Negatives would be the shower, which has extra plumbing and faucets that stick out into the tub making it difficult to use. The second is that the hotel did not make up our room despite us asking, so we only had fresh towels/sheets for 2 out of our 3 nights. For a four star hotel we expected better.
The only small issues I had were: the bed was a little too stiff to my liking (my personal preference only and nothing to blame on their part) and the bathtub/shower was set taller than the bathroom floor. It was hard to step out of the tub as my foot would slip in the tub and I would have to use the towel heater to brace myself...
But other than those 2 issues, I would highly recommend and I will definitely return back to this property.
The rooftop was top notch.
As always we ask locals for advice and we asked Mike for recommendations and he told us about La Chicca Boutique Restaurant and we had the best meal of our stay in there.
Definitely recommended, we’ll be back when in Florence.

One aspect of the hotel we appreciated was the rooftop bar. It's very nice, with a courteous staff and a very friendly bar manager. We were on the rooftop for New Years Eve to watch the fireworks and the manager passed out champagne. He even treated us to a signature cocktail that was delicious (if you ever read this reply with the cocktail name, it was one of the best I've ever had!). Its was a really special experience and one we will remember fondly.
