The pictures on the website are out dated. It is definitely not a 4* hotel. Breakfast was left out from 7am until end of Breakfast with flies on anything not covered up.
We were shown to our room and the air con wasn't working. After 30 minutes of him trying to fix it we had to move rooms. Lift didn't work in our section. Not enough power points, towel rail was broken, shower leaked, toilet seat was broken, safe didn't work, bottom cleaner was hanging off the wall and everything looked tired. The public toilet in the hotel was disgusting and had poo all round the seat.
Bedding was clean and made every day along with fresh towels. Just needs some money spent on it to bring it up to scratch. Staff are pleasant.

Simple and convenient place. We explored Rome very intensely - leaved hotel at 8a.m. and returned at 10 p.m. So I can report we slept very well in peace and quiet with convenient temperature.

The room was clean and the bed comfy, but overall it’s feeling quite tiered. Unfortunately our room had no hot water and we had to use a different room to shower in, for the first morning. We then had to change room for our second night as still not fixed when we got back. This would have been fine, other than we weren’t informed and had to complain and ask to speak to the manager in order to get it changed. Location great about a 30min walk to the colosseum and 90min to the Vatican. In summary, ok for a short break, we were there 2 nights, but wouldn’t liked to have stayed longer.

Stayed for a few days with friends. The hotel is a bit dated but the beds are comfy, the staff are lovely and helpful. The location was good with bars and restaurants in close distance. The only downside I found was the shower in our bathroom. It wasn't the best and the cubicle was small.

I use trip advisor regularly to look at the hotel before I book! But I wasn’t ready for the quality of the room.. damp, cracked walls, dirty areas outside that don’t get cleaned at all in our 4 days, cracked patio window, sink with no plug and only hot water on the bathroom, shower like warm at best after running for over 5 mins and dangerous switch that was broken for the large shower head! Having asthma damp is very detrimental to me and yes I spoke to the staff on arrival who did nothing f about this! This is NOT a 4* hotel and as a surprise birthday present for by partner it was extremely disappointing. Plaster fell during the night onto the bed which was dirty and damp. Room is very small with steps in and out of all areas which are very hard to see! No room for 2 to use wardrobe, safe not fixed so if you use it you can just lift it out, no room to out any tea & coffee facilities, you have to live out of your suitcase and edge slowly around the bed to actually get in! It is a shame as it isn’t the cheapest option in Rome and as a 50th birthday present it was a disappointment. Yes I informed hotel and EasyJet straight way but nothing either could do… I travel quite a bit and I live to give positive feedback! Unfortunately I couldn’t with this hotel.

Just landed back in the UK. Firstly the pictures on every site promoting this hotel is out of date. There is no bar outside with lovely canopy. The bar if that's what you call it had alcohol there for so long that all the bottles were dusty and so was the glasses. Very disappointed definitely a misrepresentation of what we were expecting. The rooms are very in keeping with Italy it is not contemporary but dark wood. Definitely need updating. The bed was so uncomfortable it was like sleeping on wooden boards. You could see two dents next to eachother where people have laid there. Yes you could hear traffic outside and people entering their room but that is expected. The breakfast was very basic with meats and cheeses, definitely had concerns with one pair of tongs to pick up the meat and cheese. Even more concerned when I see people picking the meat and cheese up with their fingers and putting it back again!. The area now I have stayed out of town and here. The area isn't the best lots of graffiti around and a few homeless people. You have the metro about 5 mins walk where you can get a ticket to get you around for about £2 for 100 mins this can also be used on the buses. There are other options for tickets definitely worth doing. I wouldn't say the main attractions are in walking distance save your feet for seeing stuff. You have a few bars which do food they don't get it to you in a hurry but hey you have to rest at stone point. Restaurants near the hotel we only be really are at couple of places and both of those were Chinese. Amazing!!! Very tasty good price across to the Chinese was the best ice-cream parlour I have ever seen. 3.80 for a huge ice-cream or you can get one in town for 7quid and have 2 spoonfuls. You have a super market 5 mins walk so get your booze on there because the hotel don't have any. From the v airport you can get a train to the Termini the main station near by it is about 20 mins walk to the hotel. Got stung once at a restaurant the name is Bar Zinzilla 2 glasses of wine 2 beers and a sharing appetizers cost 140 quid always ask for a menu lol looking at the reviews we got off lightly. So my review is this hotel is pretty shocking definitely not 4 star I would give it 2. I'm giving it a 1 because the lady that cleaned our room was brilliant clean towels and bedding every day. But I would never got there again.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Best Roma for three nights. The location is quite good – about a 20-minute walk to the Colosseum, with a metro station less than 10 minutes away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby (at least seven within five minutes), and the three we tried were excellent. The staff were generally friendly, the continental breakfast was decent, and our room was clean and tidied daily. However, there were a few issues that took the shine off our stay. We booked a standard room, which had no drawers at all – meaning we had to live out of our suitcases. The wardrobe only had four hangers, and despite requesting more on both our first and second nights, they never arrived. One day we also returned to find the room had been cleaned but completely lacked toilet paper, so we had to go down to reception to ask for some. Overall, this hotel has potential and offers a decent base for exploring Rome. With a bit more attention to the small details, especially in terms of guest requests, it could have easily earned four stars from us.

The hotel itself is old worldy but has everything you could want. The rooms are clean with mini fridge and well set up bathroom. The rooms are cleaned daily. Well situated and only a short walk to the colloseum. 20 mins direct on foot but as already said good public transport links. The only downside for us was the external door to our block did not open properly and we could constantly hear the bang and clang of the metal as people just pulled it open. Other than that it was Great! The breakfast is continental only with some hit eggs. Highly recommend. The staff are lovely and attentative. Great stay.

This hotel is labeled as a 4 star but i dont believe it really deserves it. The rooms are incredibly noisy and you can basically hear anything your neighbours are doing. Also in both my room and my parents room theres something wrong with the toilet, the seat is crooked in our room and in my parents the flush buttons will not work and if they try to flush the entire plate with the buttons just falls off. The staff is kind though and the location is amazing, only being a 20 minute walk away from the colosseum and the public transport station.

It is identified as a 4 star hotel but it is far from being one! Tiny and very dated bedroom and bathroom. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired and breakfast is very basic with ingredients such as bread and cakes not being fresh! A very basic 2 star hotel is how you would classify it.
