Where to stay in Nagykanizsa

Nothing special - old building and sometimes very small bathroom with odd toilet placement. But for the price ok. Breakfast also ok

Good place (center of the city) and good view from room. I make a stop in this hotel for one night. I was satisfactory. Friendly staff. Inside was clean. Hotel has old style.

Old type hotel! No air-conditioned, existing TV is useless! I give 3 stars coz it looks quite clean and in the center of the city!

Good hotel, near hotel there is supermarket, 10 min walk to the city centre, clean room, but not very comfortable to take shower all water is on the floor, need shower curtain.

As we come in looking for the right table,the waitress ,she asked us what we want to drink! She didn't wait that we seatdown...Maybe it is the way how they approach the Guest.

Relatively clean. The breakfast was not very good. Pillows were flat. The towels were not replaced during our stay; we had to ask for more. The worst part was that the air conditioning didn't work so it was very humid and warm in the rooms! But overall, it was a decent place to stay for the price.

Hosting my extended family for lunch was excellent. Very kind and flexible services, good kitchen and moderate prices.

The food took a long time and they got an order quite wrong. Food was otherwise fresh and delicious.

Nice place, close to the highway and to Croatian border. Food is quite good but the service needs to be improved. (no bread and paprika to goulash soup, not even spoon, on entering 4 waiters without any job in a private discussion and none of them taking care of us .. etc.) For such pricing (prices are high compared to local prices) expect a bit more.

Good stop enroute from Slovakia to Croatia, just off the highway but no road noise. Many nationalities here. Good dinner choices although outside terrace is quite small. Small shop also selling water/snacks in the hotel

Simply fantastic. Very caring owners. Good traditional hungarian food. The Libazsir (preserved goose pate under goose fat) was simply melting on the tongue. I could not resist buying two jars. A place to pay a visit without doubt.

Top restaurant in the area, just 2km off the highway. Seasonal food, fresh ingredients, lovely place at all. Prices are reasonable, staff is very kind. Highly reccomended.

Very good food, nice service, chilly atmosphere on the terrace. And you should definitely try their wellness!

The restaurant is superb, kids friendly shady terrace and garden. All the dishes very tasty. Do not leave without tasting dödölle.

The best if you want to hike near Nagykanizsa and you just want a place to stay overnight. The staff is very kind, recommended for everyone!

It was good because we arrived at 11pm and the lady was nice but the room was small and smelt of mould. We were at first floor. Is not too far from the main road. There are many hotel on the same road may it is worth asking somewhere else also.

We stayed only one night but the place is very clean, beds are comfortable and breakfast decent for the price. Hotel has a free parking inside the courtyard which is very safe. Even the reception closes at 22 , receptionist waited us until 23 to arrive which was very nice...

The rooms are spacious enough, the bathrooms are newly renovated. There was a small fridge in our room. Overall, it's quite comfortable. The staff was friendly, they answered all our questions and attended to our queries. The location is great, it's close to the main square and small city centre of Nagykanizsa. There is plenty of parking inside the property and a well-kept small garden with chairs...

Nice and cosy place to stay. Room was spacious and well equipped. Only thing I missed was something warm for breakfast.

Very good reception, the rooms are being restored and are clean. Connected TV and WIFI provided. 2 minutes from the center of Nagykanizsa and close to shops. Free and secure parking.

Very clean and good looking place to spend a night during a trip. Nice and English speaking personnel, everything is quite new and tidy there.

Cuisine is fantastic - recommendation. As for accomodation service - never more. Horrible water sounds from pipes in heating/cooling very old device mounted on the wall - room nr. 22 - Never never more.

Super Food with ok price, beautiful place to take rest while traveling from Adriatic Sea coast to Budapest

First of all I'd like to address that the food itself was correct although the soup wasn't that warm however other than that it was fine. I would recommend it for the food. But the service was not the kindest and we haven't received any utensils or napkins so we had to coup some ourselves

Rooms are tidy and cheap, but the breakfast waiter was a bit grumpy. Coffee was great so that makes up for it.

The host is a lovely person. As far as rooms are concerned: comfortable but old, in some areas it could be cleaner, half of the sockets were sealed with tape, no ventilation system in the bathroom, one sink was leaking

We spent the night here while transiting Hungary (family of 3) and rented the triple room. Excellent place to spend the night! Amazingly clean and the area is absolutely beautiful. Room had air conditioning, hot water and coffee. Parking is also available.

Our stay of 1 night has been excellent here. The rooms were very clean, big and confy, very good for everyone, children, adults and grandparents. The difference of our stay has been made by the owner, a very pleasant, welcoming, nice lady who makes everything she can to make us feel perfect. I really recommend this place. Thank you so much!

nice small hotel with friendly owner. Room was clean, bathroom also. In front of hotel is small bakery and about 100m is nice big playground for children.

Such a cozy, beautiful and clean place! We spent one night here with camper van on our way from Croatia to Hungary. We arrived a bit late, but the owners were super friendly. The parking area had a lot of shady spots. Shower with hot water. Electricity available. Quiet. Thank you so much for having us and 100% recommend this place!

Have travelled from England, through France, Italy and Slovenia to Budapest for the Sziget festival. Was fortunate enough to find this place on the way back. Very nice, neat and clen rooms, with excellent service! Although there's not much English, we had no problem to communicate and understand. All this with great coffee in the morning and a huge smile :) And, literally 5 minutes of M7!

Excellent place. Had accident on bicycle which resulted with me being taken to hospital in ambulance. Owner left wedding reception to check I was okay and to take me home! ! Lovely site also with quaint details.
