Adler Cavalieri Hotel-Private Spa & Gym

Our stay at the Alder Cavalieri was perfect. From the location, the staff and the amenities were absolutely everything we could have wanted. Breakfast had a very wide selection of options and the coffee and pastry area on the terrace was a lovely addition to an exceptional hotel. The staff were all so pleasant and happy to help in any way they could.

Truly one if the nicest hotels we have stayed in would highly recommend.

Nice hotel well located close to the train station and tourist sites. As with Missy hotels in Italy, you subtract one star to get a feel for how this hotel compares to other hotels in other countries, so it is a solid three star, maybe a bit more. Staff is wonderfully helpful, rooms are clean and quiet. The included breakfast is great. There is limited parking in the basement level of the Hotel, and it is best to reserve this beforehand. The street in front of the hotel is a bit edgy but we had no problems.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Adler Cavalieri. The entire staff is welcoming and gracious. The generous breakfast buffet gave us a nutritious quick start to our day. Ten years ago we might have walked to every attraction we visited, but now we rely on taxis, and the desk staff always procured the rides for us. We enjoyed an hour at the spa.

Lovely hotel! Clean, luxurious, has great facilities included. They have a lovely man who helps take all Ur luggage to Ur room.

As other reviews have said, yes it can be noisy, however, I feel everything else about the hotel makes up for that.

Perfect location, near shops, restaurants, museums and everything you may need. Hotel is beautiful, nice deco, the breakfast is amazing. Make sure to ask for it as they seem to forget to tell you there is breakfast. They also seem to conveniently forget to tell you anything about the free spa before 11 am. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Oh they will also do not tell you about tea time on the second floor. We accidentally came across some of these “value added services” and found out about some things from online reviews. The rooms are not tiny, there is no iron so you have to ask for it. The biggest grip aside from the service (lousy front desk, aggressive breakfast staff unless you get on their good side) was the bathroom. I am not sure what it is, but it smells really bad. Like a damp old smell that is borderline sewage like. It comes and goes but incredibly potent at night. We accidentally left the bathroom door open before we went out and goodness me, that was not a great experience. The handyman and the service guys who show you to your room are realllllly nice.

Our stay was perfect! We had this great receptionist to welcome us, she spoke Portuguese which made it even better. Room was clean and spacious. Location is excellent, everything was in walking distance. And the breakfast team is just the best, seriously, we have never been to a hotel with such a wonderful team. Thanks for making our stay unforgettable

This was by far my favorite hotel during our trip to Italy. We got a room with outdoor seating (not really a 'balcony' per se), the bed was large and the room was very spacious. The breakfast was AMAZING as there was a lot of options to choose from - croissants, cheeses, meats, fruits, toasts, all kinds of breakfast pastries, etc. etc.! The cocktail bar was also amazing too - though kind of pricey (not really complaining though as the drinks tasted amazing, they provided salty snacks, and the service was great!). The staff was helpful and super nice. Location was pretty good overall - you have to walk a bit to some of the major sites (but it's well worth it!), but it is a 6 min walk to the train station (major plus for us!).

Everything was excellent. Starting from the *exceptional* reception, to the attention from the staff at all points, including trying to fix some issues my mother in law had with her mobility problems. A step above and beyond, to be honest. Breakfast was very good (really, amazing scrambled eggs, the best I have had by far, so good the tray was almost always empty :D). Another good thing... close to a McDonalds if you have a child who suddenly realizes proper pizza and pasta are not his thing.

Only drawback IMHO is that garage could be better (wider, more parking slots), but I don't think it's something easy to fix. The exceptional location (really, 15 minutes walk from most important places you want to check in Florence) means that it's a building that is hard to expand or reform to fix the garage issues. And if I remember correctly, the hotel has some kind of arrangement with a nearby parking, so this issue is already handled by the garage.

Because it was a special occasion, we reserved one hour for private use of the spa. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, sauna, comfy chairs and listening to relaxing music. The following morning we had a fabulous buffet breakfast with a huge variety of food options. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. We also used their laundry services and our clothes returned that evening freshly pressed and hanging in the closet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend staying here!

This hotel is perfect for access to train station/ bus station which was vital as we did not have a car. It is in a great area with a quiet, local feel with some great restaurant choices and bars. I had booked a balcony room but on arrival, our room did not have a view. We mentioned to reception and they were extremely helpful and we moved room early the next morning. The rooms were clean and spotless and the staff very attentive and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.
