I”ve stayed at prob 100 hotels and this is the worst possible. The manager is so rude that she made me cry. She even called me a liar in front of my kids. Never been so bad treatened. They Even charge you for service..And We started for 5 nights and they tricket us when They have us the bill. Ruiner our vacation. Do not Stay here!
Breakfast buffet was excellent. The rooms, lounge, dining were beautiful, however, air conditioning was not effective in our and other rooms. We had to get up late at night to open sliding glass door on balcony to cool room to a comfortable temperature. By the time we returned in afternoon it was hot again.
Ice was only available from bar, by the glass. Not convenient as we were on 3rd floor.
Only one outlet in room to plug into, it was on wall opposite the bed. No USB plugs. Bring your outlet adapter to charge phones.
In my experience all the staff are really friendly and cannot do enough for you which ensured my friends and I had a pleasant stay. It's location cannot be bettered - it is literally on the shore of Lake Maggiore and has its own jetty and beach. There are also terraces where you can sit and relax, have a drink or dine whilst taking in the beautiful views. The hotel itself is superb! Tastefully decorated with comfortable furnishings which also extends to the large and spotlessly clean bedrooms. Air conditioning throughout the hotel was welcome given the high temperatures we were experiencing.
Those wishing to eat will not be disappointed. Breakfast was an extensive self serve buffet of extremely high quality with something to please everybody. We ate at the hotel on both nights of our stay and weren't disappointed. The dinner menu is varied and my friends and I can vouch that not only was the food nicely presented but it also tasted delicious.
I enjoyed my stay so much that I have now booked to return for a special occasion.
