Very walkable hotel in the old town of Bologna. We stayed here for its ease of walking to the train station. It is nice to be able to leave your key with the staff and pick it up after adventuring.

The room was on the 5th floor, a gorgeous view, incredible sunset, but until 1 am you can hear noise from the cafe below, this is unavoidable throughout the city. The amenities are good, at the reception they gave us a map, wrote down where to go for a walk

The hotel was within walking distance location from the train station and also the main sites; it is not far from a major street with lots of shops and things to do; it is also not far from the college area where you can eat and drink for cheap; the hotel itself is low thrills with small European rooms, but are clean.

Our arrival into Bologna was midnight and this budget stay for 6-7 hrs was perfect, clean and comfortable. Breakfast downstairs was included with a nice selection and they held our luggage while we visited the city sites for about 4 hours before leaving. Reservation emails to my questions were timely and friendly, the hotel location is walkable to the main train station and to many of the city sites...

Very positive staff with very good English language skills. It was warm in my room. The included breakfast is enough and fresh. We came too early in the hotel and they offered us to leave the luggage until our room is ready. I recommend the place.

Very easy location. Rooms are big but old style. Very clean. The location of the hotel is the best since it's 20min walking from the center and it also has a small parking area for free. Nice and easy to stay including a good breakfast

Personally I liked it, the room was comfortable, private shower even though it's a bit small you can move the shower doors to make it feel bigger and also the staff was very nice and helpful. When I arrived they hadn't received my reservation yet, but as I showed them the confirmation mail I received, they let me have a room 👍

Really nice and almost family friendly hotel, clean, good buffet .. No excesses and where all the staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home. But especially at reception. Hotel room was clean and 3stars like it was advertised. The staff was helpful and inviting, that is why I give it 4-stars. If you have no problems walking ,not bothered about fancy facilities and only looking for a place to sleep in a hotel then this is a good hotel to stay in as it is close to railway station and center of Bologna.

Unfortunately, the restaurants in the area are closed or have stopped operating, the nearest shop is on a busy roundabout 300 meters from the hotel. Pretty good hotel, close to the train station, a bit further from the old town center - but still walking distance. Quiet area (or maybe that was because my room wasn't facing the street?). Only "complaint" is that the elevator is very small, very slow to arrive and only goes to the third floor. I preferred taking the stairs instead - it's only 4 floors and I'm not old, disabled or otherwise challenged...

Wonderful rooms and service. Location gets a 3 star only because the rooms are actually located a significant walk from the reception desk where you check in (13 mins in our case). Without bags, it's a breeze, not so much with bags. Especially when you've reached after a long journey. The actual location itself was still really good given everywhere we wanted to eat and sight see.

Good location but a bit dirty and the A/C kept turning off - the staff manually operates the breaker box it seems.

Good environment, clean and hygienic

Room was spacious and provides toiletries. Breakfast was included and there was a variety of items. Customer service was excellent. Location is close by plaza and various restaurants and cafes. The only problem is no elevators, we had the second floor and bringing luggage up was a struggle.

The water was fully charged at the minibar price. It is a hotel with an old-fashioned feel. You should take into account that there is no elevator. The breakfast area was clean and had a good atmosphere! The heating was good, so it was warm even though Bologna was cold.

The hotel is 5 minutes from the central station and 5 minutes from the montagnola park. I arrived during check-in time, but there was no one at the reception. Also, for some reason the phone didn't work, so I almost ended up without a place to stay. I recommend checking in early. The accommodation itself was very good. It's a little far from the city, so be careful.

Great location in the heart of Bologna. A lot of choices for cafe, lunch or bars nearby. Even though there is a lot of nightlight in the area, we weren’t bothered from noises. Hotel is located in center of Bologna. You can easily walk to the center. Rooms are nice and clean. Service and check in/out is very nice and polite. Breakfast is ok. I recently stayed at hotel university, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel is perfectly located, within walking distance of many key attractions, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The location is truly picture perfect, located in the heart of the Bologna market. The delectable bounty of the city is literally at your fingertips. The room was cozy, comfortable and quiet for our late November visit. The staff are welcoming and helpful with city tips, transportation arrangements and any questions one might have. It is a very pleasant oasis in a very busy city.

We stayed in Bologna for the Davis Cup finals and found l' Albergo delle Drapperie a perfect choice. Centrally located, easy to find and welcoming. It is within a stroll to main attractions, and is right in the middle of a bustling shopping area, yet with no noise in the rooms. It was very quiet hotel in night and get very goog sleep at nigth. It was in city centre and everything was very close and reachable by foot.

There is nothing actually wrong with the hotel as it is clean and quiet and the staff is lovely, but the hotel is on a canal that was dry the entire time we were there, on a graffiti-laden narrow street, and is dark with a dated and tired decor. It was my least favorite of all the hotels we stayed in on our trip. The best part was the Lego town displayed in the basement.

A very peculiar place which was a hospital and when you are in you'll understand. But, very comfy, firm beds in quite austere, monastic rooms with religious iconography. Breakfast was great with a selection of meats, cheese and usual continental foods. Great location and cheap to stay.

Good basic rooms. Quiet and clean and comfortable. They provided everything I needed. Staff were friendly and helpful and good at using translation apps. The breakfast had a variety of good food. I ate dinner here one night and it was disappointing.

We have been looking for a place like that for two weeks in Italy. It was my best italian food experience so far. Pizza with burrata, tagliatelle al ragu and seafood in spicy tomato sauce. Well, with each meal I was more impressed. I would recommend this place for everyone, seriously. Staff is english speaking and friendly.

Very nice place run by a nice family. They take care of the guests and prepare the rooms exceptionally well. It felt like a small home away from home. No airport shuttle is available but booking a taxi is very simple. The restaurant serves some nice pizzas and traditional food from Bologna. Recommended.

The staff were friendly and the hotel is beautiful. The rooms are big and clean. I travelled with 8 year old and there was 10-12 min walk through a park to the bus stop and my kid was happy. We enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend this hotel if you like peaceful environment and be on reachable distance from the stations.

I wish I could book directly on combo, not through booking or whatever the other connector was... It was unclear about the check-in time. I found out after I payed and made the booking. I always stay at Combo when I’m in Italy. I had a great experience and the staff as usual very helpful and friendly. The location of the hostel is near the train and bus station, therefore, is very handy, however is in an industrial.
