Villa Floridiana in Anagni

I don’t think I have enough words to explain how great is this hotel. We reserve the 8 rooms at this hotel/ villa. They were a mix between quadruples, singles (with almost a double size bed), doubles, etc. the rooms were fantastic, details everywhere to make you feel the grandeur of an old villa but with the modern amenities. The bathrooms are great, with windows to gorgeous views.
The hotel has AC but we didn’t need it as was fairly nice at night (this was late September).
Our family felt right at home, we go from room to room and we almost thought we were living there forever (we wish!!)
The grounds are gorgeous, a beautiful fountain, gardens and a huge piazza welcomes you and you can also eat there. Everything is romantic and quiet, with grandeur but homie!
After the garden a huge iron and glass door opens to the front desk and reception area, there you will find the BEST PART OF VILLA FLORIDIANA: the owners/workers. They are SIMPLY AMAZING! All of them are perfect: helpful, funny, accommodating and flexible. The crown is for Melissa, the daughter of the owners, that has several task and all of them are done perfectly. Her husband is the amazing chef, Silvia is a worker that becomes your friend..: the mamma (owner) doesn’t speak English but you can see her heart of gold and her continuos work… everyone is just amazing.
We had my daughters wedding and Melissa helped us SO MUCH: she helped to print vows 5 seconds before leaving to the ceremony, she worked an updo for my daughter, helped with pictures, called florists at last minute and everything in between. She is TRULY A GEM.
The included breakfast was delicious and we felt just at home eating and talking with the workers that were helping at the restaurant.
They make coffees and cappuccinos on demand and they are to die for…
Also…. THEY DO WEDDINGS AND EVENTS … we just didn’t knew before going!
I can keep writing because is so much to say! We are already dreaming and planning family reunions there in the future.
Go to Villa Floridiana and you will love it as much as we did!

Welcoming front desk staff. Good, clean and spacious rooms. There is a restaurant in the property that serves 5 days a week. There are a few restaurants which are close by. Small town environment, not to many shops close by (walkable).

We stopped here for one night on the way from Rome to Naples. This small hotel is in an old and charming house. The room was quite large and comfortable. The staff was very nice and when we checked out we were given a box of home made cookies for the road. Excellent value.

Nice location and good restaurant!

Absolutely wonderful hotel and restaurant! The grounds are lovely - the hotel is a former private home converted into a gorgeous boutique villa with a beautiful garden nestled in the Italian countryside. We stopped here over nite during our trip from Rome to Naples. The restaurant on the main floor was superb!! The food was impeccable as was the service. The staff - especially our host Mirco - were so impressive (even by our high Los Angeles standards :) we enjoyed the best meal of our 6 wk European vacation (across Portugal / Spain / Italy). Truly a gem not to be missed if you’re in the region.
