Headline: Not worth the hype or money
Stayed for 3 nights with our 2year old ,300€ per night including breakfast and dinner. Seeing the pictures and the ratings we were quite excited but our expectations were slammed. After the first night we were thinking about leaving.

Very loud hotel neighbors were running and screaming around until 12 in the night...no one tried to step in.
Food was still in the fridge from the previous guest.
Ants on the floor. Dirty pants laying on the hotel hall way for a whole day.
We had dinner included but drinks you had to pay extra...not even water was available for free.
Staff did what they are supposed to but you had at no point the feeling they are happy that you are here.
Activities they offer are okay but pretty standard, not deserving "Family Hotel".
Bed was extra hard, almost like sleeping on the floor. City is in the middle of nowhere...nothing happening around there.

Summary:
Not recommending it, there are better ways to spend your holiday for that price.

Amazing hotel , especially for kids.
Lots of kids activities, playgrounds and so many.
Indore pool is very good and the kids played for several hours, it was warm and in good temperature.
Regarding food was a bit dissapointing. 1.brackfast felt to much the same after three days as there not to much variety.
2.dinner got a different selection each day and over all fine , the issue is that they dont supply any drink even water (you need to pay for it pluse service) , it was very annoying as the waiters got bussy so you left thersty untill they get time to take an order and bring it to you( so drink before, one evening we got asked for a glass of water by the table next to us as they where so thersty).
Enjoy your time.

Kolping Hotel is located in the town of Hévíz. For those who want to stay close to Lake Balaton, keep in mind that it’s about a 15-minute drive to the nearest beach.
The hotel is very family-oriented and especially suitable for children up to around 10 years old. There are many small gardens, a petting zoo, organized children’s activities, the Bobo Park with a climbing wall, trampolines, and indoor play areas, as well as basketball and football courts. There are also several pools for kids, plus an outdoor shaded pool.
Overall, this is a great choice for families with young kids, but less ideal for those seeking luxury or proximity to Lake Balaton.

I can only recommend this hotel, which is built for families with kids. This year it’s going to be our 3rd visit, absolutely worth the price (we come here from Bratislava, there is nothing comparable in Slovakia). Amazing food, large, comfy and kids-prepared rooms, very good pools and wellness, also an adult-only wellness. And yes, in the Bobo Fun Park, both parents and kids can have fun and break a sweat.

We spent a few days here, and we definitely recommend a visit with kids. :)
The staff kept the room clean, and the whole environment was beautiful.
A wide variety of food options were available for breakfast and dinner, which were both more than good.
I didn't like the additional charges for things like coffee from the bar or pancakes. These were very expensive. I also think the parking fee was unfair, because the hotel itself is quite expensive.

I would like to highly recommend the spa at Hotel Kolping. I had two treatments there: a Swedish full-body massage plus a head massage, both done by Agnes, a highly professional and skilled medical therapist. It was one of the best treatments I've ever had—her work was outstanding, and I thoroughly enjoyed the calm, focused atmosphere she created, exactly how a treatment should be.
Additionally, I had a manicure with gel polish, and Betty did an incredible job. She's a perfectionist and made sure not to miss even the tiniest detail. I am beyond happy with the precise and flawless results.
Thank you to the wonderful team for these amazing treatments. Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel specially made for kids. Negative review is about the fact no water is provided for diner and stuff knew very little English. Food was great, even cater for gluten free food. The facilities were very good.

This is exceptionally well organized and managed family and kid friendly hotel. There is every activity available and every need taken care of. It's like you have your home next to all the facilities kids love. The staff is extremely polite, emphatic and professional.
