Hotel Roma Tor Vergata

First of all I should mention that travelling to this location with public transport and luggage might be difficult. There is a bus stop nearby from one of the metro stations, but it's infrequent. The metro is about 15 minutes walk, but it might be really scary and lonely at night and early morning. Google often recommends getting off at Torre Angela but Tore Gaia is a better option. With that out of the way, I found both the room and breakfast options underwhelming, especially for a 4 star rated hotel, also one that is located outside the main city premises. I stayed at better 2 and 3 star hotels in Geneva and Barcelona during my trip. The reception people are quite prompt in addressing any requirement but some of the staff lack common sense. One particular incident was very uncomfortable when we requested one or the attendants during breakfast to fill some water in our water bottle. She brought back a half molten bottle. Like who in her right mind pours boiling water in a plastic bottle?!? When the incident was highlighted, she came with her senior who snatched the bottle from my hands and started asking "you want money? you want money?", which I of course refused. I suggest you train your staff better and give your guests a 4 star experience and not a B&B experience

Our stay here was not that comfortable. Rooms were OK in the sense, it was neat but not a luxury. Far off from the airport location and it takes nearly one and half-hour to 🚗 during peak hours. Complimentary breakfast was 👎.

The hotel is situated a bit far from the airport, requiring a €65 transfer fee despite advertising a free shuttle that doesn't exist. While the rooms are clean and the staff friendly, the amenities don't match their descriptions; the pool was out of service, and the only available pool table was old. Additionally, the breakfast offered was quite simple. Overall, the location is decent, but there are discrepancies between what's promised and what's delivered."
