prove that he was whole when we arrived. The rooms are not bad, they are not the latest, but the bed is comfortable and they clean the room every day. As far as cleaning is concerned, there was never a set cleaning time, so it happened that we only had to change the towels from the door because the child was sleeping. Don't expect much from the mini bar in the room, four small bottles of water, one juice and one soda for children. It was filled the same way every day. It happened that they refilled our toilet paper with already used rolls. I believe that it is not up to them, but up to the hotel management. I MUST ESPECIALLY EMPHASIZE THAT FOR ALL 10 DAYS, WE BATHED WITH WATER THAT GOES ALTERNATELY, THAT IS, HOT WATER GOES FOR TWO MINUTES AND COLD WATER FOR THE SAME TIME! It is not pleasant for us elders, let alone for small children!!! It also happened in the rooms that people were without air conditioning for two or three days in the heat with small children until hotel fix it. Although you have an all inclusive service, expect to pay extra for real comfort. So there are no alcoholic cocktails on the beach, you can only take beer. THERE IS NO SNACK BAR! You just have some stale and dry sandwiches. Nothing special in relation to the hotel lobby, because only in the hotel lobby you can get alcoholic cocktails. What we were able to find out is that before the beginning of the season, they decided to start charging for that bar, starting this year, and that they intentionally removed alcoholic cocktails from the beach so that people would be forced to go to the hotel lobby, so that of course they would get bored walking to get a drink and to drink less and the hotel to save money. The food was not bad, the choice was really big and it was very tasty. But it's the same every day. Mostly monotonous food, but you can try it out and it's delicious. But here too, there is a lack of staff because they cannot replenish the amount of food that is eaten so usually you have to wait for 15-20 minutes for a new batch. The tables in the restaurant are mostly full and very often there is no place to sit. Also, in the restaurant itself, they often turn off the air conditioning, so we want to suffocate from the heat. The highlight is the existence of one elevator per 600+ rooms! The elevator is small, the few people fit in it, and it is slow! There is also a glass elevator that leads outside the hotel to the children's pool, which is a bit fast, but if 4 people can fit in it, it is good. Also, in order to get to the room, you have to go through the lobby of the hotel, which can be very unsightly and out of place if you are returning from the beach or pool. On the last day, I asked them to give us a trolley for stuff and for someone to help us with it, and I got a stroller for stuff that I had to push myself into the elevator up to the 5th floor with the baby in my arms! Of course, afterwards I dragged it down the same, just loaded with things, to the parking lot. I note again that I do not believe that it is up to the employees as much as it is up to the management and only because of the kindness of the employees, it is two stars, otherwise it would be one big zero, if it were possible to put a zero. I have more...
