Hotel Cervara Park in Rome

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in as a tour guide. I've been traveling around Italy for a long time, but I've never encountered such an approach to a group. First of all, the rooms. Unfortunately, there was mold, windows that wouldn't close properly, ants in the rooms—which the receptionist claimed were the customers' fault—because they brought food, and ants from the food. As for the food, it was a disaster for a 4-star hotel. First of all, the hotel has no catering facilities. The breakfast bar is very small, with a selection of pastries, some pre-made sandwiches, juice, and coffee. The room can accommodate a maximum of 15 people. Dinner was cold, tasteless, and brought by a caterer. The staff—one Mr. Imail—was really okay, trying to do the best they could, but the receptionist was just paying the bill and not bothering her. Nothing to do with the group. As a group, I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone, I don't even recommend it to individual clients. The connection to the center isn't bad, the district is on the outskirts of the city, without any shops or bars, a bit dangerous.Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't even deserve a 3*. There are no glasses in the rooms; they probably tacked on the 4* themselves.

Terrible Experience: Bed Bugs, Rude Service, and Stale Breakfast**

I had an awful stay at this hotel. First and foremost, the room had bed bugs! My partner and I woke up with bites all over, and when we reported it to the front desk, the staff was dismissive and rude. Instead of apologizing, they acted like it was no big deal and offered no real solution.

The service throughout our stay was equally disappointing. The staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than guests. We also had issues with our room not being cleaned properly, and requests for basic amenities were either ignored or took forever to be fulfilled.

To top it all off, the breakfast was terrible. The food was stale and clearly not fresh, with limited options that were barely edible. We ended up skipping breakfast after the first day because it was just that bad.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. It was an uncomfortable and frustrating experience from start to finish. Spend your money elsewhere and avoid the nightmare we went through.

Got stuck in the lift to and was just told to try again. Did not use this again. Filthy lift.
Got into the room which was unmade from previous guest. No apologies but was located another instantly which smelt damp. We asked for another due to my sister's asthma but was told no other rooms were available. Mosquitoes in the landing so get into rooms really quickly and have ac blasting.

Location not ideal but bus and metro to get to attractions are easy.

Unpleasant staff in dining area who was also receptionist in the morning.

Terrible hotel masking itself as a 4-star hotel. They cancelled on our reservation without informing us. When we arrived 40mins before the stated closing time, the staff was already closing and said that he doesn’t care what happens to us, told us to get out of the lobby and left us tourists stranded on the street.

Don’t stay here.

Terrible experience as the hotel cancelled our booking without letting us know. We handed up at 11pm in the street in an empty area with nowhere to sleep and our bags and we could not even stay in the lobby the time to find another hotel because they were closing it. The company from which we did the booking confirmed that this hotel never informed them either.
