Hotel Taormina

It is a basic hotel that was very clean and in a convenient location just 5 minutes from the metro. It’s also located right next to one of the best gelato places in the city! Beware there is no elevator and you have to pay $5 extra a day for air conditioning. The front service is very nice and gave us extra pillows and things when needed. They will also hold your bags for free if you have a leaving flight later in the day. They no longer offer breakfast unfortunately but there are many cafes right by. They do have vending machines with cold and hot drinks and some basic snacks. The shower pressure was good, sheets were soft, mattress was on the harder side but we slept well, and we couldn’t hear the outside at all which was nice. It’s a good place for an economical stay!

We stayed here one night before our flight back home. It was clean and the room was very nice. The shower was more spacious than some of the other European ones. Check in was fast and check out was even faster, which was great, since we had a flight to catch. I appreciate that they keep the door locked for safety.

We had an enjoyable one night stay here. We arrived early, around 11am, from our flight and they were able to give us our room. It is about a 15 minute walk from the train. We had our own bathroom and everything was clean. It is 5 euro for air conditioning and ours originally wasn’t working but they quickly had someone come fix it while we were out for the day. We would stay again if in the area and wanting something quick, easy and cheap.

We chose this hotel as it was the cheapest price without being too far away from the sites, so didn't expect too much from it.
What we found was very clean well maintained rooms with good double glazing as the trams could be noisy that passed by.

It was close to a lovely little park where you could get breakfast and was near to a very good restaurant for the evenings.

We found the staff to be very kind and helpful as we don't speak Italian well and were a godsend when one of us lost our credit cards in a taxi and they helped us to get them back swiftly.

Overall, a good basic room within a short walk of the station and Colosseum.

The hotel is located 15 minutes on foot from the train station, which is a big advantage because you don't have to take a taxi. The hotel is in a good location to all attractions, lots of shops, lots of restaurants, just a really good location. The hotel is very clean, garbage bins, soap and towels are changed every day, great! the price is also great, I highly recommend it. Staff is very nice, I highly recommend it.

Room is nice and clean. Hotel is located on second floor and there is no elevator... Staff is very nice and receptionists speak English very well.
