We had the very nice and spacious Junior Suite with a large terrace. Perfect for a family with two children.
The outdoor pool is well maintained and a very pleasant change in the heat.
The breakfast has a good selection with something for everyone.
The staff are very helpful and friendly.
The distance to the main sights by car is about 20 minutes.
We will book there again on our next trip to Rome.

Novotel Rome Est does not offer services of 4 starts as you pay for. The pool and location are nice, but the rest of it: staff, food, cleanliness needs a lot of improvement. The rooms are old and we had to change 2 rooms until we god a reasonable one. The smell from the room is very suspicious.... We came from Novotel Genova to Rome Est Novotel and we had a big disappointment. The reason we booked Novotel Rome was because the high standards of Genova Novotel, but we were very disappointed about what we found in Rome.

Not a bad hotel but really poorly located, especially if you don’t have a car. Food is decent, although they don’t change up their breakfast at all. But yes pool area is quite nice and they have plenty entertainment. Rooms are outdated and no new tech TV’s so you’re forced to watch Italian TV.
La Rústica station is out of commission so you need to pay to get a taxi to get to the Metro station and honestly the East side of Rome is not exactly the nicest. I will definitely stay in the centre or West side of Rome when I come again.

Very nice place to stay when you visit Rome. The place is outside the city but it's very easy to access. The big plus is the underground garage which it's free. Rooms are clean and cozy tipical for Novotel chain hotels. Breakfast very tasty and diversified. 10+

Because of hard access it’s better to reach the hotel during day time itself if going by metro; it might be more easily accessible from a taxi. We had a family room and it was very small, we were not even able to open our bags after two queen size bed. However, they easily refunded our money on cancelling the second day reservation. It’s probably better to plan ahead if planning on staying in Novotel.

The location of the hotel was inconvenient, as it’s far from the city and tram or metro access was not available. We had to rely on taxis, which increased our expenses. On a positive note, the room was decent, and the breakfast was above average.

Upside... Hotel itself is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful....
Downside ...the Hotel is miles away from anywhere and I think it's built on an old industrial park.... there is a train station LaRusteca but you need to walk 10 mins through what seems a hidden pathway that is overgrown ...

Very smart hotel with secure parking and a good breakfast included. A small swimming pool and restaurant on site. Odd location in a somewhat delapidated area, but very secure.

We stayed at this hotel for only 1 night. It is clean and tidy. They have a pool which felt very good on a hot day. The pool is not heated.
It seems to be located a little out of Rome City Center, and there are not shops and restaurants surrounding it, not what I expected. It seemed to be located in an industrial area. But it had a swimming pool and that is what we needed.
The restaurant is divine! I ordered a rigatone ragoe dish and my husband ordered a hamburger. The lemon sorbet is delicious. I wish I had a picture of it. Their menu has many options.
Their breakfast was delicious, I filled up on the breakfast croissants that had different cremes in them. Delicious!!!!!!
They also had a honey comb, that was a treat.

It was really nice to stay there but few points need to consider for betterment.
1. Hotel should have shuttle service from/to central Termini area.
2. Small tuck shop for basic purchase like bread, jam, drinks and fruit as we disconnect from main city.
3. Visitors SIM card must provide as per guest request for local data useage.
4. Hôtel should provide veggies food or Halal food for Muslim guest.
Please consider these points for more better results.
