Hotel Best Roma

Stayed at this hotel with a tour group. I’ve spent a lot of time at “4 star hotels” in Europe this summer, and this one was one of the worst. I don’t like to complain or write reviews, so doing this comes from a place of warning. The good news is that the AC works very well, which is a change from other hotels. However, the list of pros ends there. The shower was extremely tiny (even as a petite woman). The shower barely drained, which meant I left the shower feeling grosser than when I had entered. A friend in our group stayed at this hotel and had a CEILING TILE in the bathroom fall on his head, requiring 4 stitches. The quilts on the bed were outdated, stained, uncomfortable, and gross. Breakfast was depressing. I know finding hotels in Rome is difficult, but avoid this one if possible.

We regret to inform you that our recent stay at the hotel did not meet our expectations. It is disappointing to report that there was a lack of transparency from the hotel owner regarding the pricing, resulting in us having to pay more than initially quoted. This experience has left us feeling unsatisfied with the overall service provided.

Furthermore, we found it concerning that the room we were allocated did not meet the standards we were expecting. The cleanliness and maintenance of the room were below par, and this further added to our disappointment during our stay. We believe that it is essential for hotels to uphold a certain level of quality to ensure a pleasant experience for their guests.

Moving forward, we hope that the hotel management takes our feedback into consideration and works towards improving their pricing transparency and overall quality of service. As guests, we value honesty and integrity in our interactions with hospitality establishments, and we trust that the necessary steps will be taken to prevent such negative experiences in the future. room walls were dirty, no hot water in the shower, sink was clogged constantly, mold on the ceiling, front desk man tried to walk away with our passports after saying he needed to make a copy but the copier was behind him. ground shook from train throughout the day and night, walls are so thin you can hear everything

This hotel is really awful. Dirty, rude management that constantly told us to be quiet in our own rooms when talking in a normal tone, run down and not well maintained, breakfast was old pastries from the previous days with dirty coffee machines, and extremely small. Would never stay there again.

The worst hotel I’ve stayed in, the staff were nice and helpful though that’s the only positive
I was staying here for a week, the room was small and dirty there was dust everywhere especially under the bed there was loads ! There were left over drinks in the fridge and mould in fridge they obviously didn’t clean the room since the last people stayed !
The sink and shower was broken too :(
The beds were dented like the mattress had a dip in them
No air conditioning, I had to keeping going to reception to ask if they could turn it off and on as the telephone didn’t work either !!
Location was okay, a walk away from the supermarket and gelato shop but is 50 mins walk away from the city centre
Then the cherry on top when checking out I had to pay a tourist tax charge of €75 !!! I wouldn’t have minded but staff didn’t tell me about this and for what we got it wasn’t worth paying that much money for the awful hotel room :( A waste of money ! Don’t recommend
